hey uh i was going to return from hiatus during break but my dad passed away unexpectedly last week so... there’s a lot going on and i don’t really have any motivation to come back to tumblr at the moment and so i’m gonna just call this an indefinite hiatus for now. i’ve missed my mutuals and i’m wishing all of you a happy and healthy new year and i hope to see you guys again when i’m ready to come back

so i was studying with a friend the other day and he was translating part of a book into english out loud and translated 小さな坊や as “tiny boy... little boy, baby” and it reminded me so much of the nightman cometh song that i just like... instantly started cracking up i had to cover my mouth bc i couldn’t keep a straight face he was like genuinely worried he had translated the english wrong and i was laughing at his mistake i didn’t know how to explain the wording was just funny to me bc of some dumb television show djhfdg
