Me: I have some sort of condition where childhood trauma and abuse likely led me to having a headmate/alter. Here is some information on him, since some people were curious.

I'm thinking of deleting this side blog and moving to that one.

The fact that we have to debate whether gender incongruence should be demarcated as a “neurological disorder” is disgusting.

Gender incongruence is not a disorder, disease, illness, condition, etc. It’s literally just a state of being that isn’t inherently harmful. 

To make things worse, the people hellbent on classifying GI as a “disorder” are also hellbent on using their ideology to invalidate trans people that don’t agree with them. 

Gender dysphoria and gender incongruence are NOT the same thing. They aren’t synonymous, nor can they be interchangeable. You do not need a distressing condition to be trans. 

I’m tired of my state of being being debated by people who are not aware of the damage that they are causing. From the attacking, transphobia, to the respectability politics played by a group mostly composed of self-loathing people, it’s all too much.

Ok trendercore transmascs, y'all seem to be getting really pissy about transfems wanting to be included in trendercore, so here's a few tips on how to do it without being a lil bitch:

Stop making it an unsafe place and platforming transmisogynists

Respect trans women

Stop doing that thing where you push trans women out of trans spaces like you did with the trans community as a whole

Be more accepting of non-pretty transfems, most of us aren't sexy big boob-ed beauties slathered in makeup

STOP MAKING TRANSMISOGYNISTIC JOKES AND UPHOLDING TRANSMISOGYNISTIC MEDIA AS "REP"

Maybe, just stop demonising transfem and other amab trans people? Please??

Listen to transfem, you'll learn something

Maybe make some content about transfemenine people? Sylvia Rivera fought for your rights, draw a picture of her or smthn

Or just make more transfemenine ocs, and you could make them not transmisogynistic this time

I've been told to "Go outside" countless times, it always seems to lead back to whoever's saying it just projecting onto me. I'm not the one who doesn't go outside, the ones saying this usually are. I go outside, that's why I met my therapist and that's why I'm more passionate about queer history and literature. Meeting older queer people is inspiring, especially when you don't intend to do it and still run into them. That's also why I know that this "debate" is mainly made up of people younger than 25. Typically. People older than that don't usually know about it, but still hold ideals that are against trumeds. They just haven't labeled it like that because they don't know about all the terminology we continue to create. (which actually creates a sort of language barrier between the ages, and older queer people can sometimes feel left out of our spaces because of it. The same problem exists with older POC feeling left out of our discussions, which is why I want to be willing to explain what the terms I'm using mean)

I know it's not really the fault of trumeds who tell me that. Being 15 and closeted does stop a lot of outside interaction from happening, but nonetheless it's still projecting and it's still incorrect.

Trumeds and anti-mogai regularly twist their idea of our history to make us out to be the bad ones. In reality, the concept of us has existed since the beginning. The idea of us has been fighting since the start, and the idea of what trumeds and anti-mogai believe has been working against us since then too. People who hate gay people that are "too flamboyant". People who hate trans people who are " too non-conforming"....although, trumeds are literally doing that exact thing today. People who hated the art of drag and how we performed gender expression. People who hated those who got violent with our oppressors, threw bricks, and fought the police.

Which is why I especially loathe young, white, transmasc teenage trumeds who try to use the names of black trans women to shame us. Had you been there, you would have hated them as much as you hate us. You would have pushed respectability politics on them just as much as you do us. You're only able to say what you say because you have the advantage of being born in the future of that, where history now shows that they were right and how much they've done for us.

Queer: *is a word that is LARGELY reclaimed by the absolute majority of the community worldwide. Is a word people mainly use for themselves, knowing others might not have reclaimed it. Is a word that is commonly found in academia, scientific literature, art, history, etc. but isn't forcefully applied to all people because it doesn't fit everyone*

Trumeds: *Share a TERF comic, - filled with misinformation and strawmen for the word queer, who uses it, and why it is used - around stick it to those Evil Tucutes(tm) and also make sure to add "I'm trans" to their post as if that make it better that they're spreading around a comic made by a TERF. Continue sharing said TERF comic usually not because the word queer is legitimately upsetting to them, but because it encompasses identities they hate and want to get rid of and ignore.*
