I had this idea last night and it’s been eating away at me since:
Childhood best friend!Simon who left when he joined the military. Cbf!Simon who, after finding his family murdered, disappears again -or so you think. Simon, who spends every night he’s in town at your place while you sleep. Who sees that you kept his old jumper, the one he gave you before he left. He sees how you hold it and cuddle it, holding it to your nose as if hoping it still smelled like him after all these years. He can’t give you a new one, but he can make this one smell like him again. When you’re out buying groceries, so much more often than usual, it seems, he takes the jumper and rubs in against himself; his armpits, the back of his neck, and then, against his cock and balls as the scent of you fills his nose.
You seem to sleep better that night.
Other things start to change too. He now starts to touch you as you sleep. Just brushing his hands against your hair. Feather-light touches that are almost impossible to feel.
He does darker things too. You are, thankfully, single. And he makes sure you stay that way. Your nice lotion gets an extra load of five of protein. Your blind dates mysteriously stop texting you back. You’re getting /frustrated/ which leads to a night with your vibe and dildo (much smaller than his, Simon notes. He’ll have to change that). Your little moans and whines make it almost impossible for him to not barge into your room and take you. But Simon Riley is nothing if not patient. When you finally fall asleep, one hand still clutching your dildo, he sneaks out.
Two weeks later, a mysterious package is at your door from a secret admirer. You don’t even notice the “clone a Willy” printed on the bottom of the silicone toy. What you do notice is how big it is and how much you want it to ruin your holes. You set to work right away, opening yourself up. Getting so frustrated that it doesn’t fully fit. All the while your secret admirer watches from your closet.
And when he does finally lay claim to you? It’s all roses and apologies.
He knocks on your door after a particularly grueling mission, bouquet of your favorite flowers and a teddy bear in hand.
“Simon?” You say, shock coloring your voice. “My Simon?”
“‘Ello, lovie,” he replies. Sheepishly smiling, he holds out the gifts.
“This is real? You’re really here?” You ask grabbing the flowers and teddy.
“‘M here,” he says, scared you might reject him after all this time. Not that it matters, but it would still hurt.
You drop the gifts and he braces for the rejection. What he didn’t plan on, was you wrapping your arms around him and sobbing into his chest. “Si, I missed you so much.” He leads you into your flat, you don’t wonder how he knows where your room is. He sits you on your bed and holds you while you cry.
He’s a perfect gentleman for the first few months of dating and rekindling your friendship. It’s not until you tell him one night after a few drinks too many, “you know, Si? I had the biggest crush on you when we were kids.”
“Did you now, lovie?”
“Still do,” you confess, eyes strangely clear despite the alcohol.
He doesn’t think when he finally kisses you. Falling into bed with you is easier than breathing.
Your breath hitches as you feel that familiar stretch when he enters you. But you don’t think about it. You don’t think what it means when he hits every spot that your secret admirer’s gift reaches.
Now he has you. And now he’s not letting go.

Alternative note, Shinso’s mom makes baked goods for Aizawa as a thanks for training him and shinso is super reluctant to give it to him and sooo embarrassed but Aizawa hasn’t had homemade baked goods in so long it cracks something inside him to get some
Shinso flops the box on to the table. The perfectly arranged cookies are now slanted, the more delicate of them shattered in half. Mom would have his ass if she found out they had been shoved into his backpack and nearly forgotten, but she'll never find out.
Aizawa peeks up from his desk, one brow raised. The other never moves, frozen in place by either the eyepatch or the injury itself. Shinso tries not to stare at it too much, but his eyes and curiousity always wander.
"My, uh," Shinso rolls his eyes, partially at himself. "My mom wanted me to give these to you. As a thank you for the training."
The kid shrugs his shoulders. His teacher isn't one for gifts or holidays, but at least he can pass the treats on to Eri if need be. The girl still visits sometimes, popping in right after school ends.
Aizawa inspects the package for a moment, nodding to himself. His expression softens a bit as he brings the box closer.
"These are nice," he says. "Your mother is an excellent baker."
"I guess. She does christmas cookies each year. It's kind of her 'thing.'" Shinso gives air quotes. The cookies are charming when he was young, but now he's nearly an adult himself, tied to home every december by confectionery obligation.
"It's actually kind of annoying how seriously she takes it," Shinso admits as he slides into a chair. He spins around, the wheels creaking at the weight. "It'd be easier if she'd relax."
He knows he's being bratty, but it spills out of him anyway.
"Is your mom--?" Shinso tries. "Is your mom so--?"
Aizawa glances up again, eye oddly wide. "My mom?"
His gaze casts downward, back to the box in front of him. He touches the bow on the top rather delicately, his mind clearly somewhere else.
"She was..." he pauses. "Young."
Shinso reels back.
"I didn't-" His face is hot with shame.
"It's fine." Aizawa stands and ruffles his student's hair with one hand, casual, yet firm. "She's been gone longer than she was here."
His voice is unaffected, maybe even calloused. Not hurt, not reflective. Just. There.
"Thank your mother for the cookies."

This idea came to me a while ago, and I shared it with @devil-in-hiding in her DMs. I now feel the need to share it with the world. Featuring: Merman!Ghost, Privateer!Price, Pirate!Soap, and Selkie!Gaz.
Story under the cut because it is long:
It is not normal for merfolk to survive long after their pod is murdered. It is even stranger for them to find a new pod. Strange and unheard of, but not impossible. Ghost was a living testament to that; nothing he had lived through was "impossible," but it was unlikely.
He had been away on a hunt when a warring pod had attacked his family and killed them all, down to the last babe. He had known as soon as he re-entered his family's territory that something was wrong. There was blood in the water, making it taste tangy and metallic as it ran across his gills. And the sight of his family, left for dead and rotting in their cave, would forever haunt him. How he hadn't completely lost his mind was a mystery to him. He became a weapon, a hunter. He had given his family a proper farewell, weighed them down to feed the deep, and then he left. He would not return to his ancestral home. He would lay low at shady taverns and bars, where the fermented drinks of humans were served. He'd listen in to the shady conversations the other patrons were having, waiting to hear anything about who murdered his family.
It happened after he returned from a hunt for someone willing to pay. He'd swam inside one of his usual haunts, brushing past the mermaids serving drinks and the unruly and unsavory patrons. A snippet of conversation caught his damaged ear; "Aye, that ol' cave that Manuel an' I raided is empty now. Looks like we missed one."
It took years of his training to not swivel his head to the voice speaking. Instead, he gestured for one of the maids to bring him a drink as he stayed at a table near the speaker.
"Yeah, well it'll be a damn miracle if one's still around. You know how hard it is to find a live lone folk with no pod to return to?"
"Ya don' understand, Kevin. I was there tha' day. I even said to Manuel that someone was missin'. There was a empty harpoon hook an' an extra bed. He didn' listen. And I've heard whisperings of a mercenary. Usually only does hunting, but will eliminate targets if given the right price."
"So?"
"It started shortly after the attack. We fucked up, an' I know it will bite Manuel and us in the tail."
Their talk turned to other matters and other deals while Ghost sat and sipped at his drink. He knew a Manuel from his time in the King's Guard. In fact, Manuel was the one who forced him to retire early. Because he'd been working with a group of anarchists...
It was easy work, hunting the pod that killed his family. Easy, but satisfying nonetheless.
It was only after his enemies were completely killed that he started hunting humans. Humans who forced other pods and clans out of their waters, who pushed them to extinction.
It is on one such day, where he is looking for a ship to sink and murderers to kill that he finds John Price.
The human is on the sandbar, surrounded by bloody water. He will die soon, likely before the sun sets. His breaths are wet and gurgle-y. And Ghost soon sees why. Humans are just as violent to each other as the merfolk, it seemed. Two deep slashes, forming an 'X' across the human's chest, bone visible to the eye. The human's mustache is doused in blood as well.
Even as Ghost watches, he sees the human cough, blood spewing from his mouth.
Simon wonders what the mustache would feel like against his skin; merfolk don't grow facial hair.
Ghost knows the human will die on his own. But he also knows not to let an innocent suffer. His harpoon is ready in his hand. It would be best to put the human out of his misery.
Simon stays his hand. Something is drawing him to the human. Something beyond his control. He finds himself reaching for his pouch, one of the last remnants of his previous life. He has potions and poultices, salves and ointments, all recipes from his mother in the pouch. He knows they can work, they can heal this human that has him so enraptured.
Simon reaches for the healing medicines he knows will work best. He approaches the human and is surprised when his eyes open. Eyes clouded with pain and fever, yet soulful. Simon saw they contained multitudes. "This'll sting," he rasps, his voice so disused he finds it hard to speak at all.
The human doesn't respond; he has passed out from the pain and blood loss.
Simon realizes he has limited time to act. He presses the poultice to the human's chest, a muttered word of power boosts its speed. He forces the human's mouth open and makes him swallow a gulp of potion to replenish his blood supply.
He keeps vigil for hours, long past the setting of the sun and the rising of the moon. It is at the break of day that the human regains consciousness.
He opens his eyes, eyes that are clear and sparkling in the early morning light. "Who are you?" he asks.
Ghost doesn't reply. Nor does he dive beneath the water now that his charge is awake.
"Am I dead?" asks the human. He thinks that is most likely; he knows his wounds were fatal.
"No." The word is curt, uninviting. It reveals nothing about his rescuer.
The human furrows his brow. "I should be dead," he argues.
"You were injured. I healed you." Ghost doesn't know why he's still here, still talking to this human.
"You...you healed me?"
Ghost nods.
"Well how about tha'," says the human. "We were always told that the merfolk would kill us on sight; especially in this area."
Ghost grunted, "Some might." He would know. He alone was the reason the humans were extra cautious in this area. Humans too arrogant to think they could ever match a merfolk in the open sea.
"Hm..." said the human, lost in thought. He turned suddenly to Ghost and asked, "Do I get to know the name of my rescuer?" A cheeky smile graces his face.
Simon thinks it makes him look younger.
"...Simon," he says, "My name is Simon." He doesn't know why he gives the name of a merman who he'd long considered dead. "Most call me Ghost," he adds.
"John Price," says the human, grinning and holding out his hand.
Simon takes it, unsure of the gesture.
John takes it, grip firm, and shakes it.
Ghost, no. Simon finds himself even more drawn to this human, this John Price. He shows no fear. Simon pulls himself further onto the sandbar, keeping his tail in the water. He repeats the man's name, voice still cracking and raspy from years of disuse, "John Price."
"There ya go, Simon," says John, nodding. "Say, do you know where the nearest bit of land is? I need to let my employer know what's happened."
Simon shakes his head. "The only way off this sandbar is swimming. And the nearest land is leagues away. The island that used to be here has long since sunk." Simon was trying not to think why he feels sad John wants to leave.
"Ah well," says John, settling back into the sand, "I'll just wait here until another ship comes by."
"They won't," says Simon, shaking his head. At John's puzzled look, he elaborates, "Season's changing. Ships won't be this way for months. This was my last check of the area before moving on as well. The storms get too bad this time of year."
Just then a loud crack sounded behind Simon. He turned to see clouds gathering, darkening the sky. The clouds were quickly pushing towards the two.
"Shit," says John, looking around for a bit of non-existent shelter. He could just dive beneath the waves, but there was no way he'd be able to swim and dodge lightning.
Simon was also contemplating this. He could dive deep beneath the waves, safe from any errant lightning. John could not. Simon's eyes flick between the clouds, John's face, and the open ocean.
Ghost never acts without a plan, without carefully considering all his options. Simon does not. Simon follows his heart, quickly and without a thought for the repercussions of his actions. It was why his father hated him. He wore his bleeding heart on his tail.
Simon lunges at John without a clear plan. John is too busy staring at the cloud of impending doom to notice until it's too late.
"What are you-?" is all he gets out before a burning pain shoots down both sides of his neck, quickly followed by the same pain on both sides of his torso.
He is dragged beneath the waves, thrashing.
"Breathe, John!" begs Simon. "Breathe for me."
John has no choice, he's about to pass out from holding his breath. Water filters in and out of his...gills? as oxygen fills his lungs. He kicks his legs and looks down to find a tail. A flowing tail with stripes and color. It looked similar to how Simon's tail must have looked before it was shredded by Manuel.
As soon as he got his bearings, John heard the litany of apologies spewing from Simon.
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry!"
"What are you sorry for, Simon?" asks John, confused. "How did you do this? It's amazing!"
"Ya had my medicine and a word of power. Made ya more receptive to being turned. Simple thing, really."
John was sure that if Simon had legs, he'd be kicking them like a schoolboy waiting to be scolded.
"Simon, I don't know how to thank you," begins John.
"Stay." Simon's voice is so quiet, so weak and unsure.
John wonders what could have caused this sweet merman to feel so unsure. He would have thought he'd imagined the plea, had he not been watching Simon's mouth move. John smiled at him again. He'd smiled more with this merman than he ever did on land. "'Course I'll stay, ya muppet."
Part II with Johnny and Gaz to be added upon request/if there is interest. <3

@karlachismylife Comrade, I keep thinking about Aisling. I’m going to rework some of her backstory and remake her character sheet. Thank you so much for asking about her; I’ve missed writing about her.
Hello darling comrade! Sorry I am a bit late to the party with my uni stuff, but I really want to hear a little bit about your OCs :3
For Aisling (who I may or may not have a little crush on):
🧠 - What do you like most about the OC?
❤️ - What is one of your OC’s best memories?
💀 - Does your OC have any phobias?
Bonus question for the best boy AWOL:
🍕 - What is their favorite food?
And for Claudia (actually, let's make it both MCU and COD Claudia!):
🌺- Do they have any love interest(s)?
🍀 - What originally inspired the OC?
🥊 -What do they love to do? What do they hate to do?
Also, this is not really a question of the game, but if there is some cute fluffy sibling stuff from her childhood maybe that you can tell about? :3 Thank youu!!!
@karlachismylife, comrade! I am sorry I didn't see this until now. I blame the hellsite and their notification system. Thank you so much for asking about my babies! I'm putting them under the cut, as there is a lot!
For Aisling:
🧠 - What do you like most about the OC?
I love how stubborn she is. She does what she believes is right, no matter the cost. She stands up for what she believes in. Even if she stands alone, she will stand against anyone she considers wrong. Which is often politicians.
❤️ - What is one of your OC’s best memories?
Aisling was captured by HYDRA with Bucky, so she doesn't have many memories to start with, especially not pleasant ones.
Her favorite memory of "Before" is taking her younger siblings into town to get some penny candy and catch a picture show.
Her favorite memory of "During" is getting her adopted daughter, Natasha. She and Bucky were sent to kill Natasha's father for trying to desert and give Soviet secrets to the USA. Aisling took Natasha out of the office, and carried her to the car, as Natasha wouldn't let go.
Her favorite recent memory is meeting Natasha again. Seeing her little girl, all grown up and not just surviving but thriving, healed something in her.
💀 - Does your OC have any phobias?
Aisling has thalassophobia, or fear of deep water. Michigan, her home state, has plenty of lakes, and she learned how to swim in the river in her hometown, but not seeing land in any direction and not seeing the bottom, not knowing what's beneath her freaks her out beyond belief.
She is also terrified of Canadian Geese, which is fair. She got on one's bad side as a young girl and it scared her for life.
MCU!Claudia:
🌺- Do they have any love interest(s)?
I have a problem and his name is Steve Rogers. MCU!Claudia was intended for Steve, though there might be something brewing with Bucky as well.
🍀 - What originally inspired the OC?
I, like every MCU fan in 2016, was inspired by the end of Civil War. I was very staunchly Team Cap. I imagined what would happen if I was presented with an opportunity to aide them and what resources would be needed. And Claudia was born.
🥊 -What do they love to do? What do they hate to do?
MCU!Claudia loves to talk to her sister. She'd like to hug her too, but Claire is adverse to hugs in the best of times, and is currently missing a body. She also loves showing off her "genetic enhancements." It's fun to test the limits of what she can do.
She hates having to utilize the black market to make money. She's really not cut out for the backroom deals and political shenanigans that go on. And she doesn't want her product to do bad, but the governments of the world aren't much better.
COD!Claudia:
🌺- Do they have any love interest(s)?
When this idea came to me, I was picturing her with Ghost. No actual identity, lives in the shadows, is a stray that Laswell picked up. She tries to keep her darker inclinations and thoughts to herself, but Ghost lets her relax and not feel ashamed.
🍀 - What originally inspired the OC?
I already had MCU!Claudia, and then I read @devil-in-hiding's On The Run, and I had to rescue my boys. They're not breaking out of prison, but they are wanted men.
🥊 -What do they love to do? What do they hate to do?
COD!Claudia loves to research. She has a degree in archaeology and loves to look up ancient civilizations. She was, before everything went to shit, focusing on bringing laypeople's knowledge into the field. The woman who figured out how ancient Greeks and Romans did their hair, the tanner who still uses bone, the chicken rings, the knives kept away from small children in the rafters, all inspired her to look beyond the textbooks. She also loves to fly the chopper.
She hates combat training. Absolutely hates the sound of flesh on flesh, of bodies hitting the mats. The bang of guns on the shooting range and the loud voices calling orders in her ears.
Fun sibling memories/times:
Aisling:
She took her siblings to see Snow White when it first aired in their local theater. It became a common request for her to sing some of the songs for Colleen and Luke to sleep.
MCU!Claudia:
She and her siblings are all two years apart. So when she graduated, her brother was two years from it, and her sister was four years away. Their parents took them on a cruise to celebrate their last spring break that they would share. She and her siblings may have gone a little overboard on the sunbathing/swimming in the on-deck pool. They were all redder than a cooked lobster, but absolutely beaming. Also, the sisters managed to team up and beat Caleb and his cruise friends during a water volleyball game.
COD!Claudia:
The family would camp frequently, which led to an appreciation of the outdoors and nature. They would frequently play on the beaches of their campgrounds. Claudia always found shells cool rocks. Caleb would build sand castles that could withstand the tides of Lake Michigan, and Claire would flit between the two. She'd take the shells and rocks that Claudia found for Caleb to put in his castles as decorations and structural help. They'd also bury their dad in the sand while mom would take pictures.
#oc Aisling O’Reilly#MCU oc#my oc#seriously. thank you so much.#she’s great and I’d forgotten how much I love her

We don't talk enough about how Kakashi successfully ran Orochimaru off after the prelims when he was sealing Sasuke's curse mark. He really said, if you take another step towards Sasuke, one of us is going to die here, and Orochimaru laughs like it's the funniest thing he's ever heard, but he leaves.
Orochimaru plays it off like he never intended to abduct Sasuke there and then but at most an HOUR later, he's telling Kabuto they need to kidnap Sasuke NOW while the curse mark is still influencing him, which indicates he very much was there to take Sasuke and got thwarted by Kakashi.
I'm not saying Kakashi would've won against Orochimaru but I do think there's something to be said about him making that threat anyway, and Orochimaru finding it credible enough that he backs down.
