Returning from the Void!
Its been quite some time since I've used this blog. I lost the login until just now and am feeling quite nostalgic about this old blog. Recently out of the closet to the people in my life and living on my own, I hope life has treated everyone still around on tumblr well :) . Sorry for ghosting! What a throwback .

Pronoun Dressing Room
Hey there so recently this really nifty website has come to my attention. It’s for when you’re not too sure if a name or set of pronouns feels natural or right for you. This website takes your inputs and generates a story using the name and pronouns. It also gives trigger warnings before you select a story!! I think it’s an awesome idea and can be really helpful to a lot of people!! Here’s the link: http://www.pronouns.failedslacker.com/

So I’m nonbinary and I’m getting my long hair cut super short in less than a month. The problem is my dysphoria has gotten worse and worse and I can’t really ignore it any more. Do you have any tips for long haired peeps that kinda want to forget about their hair until they can get it cut? (Kinda like clear nail polish for not out mtf peeps, but with hair and wanting to be less feminine)
Putting it into a beanie can help and if its not an option during the day, then while you sleep. Keeping it up and away from your face can also help push it to the back of your mind. It can hard to keep focused on the future, but youll soon be comfortable. Please add if theres more advice!

Anyone have binder brand recommendations or tips/tricks? I just came out as non-binary and would love to have a flat chest but I’m nervous! I’ve heard so many horror stories! HELP!
gc2b and underworks are two very well established and safe brands. When it comes to binding, given the risks, safety really is the priority. Never bind for longer than you feel comfortable and the recommended is about 8-10 hours. If anything hurts, take it off for a bit. Listen to your body and I hope all goes well. Please add something if i missed any points!

Hi hello, so, im from spain right, and im 100% into respecting someones pronouns aight, but here we dont have they them pronouns, like in spanish they just, dont exist. The only option is like "ello" but its more like "it", whats your nonbinary opinion? I have never met a spanish nonbinary person so i havent had the chance to ask them :/
Ive seen this problem across many languages, and honestly im not very well informed on the issue as well. If any follower can offer some advice, please share!

what is it called if two nbs are in a relationship? is it just the generic bf/gf? just wondering
People use different terms, like significant others, partners, or really anything they  feel suits the best.

I'm terrified of coming out as nonbinary. The fact that people will label me as trying to "be a special snowflake" makes me feel so... It makes me want to fade from existence. I just want to feel comfortable in my skin. I want people to stop pointing out I'm afab every chance they get. I want a name that makes me happy. But I'm so scared. Every time I get close to saying it my heart races and suddenly I can't breathe. Do you have any advice? –K
Coming out can be absolutely terrifying, but its important to go at your own pace. Maybe come out in small increments at a time, like starting on tumblr and moving to your closest people, and so on. I wish you the best of luck, and if anyone has more advice please feel free to share!

I was just wondering if as an enby, if I am also able to bind my chest... Because I don't identify as a male which means I technically shouldn't have too but I don't feel right with boobs or whatever...
Thats 100% okay!! Expression is much different that identification, do what makes you feel the best

Here’s to all the nb students!
To all who hear the wrong name/pronouns on roll call
To those who have to remind their teachers of their names/pronouns/etc
To all who avoid the bathroom to avoid the dysphoria
To those stressed, tired, and just feeling done with school
To all of my lovely nonbinary pals who are students
You’re valid no matter what happens, I’m so proud of you and I believe in you!! You matter, and school will never dictate your worth!!

GENDER EUPHORIA STORY! I'm supposed to go to a formal even tonight and the Only formalwear I has is feminine as fuck. Usually that's okay because I'm genderfluid but right now? Strongly not feeling it. But my grandmother bought me some floral button-down and a mauve sweater and it feels SO GOOD to wear this with black slacks. It looks weird as hell and I think that's what makes it feel so good. grandmother fashion and queer fashion Are The Same. goodnight everybody
Thats awesome, friend!
