Here we have a woman named Caridad Quintana. She's trans. Caridad used to work in demolition back in her late teens and 20s. She often used sledgehammers during this time. There is a sledgehammer somewhere in her home, but she has no idea where it is at the moment (she'd find it if she looked, but… she has no use for it). Last time she found it she was amazed by how much harder it is to lift it now. It makes sense, of course, Caridad's older now, plus she's had a far less physically demanding job and has been on HRT for years. Still, the contrast of struggling with a hammer she used to swing so well was interesting to her. Sexuality statement time, Caridad is heterosexual.

Here we have a woman named Rana Khairy. She's trans. Rana once accidentally left a card that had a phrase relating to an in-joke between her and a friend written in it on the train. She hopes that it was thrown away without reading because the in-joke would sound extremely ominous without the proper context as it's a line from horror work she and this friend enjoy. She wouldn't want to have accidentally scared someone. Sexuality statement time, Rana is bisexual. As we're not Rana I can say that the person who picked up the card also happened to be a fan of the same horror story. So while it was still a bit weird to see a line from it written in a card, it was understood for what it was. The card was binned and only mildly remembered occasionally.

Here we have a non-binary person named Johnna. Johnna often says that a lot can happen in 40 minutes. She has had a lot of very interesting events that've happened over the course of 40 minutes in her life. By 'a lot' I mean that he's had '17' Very Impactful Forty Minute Periods, or as he calls them VI-40-MPs. Yes, they're so serious about this that they have a term for it, they also have written extensively on all 17 (though those writings are simply for Johnna's self-reflection). Sexuality statement time isn't gonna happen this day. The answer seemed obvious for a while, but one or two VI-40-MPs have happened recently that've changed that.

Here we have a woman named Helen Dadswell. She's trans. Helen is from Cramlington, Northumberland (in England), but she currently lives in Grimsby, Lincolnshire (that's also in England). The last time she visited Cramlington was back in 2017. She would like to go there again at some point this decade. A Canadian friend of Helen's looked it up and said 'What do you mean? Isn't it only about a 3 hour drive away? You have a car… you could go there and be back home the same day?', Helen simply told her that if she was going to go there she'd have to stay at least a night. Helen does indeed own a car, a 3-door hatchback made in 2015 that she got secondhand (yes, I have a specific model in mind - no I will not share it). Sexuality statement time, Helen is heterosexual.

Here we have a man named Zhihao Zhu. He's trans. Zhihao's brother has an annoying tendency to try and give him "fashion tips" which mostly amount to saying he should wear a colour other than black. Zhihao ignores this with only mild annoyance, his brother's 2 years older so Zhihao's had an entire life's experience with him. Honestly the only time his brother has ever actually managed to offend him with comments on his stylistic decisions was once with a question that was basically 'Do you do your hair like that to obscure your birthmark?' that upset Zhihao quite a bit and he made it very clear how insensitive it was to say such a thing. To his brother's credit, he did apologise to Zhihao for that one and has never asked such a question ever again. Sexuality statement time, Zhihao is pansexual.

Here we have a man named Delano Krause. He's trans. Delano has an acting credit from a movie back in 1997. The movie was low budget, wasn't very good, his role was a bit part, he didn't get paid very much and his name in the credits is no longer correct, but he did somewhat enjoy the experience (from what he can remember, it's been a while). Sexuality statement time, Delano is gay.

Elves
The Elven Diplomat approached, dressed in the most traditional of Elven garb and flanked on both sides by bodyguards. Their green eyes almost seeming to glow in their head. It was often hard to read an Elf's face due to the lack of eyebrows or ability to smile, but it was clear that this was going to be a long, arduous talk.
(this isn't quite Dwarf Fortress art, there's some DF influence, certainly, but it ay directly DF art)

Here we have a woman named Sangita Parmar. She's trans. Sangita is a script editor. She was at one point a script writer, but has found helping iterate on drafts is more of a fit for her. Sangita always says that that iteration is important, possibly the most important part of prodcution, though Sangita wouldn't say that part of her view out loud, and doubtlessly every member of production thinks the same to some extent. Still one should see some of the first drafts Sangita has seen over the years vs how they turned out. Outside of work matters, Sangita has an extensive collection of striped skirts. Some similar to the one she's currently wearing, others very different and some in pride colours, of course. Sexuality statement time, Sangita is bisexual.

Here we have a woman named Aki Singleton. She's trans. Aki likes early 2010s alt rock, the kind she originally heard back in those years when she was young. Well, she's still quite young, admitidly, 30 in September, but when she was younger than she is now. Back when she stayed in her room in her free time and only really left the house for school and to visit her Grandma Aki (who, indeed, is now her namesake). Sexuality statement time, Aki is a lesbian. I was originally gonna listen t' early 2010s alt rock while drawin' Aki, but I forgot. Also, do you like the pattern? I call it Aki's Pattern, because it was made for Aki.
