Hmm. I’ve been making good progress on reposting things to the new blog (and doing horrible at putting the disclaimers up on things here asdfjk) and I’ve come to an interesting piece that raises a question.

There was a prompt I did once and kind of disliked how it turned out and had intentions to rewrite/expand it. Do I transfer the prompt over or nah?? I’m not sure. I hate how roadblocks come up right when I’m getting into the groove. It’s rude.

I guess I should just transfer it like usual and make a note that there’s plans for it to be redone?

It’ll just be reposts for a while, but after it’s caught up, we’ll be back to normal. I have a thing or two lined up to come out once it’s up to date.

Edit: transfers are DONE and everything is moving over there. This blog will now be inactive (aside from me editing redirect links onto old works,,) so go follow me there if you haven’t!

I’m going to try to start transferring things over soon, aka in the next week or so. The poll was kind of a 60/40 split. There was two for reblog gong, two for the edited reposts and one for normal repost. I’m going to repost, fix typos. Take advantage of the chance.

Nothing major will change in any story — the only thing I’m planning (< key word) to change is tweaking the spell Colin did in Forest of Misery. Other then that, it’ll be typos or rewording/fixing minor things.

As I repost things, I’ll edit the originals here by putting a disclaimer at the top that it’s been moved to the new blog. That’s the best way to handle it, I think.

This might be a slow process, but you can hop over to that blog whenever. I just reposted the first thing, so feel free to hop over.

Now comes the hard part about switching over blogs. (New blog will be named nikkywrites and is technically made, but is currently barren of absolutely everything but profile and header image.)

The content.

How do I go about transferring over what I have? I kind of don’t want to just reblog, but remaking the posts means losing any and all notes/comments. That might be the lesser evil, though. If I post everything originally (also have to move over all my drafts ugh) I’ll be tempted to edit a couple things — mainly typos, but I know there’s a couple things that I’d change with the chance.

You know what? I’m going to do it.

This blog deserves more. It deserves to be its own thing. I might lose people in the switch, but I’ll regrow.

I don’t know how I’m going to handle everything quite yet, but I’m going to figure it out. I’ll get some feedback, too, so you all can have some say.

Meet Eli!

So I was watching @caffeinewitchcraft 's stream earlier, chatting, and realized that I don’t actually have any photos of Eli on this blog? So here are a few to get started. It’s him on Halloween.

I’m thinking of doing doggo updates on here, occasionally posting photos and sharing anything exciting that happens. (This will still be a writeblr, just with... you know, occasional puppy. I don’t think there will be complaints, but who knows.)

Let me know if there’s any interest? If people want, maybe one day I can do little videos with him to show off his tricks? He knows around 15 now, depending on what you classify as a trick, so he’s pretty smart.

I don’t know, but enjoy the cute puppy.
