hi!! would it be alright if I requested a daruk x reader idea? in short terms, daruk and reader grew up together , readers father working as a minor with the gorons and obviously their kids are gonna be meeting at some point. and they hit it off!! as they get older reader becomes a knight for Hyrule that they climbed their way up to becoming a captain and daruk the goron chief. for years they were at each other side even at their old age, and I thought it would be fun if the champions (on a relax type of day, just hanging out near a lake ) actually take notice at how close daruk and reader were, almost like a married couple. daruk dosent really knows what they are talking about, so the champions explain it, and well, he agrees. it seems like it- Revali joke that their just missing the rings... reader wonders sometimes why he would gently caresses their ring finger though... (little bit of context on how much they look like a couple, lots of hugs, playing each others hair (that the champions has seen) , and generally the closeness and how easily they can read each other ) please and thank you if you ever write this out!! if not that's totally fine!! you have a great night or day!! ^^

I liked writing it. Still have some more ideas, hope I will get to them some day.

Your life wasn't something unusual. Simple family. Mom stayed at home most of times, cooking elixirs for visitors of Death mountain to buy and for your father to use when he goes to work. Your father was a miner who worked hand in hand with gorons. And when you think into it, you understand why you have so many goron friends. Though one always stood out.

Daruk and you were mischievous duo. As much as everyone adored your curiosity, you often did stupid things, that would never hurt goron but were possibly dangerous for little hylian like you. You were like... best buddies. Daruk was named the strong one and you are the sneaky one, the mischievous team. You grew up like that. Him helping you with settling into life of Goron city and you protecting him from dogs. You grew up together, and trained as well. I guess it was one of reasons you were strong enough to join Hyrule army and then climb up the ranks.

You never lost touch with him. When you could meet, you ran to each other, when not, you exchanged letters.

Your friend didn't slack off behind as well. He earned his place as Chief and not so long after became a champion. You were really proud of him. Soon, you started to hang out with other champions as well.

It was long day full of training. One that left you feeling filthy, like damn pig that got out of a puddle of mud. Today you were training along with Link and other champions. You probably will work in team sooner or later, so it will be best if you were ready for this.

Luckily, your training was happening in castle and you knew where you could wash all the grime off. Daruk tagged along. You both sat in river stream, that was a bit cold for him, but perfect for you. Soap smelled nice in water and on your skin as you rubbed it in. Your big friend had some troubles with reaching some of his areas and you were happy to help, he did the same for you in return. Then turn came to his hair, Daruk layed head on your lap. You've done it countless times. Fingers go through his wet hair till you feel the skin of his head and start massaging soap into it.

Daruk groaned softly, beady eyes close at feeling of yours hands doing magic in his locks. Somehow his hair were heavy, sharp in way needles are and soft like chiffon in same time. You still don't know what's the deal with his silver locks, but you love to wash them, to feel them under your hands.

A while later you both got out and changed, your legs tired from all the training and extremely heavy goron head on them. Daruk caught up to that fact as soon as your started walking funny. He picked you up and started walking.

People gave you two weird looks as your friend was walking through castle with you on his shoulders. But who cares what they think when you have strong and warm goron carrying you?

Zelda and Link needed to pay visit to Death Mountain. Something related to checking Rudania and of course Daruk as pilot of mentioned beast didn't have other choice but to go with them. Not like he minded much.

They chatted as they walked up the mountain. After a while he noticed that his hylian friends slowed down a bit and halted. Goron turned to them just to see Link supporting princess, who was extremely red and sweaty.

"Something wrong, tiny princess?" - Daruk looked at her with worry, not every day he saw her in such state.

"We need to return back, effect of my fireproof elixir drains..." - Zelda mumbled.

Without second thought Daruk stepped forward and held bottle of elixir out for her.

"Here. I usually take them with me for someone else, it has become a habit, and I don't see any harm in giving it to you, princess."

Of course everyone knew that 'someone' champion mentioned was you. Why would Daruk carry elixirs around for someone who isn't his dear 'friend'? Zelda downed drink in one go and once she got better they started walking again.

"... Where were you keeping the bottle this whole time?"

"Ah... How about we talk about Vah-Rudania instead?"

Oh and don't make me start with how you two talk when you are together. Like nothing else matters. You are his "sweetheart", "honey", "darlin", "little rock" and "sweetcheeks". Any soft nickname he can think of at the moment, really.

Daruk never once was too loud when you were asleep or suffering from headache, you were always so patient with him when he didn't understand something, stark contrast with harsh commander you are to your army. He was quieter for you, you were softer for him, but damn ready to defend each other if needed. Revali swears he saw you nearly commit murder when someone insulted Daruk, only goron himself managed to drag you away while you were screaming curses at guy who was idiot enough to cross you.

You two are world for each other and it reflects in your eyes, but it is a mystery for everyone else if you two are together.

You and champions decided to meet. Just friends hanging out after the long time apart. The meeting place was in between Death mountain and Zora Domain, close to Akkala tower.

Revali and Urbosa somehow met half way where, Link and Zelda were together from very beginning and Mipha crossed with all 4 near meeting place. They chatted as they neared the spot you all settled on in letters. Urbosa was first to notice you and Daruk. She nudged Zelda with chuckle and princess turned to the direction gerudo pointed.

You and Daruk sat under a tree, large shadow covering you both from boiling sun. Daruk was holding your sleepy form close. He spoke about his day, one hand held you tightly against his chest, another stroked your hair. The scene was cute. Domestic, almost.

Revali huffs: "I swear, they are like two birds in middle of spring..."

Link humms in agreement.

Daruk is sitting with Revali, Mipha and Urbosa, waiting for Zelda and Link to return from The Spring of Power. They've been waiting for quite some time now and slowly, everyone started to become bored. At some point Revali turns on Daruk.

"So... What's the deal with captain?"

Daruk blinks and looks at Revali. "What do you mean?"

"I mean, are you together? Like, unofficialy. You two act like old couple but no one mentioned you two dating." - Rito warrior huffs, crosses wings over his chest.

"If I didn't know better I would think you two are married" - Mipha says softly. Urbosa chuckles and looks away, shaking head.

"You two lack rings, really" - Rito snickers.

Daruk looks at them mildly confused. You two are just friends, right? Nothing more, nothing less. You always have been. A duo, full package. But now when he thinks into it...

Goron looks down at his feet. Small daisies peek out in between green patches of juicy grass he is sitting on. White pedals shine under the sun and move with each blow of the wind... maybe there is something between you two. He wasn't sure.

You sat on edge of hot spring, Daruk in it between your legs, back turned to you. You slowly braided his wet hair, smooth locks form solid braids under your hands. You were humming a tune as Daruk looked at sky... it was awfully blue when you were around. Brighter than at times you were somewhere far away.

"And... Done." You said after finishing last braid. Daruk looked at his reflection... he looked silly with his hair up and in braids. He liked it. Goron turned on you with grin, strong hands took yours and he tugged you into the water. Before you could protest, you were seated on his lap, hand in his as he laughed. You wiped your now wet hair from face with chuckle. Daruk smiled and you both set into familiar routine of sharing stories. But something felt different today. Maybe it was the way his eyes lingered on you longer than usual or the way his fingers mindlessly stroked your hands, slowing down each time on your ring finger.

You smiled to yourself. Undressing didn't take long and soon you were climbing into hammock behind him. Revali let out a huff in half sleep.

"Hi, birdie..." He mumbled, turning towards you.

His wings found their place around your middle and beak nuzzled in your neck, breathing in scent, that reminded Revali of home more, than all the blankets, food and other goods that met him today in empty house. You are his home after all not the damn room. When you got into his life all the songs suddenly started to make sense. Doubts came. What if he is not good enough for you, what if where is someone better? He tried not to show it, but it ate him out every day and-

You kissed top of his head and all the thoughts suddenly disappeared. Worries stopped making sense. Revali grumbles, burying beak further in curve of your neck.

Revali is so tired. The fight was difficult, all the warriors were injured, him included. He barely could fly, fresh wound adored his left wing, so then Gannon was defeated and Rito warrior finally got down from Vah Medo, he was met with crowd of cheering people... but Revali doesn't really care for congratulations he recieves. His eyes search crowd for only one person who matters now. You.

As soon as his eyes land on you, champion moves forward. Rito healers trail after him, trying to stop him, so they could wrap his injured wing. Blood soaked through all the feathers around wound, but he couldn't care less, then your eyes finally found his.

He huggs you with his good wing, keeping blood away from your clothes. Revali thought this fight would be his last one. That he won't come back to you. So now he doesn't want to delay, no hesitation anymore.

Blue-feathered warrior steps back and looks you in the eyes. "Marry me"

Some months passed, he didn't even let his wing heal fully, hurrying all the preparations to have the wedding as soon as possible. Surprisingly, Revali insisted on small celebration. "Family only" like he said. Champions, Zelda and Link were where too. Wedding wasn't too loud, food and friendly talks here and where, that's all that Revali and you wished for after such close call only some months ago. Everything felt right. You and him felt right.

Night came. After receiving some encouraging words from Urbosa about upcoming wedding night, you are finally ready to go. You didn't miss small chat Revali shared with Daruk, who petted his back with large grin (Revali nearly tripped over after that pet... but Daruk meant well) and sent him off to you. With that, all the guests said last wishes and you with rito left to have time for yourself.

Revali looks at you, his wife, who is completely stunning in wedding gain. You are finally his, officially his.

Your husband moves forward, tugging you to sit on bed with him.

"Nervous?" He mumbles, nuzzling your neck, wings wrap around your middle.

"A little" You admit softly

Revali humms, and tuggs you closer, making you sit on his lap. "Don't be"

He kisss your shoulder gently, wings go up and down by your sides. Still fresh scar feels a little rough against your body, but it's part of him, that reminds you of all the dangers he came over to be here with you now. Air fills with smell of Revali, your Revali. Flush colors your cheeks as you feel him tug you close.

"I am not heavy, am I?"

"Perfect" Your husband says between soft nuzzles and kisses at your neck and shoulders.

Everything fades in blurr afterwards. His warm body against yours, wings roaming your body. He was a little hesitant at the beginning, but then you both got into it, Revali didn't stop himself from getting his wings everywhere he could reach. Room got hot, hot in a good way. Soft sounds from both of you filled room, nothing harsh, honey sweet and loving.

"Oh, birdie..." Rito hisses, moving hips against yours in slow but steady rhythm. Chest to chest with you, leaning on his own wings on both sides of you, beak tucked in a crook of your neck, breathing in your scent.

"Close" You whine, pawing at his chest, legs wrapped around his hips.

"Me too, birdie, come on... just a little... ah!" His hips flatter and you both reach your high.

Afterwards, you both stay close, limbs tangled as you slowly start to drift off. Revali strokes your back gently.

"I love you" he whispers as you fall asleep with head on his chest.

Ello! I was wondering if you are still doing Legend of Zelda requests. If so I’d like to ask for a rather simple topic. How would our precious bird boi Revali, And if you can Teba and Tulin (Tulin platonically of course), react to a Rito Reader who lacks the ability to fly? It’s not discussed how or why the reader cannot fly, if they were born with the disability or if they lost it, either way they are now the first earthbound rito to live in Rito village. Would they try and help her, or would they listen to the new ways reader has learned to get around hyrule without even needing to fly. Would they tease her or feel pity? Really I just want to see how they would react to see someone without the ability they pride themselves for. Thank you for listening and thank you so much if you do this request!

Revali was making fun of you at first. Rito who cannot fly? Pff, are you even a rito then??

It was for a long while, untill he heard you talking with other person from village about all the difficulties you have with such disability...

Revali felt ashamed after that... he knew that it wasn't exactly his fault that you can't fly, but he couldn't help it. What if he lost ability to fly or was born without it...? Damn, life would be boring and useless for him then...

Next time you met, rito champion asked if you can go with him. Turned out, he found a spot on rito territory, where wind feels as if you are gliding in the sky... he watched how your feathers flattered and smile appeared on your face...

Revali cannot explain it, but since then he started looking for such places if he was in other parts of Hyrule, telling you about them then you meet.

If he happened to travel with you, he mostly kept close to the land, so you could talk, occasionally raising up in the sky to be "your eyes" as warrior called it. Mostly helping to find direction or place to make a stop at.

He was interested in how your life changed, what were you doing now and how you travelled. Revali tried to not raise questions about your flying ability, cursing himself if he made too harsh comment about how much shame it is that you cannot join him on his flying trips.

He even asked Zelda and champions if where are devices that could help you...

Teba's heart aches every time he sees you. Man isn't one to show emotion easily, but sight of you walking on your two just to get from one place to another... it makes him sad.

He saw you not once, while you were walking around rito territory. Where everyone flew, you walked on foot. It was confusing for him, till he confronted you about it. Warrior regretted it moment explanation left your mouth.

You sounded like you were over it, at least you tried to sound so. But he saw how hurt you looked, watching young birds learn to fly...

Teba would protect you if other villagers start acting rude around you.

He probably would ask Link to tell him where he got paraglider or even Purah to make something for you.

If it works, he would happily help you get used to it. It not, rito warrior will gift you something else, that would remind you that you are just as much rito as he and others, even if you cannot fly.

Tulin, oh sweet boy.

First thing first, he didn't know it's possible. Then Tulin asked you about it, he wasn't ready to get such answer. He apologized.

Boy went to his parents, asking what he can do for you, then they didn't have ideas he went to Link and Zelda.

It's not strange at all! I love to ask such questions myself.

For me Revali smells like forest after thunder. Electrified air mixed with smell of wet leaves and ground, add smell of wild berries or pine tree and you will get Revali.

Or maybe it would be more like dust or flowers with honey...
