Theo closed the door to his apartment, falling backwards against it and sliding to the floor. It was a dramatic gesture but it felt fitting to physically sink to the ground when that's exactly how he felt on the inside; sinking. Falling. Crashing. Burning.

What the hell was he thinking? Agreeing to be in a fake relationship with Scott, hell, suggesting it. Was he fucking stupid? What did he think was gonna happen when he played pretend getting everything he wanted? That it wouldn’t affect him at all? That if he was just self-aware enough he’d be immune to his own pathetic, lovesick brain chemistry? Idiot.

Admitting defeat wasn’t something that came easy to Theo, but defeated he was. More than just his pride was hurting and he’d take another eight years on the Dread Doctors’ table over another second of this.

“It’s bad enough when Donovan tries to go behind my back, but you? It was so much easier with you,” Theo explained softly. Josh shivered, and clenched his fingers, grimacing in fear. Theo rubbed the alcoholic steriliser over Josh’s abdomen, the cool temperature causing Josh’s skin to erupt in goose bumps, turning from its tanned color to a pinkish hue as the steriliser dried. Theo lifted a syringe, turned it skyward and filled the syringe with a metallic liquid, careful to avoid air bubbles.

“Theo please” Josh begged softly, "Donovan and I had a deal."

 Ignoring Josh’s pleas, knowing that a deal with Donovan was Josh searching for an excuse for insubordination. Theo tapped the syringe lightly, the long needle ominously hanging in the air. Holding Josh’s forearm to the table, his nails digging slightly into Josh’s arm, Theo traced the vein in the crick of Josh’s elbow and inserted the syringe at an angle. Josh whimpered slightly, his muscles contracting as he firmly shut his eyes. Theo pushed the syringe plunger and released the liquid into Josh’s vein. The hand that was holding Josh’s forearm to the table shifted slightly, and Theo tapped softly on Josh’s exposed arm. Theo reached over, and placed his hand on Josh’s face, his thumb resting on Josh’s cheek. He stroked the tear that formed in Josh’s eye, watching as it trickled down in the direction of his ear.

“Nothing. No one’s coming.” The chimera lowers his head, the claws poking out of Liam’s hands and pressing into his mouth, ready to go the same way he came. With hell and a violent explosion of terror, crawling through the streets of Beacon Hills, the smirk on his lips stinging him in bitter silence.

“My favorite little coyote, so sad and so lost in all the memories of what was.” Liam chimes in, ghastly as ever and reeking of sinister laughter.

“When you’re alone it’s easy to think.” He begins to let it go, the lump rising in his throat, burning his eyes, and decaying his loosely held emotions.

“You’re alone?” Liam’s tongue slides out, licking the blood over Theo’s face, where his claws have sunken into the chimera’s skin. It’s oddly satisfying and he’ll feel anything. Even if it’s a sick joke that Liam’s pulling on him to think he’s safe and secure.

I didn’t mean to just go quiet like that, and I hope you didn’t feel ignored. I’ve been spending some time trying to figure things out.

There were moments I wasn’t sure if continuing these messages still made sense or if they mattered as much as I thought they did. But the more time passed, the more I realized they do matter — to me, and hopefully to you too. Sometimes we all just need a little reminder of support to sort through some things in our own way.

I’m slowly finding my way back to what feels important, and this connection is one of those things. Thank you for being patient, even if you didn’t know you were. Hope you’re doing okay. And if you’ve been going through anything yourself —just know I’m rooting for you.

Sometimes we need space to hear our own thoughts again. And sometimes, that space reminds us how important it is to reach out, to keep holding on to the people and moments that bring light. Maybe I don’t always know the right words or how to say what I mean, but I do care for all of you.

You don’t know me, and maybe that’s the best part. I’m just a quiet voice passing through. And if you’re still here, reading this — I hope you're doing okay. If not, that’s okay too. Either way, I’m sending you warmth and kindness from where I am.

Maybe no one has told you this lately, but you matter. Your thoughts, your feelings, your dreams — they’re all important. The world is better with you in it.

I hope you find small moments of peace today. And I hope you never forget: you are worthy of kindness, love and all the good things that exist in this world.

“Hey, baby.” Theo is at the end of the hallway, waiting by the stairs and looking as good as he always does, fucking with Liam’s head some more.

“I—how—are you following me?” Liam looks behind him, suspicion rising in his voice and hears Theo speaking eloquently, the honey dripping from his mouth, eyes softening instantaneously. What a damn asshole.

Vampire!Theo and dark Thiam storytelling through (mostly) moodboards for @nightshade-emrys for the June Teen Wolf Gift Giving Event!!

There isn't much one can do when they wake up bound in the sewers with a throbbing pain in their neck and only enough energy to open their eyes. Or, at least, there isn't much Liam can do. Not when Theo continues feeding off him, keeping him half way sedated week after week.

Maybe it is Stockholm Syndrome setting in, maybe it is the fact that Theo brings him his favorite foods and drinks and plays his favorite songs from time to time, maybe it is because of how Theo sometimes kisses the bite wounds he leaves after drinking his fill.

Whatever it is, Liam is beginning to like it down here. With Theo. He misses his friends and his parents, he says so all the time, but the vampire reminds him that this place is special. Their own little world.

It had been on his mind before he passed out, why Theo took so much this time around, why he mumbled against his skin about needing more strength tonight.

He didn't get an answer until Theo came walking in well past midnight. There is no clock or windows here but he can smell the faint scent of night time dew on his vampire. The smell is barely there though, covered mostly by the pungent aroma of blood Theo is still covered in.

Liam gazes up at him as his moves closer, a confused frown making him look like a puppy seeking answers from its master. Theo crouches in front of him, a bloody hand taking a gentle hold of his chin.

"You don't have to worry about your friends and family anymore." He whispers. Liam smiles.

Theo took care of them for him.

Liam flopped onto the bed. He was tired, despite sleeping for most of the ride over. He stared at the ceiling, listening to Theo’s footsteps as he walked around the room. When Theo emerged from the bathroom, he sat up.

“Which side of the bed do you want?” Liam asked innocently. He had sort of already starfished himself across the bed, limbs everywhere.

“I can sleep in the truck,” Theo reasoned. Liam’s eyes widened in shock.

“You just drove while I slept! You should sleep! Stay? Please?” Liam begged.

Anything was better than the slop that he had been feeding himself through the feeding tube he had placed in his stomach — he didn’t need the feeding tube per se, but the supplement they had designed for him was tasteless anyway — grey sludge that looked more like exploded brain matter mixed with oatmeal that somehow slithered through a thin tube. He figured he’d add some color to it to make it more appetizing, but what was more important was survivability than flavor. A wave of nausea flowed through him and he reached for the brick wall next of the alleyway. He slid down to the ground, sitting on the side of the dumpster that obscured him from the street. The stable ground was cold, and provided a little comfort for Theo as he breathed in through his nose and out his mouth. Smell the flowers. Blow out the candles.
