Got a little sketch of Babette from Beauty and the Beast (drawing a little round of Beauty and the Beast characters). I always have fun sketching out characters. There's just something about those rough edges and marks that makes the drawing feel more alive.

Cute Sketch of O.C.s

Got this cute little sketch of two of my characters.

Mikayla (the one with pigtails) and Arla (the one with the ponytail).

These are the characters I usually draw the most. The concept story is after being rejected by a prestigious school in her city, Mikayla runs into Arla, who was kicked out by the very same school Mikayla applied to. These two girls become friends and devise a way to prove they don't need the school to build a good career for themselves, but they find it more challenging than they hoped. Throughout their adventures, they find other rejects who join their cause. I'll give more details but that's gist of it.

People who aren’t writers just don’t get it. They think that our favorite OCs would be getting the easiest possible rides in life, but nope, all of our favorite OCs get French-dipped in blood and angst and trauma.

Thought I'd practice drawing happy expressions while designing characters and this fun lil guy came out! :D In all honesty, my favorite aspect of art I enjoy doing the most is designing different types of characters with different character expressions. Especially eyebrows, they're so fun to draw.

You know when you're writing a story and your two main characters start sassing each other and their personalities really start to shine and you start to feel those character dynamics and really get to know who your characters are and you have a better idea of where this story is going-
