Kvinden i buret [The Keeper of Lost Causes] – mini review

An ok film, but very far from the original novel, sadly. I really looked forward to watching this because I've read the book. And yes, I KNOW it's hard to transfer a book into film, but lately we've seen very good versions. LOTR, Hunger Games, The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo, and not least Harry Potter. So it is possible. I would have liked the film 30-40 min longer to dig a bit deeper into the story, and to better explain certain things I really feel they either miss or simply neglect to explain or tell. And in my opinion they stray too far from the original material. Too much is changed – not for the better.

Bekendelser, del 1

Jeg skal være den første til at indrømme, at jeg er møg-træt af sne.

Som sådan er sne ok, når det er decemeber / januar ... til nød februar. Det er jo fantastisk at bygge snemænd i, lave engle i, sne-kamp etc sammen med ungerne.

Men nu er det altså den 11. marts – officielt er foråret skudt ind, så se nu at pisse af med det sne, og lad vintergækker, krokus – ja gerne appelsintræer for all I care – titte frem, så vi kan kyle støvler, overtræksbukser, kælke og sneskrabere på loftet. Så kan vi begynde at se lyset forude ...

Verdensherredømme forude

Vi skal nu i en uges tid, have en hund på ferie. Det er mine svigerforældres, og vi skal passe den fordi de er på ferie.

Fint nok med det. Her efter et par dage med et sådan kræ i huset, er det gået op for mig, at hunde jo langsomt er ved at overtage verden.

Og hvad bygger jeg den crazy teori på? Den bygger jeg på det faktum, at når man først har nogen til at gå bag sig, og samle ens lort op efter sig, så er man da godt i gang med at overtage verden …

Ja ja … jeg siger det jo bare …

The new Tomb Raider game is really epic. Great visuals. Great sounds, and really convinsing voice acting.

And the gameplay it self is cool. Lots of puzzle and some combat.

Me: There may be some licensing issues with that. Do you have an affiliation with Disney? Can you supply me with an image you have permission to use?

The client sends me the first Mickey Mouse image he finds on Google Images.

Client: Can you add a football and animate it so he is kicking it?

Me: No, I’m not an animator.

Client: Do you know someone that can do this?

Me: Walt Disney could.

Client: Great! Can he do it in the budget?
