OK i know you made that post about barbara's burst a year ago but idc so

Hoyoverse originally wanted barbara to be a 5 star but feeling like the players needed an accessible healer early game instead made her a 4 star but never bothered to change the animation so thats why she has a 5 star animation despite being a 4 star

THAT makes so much sense now dkjdjdjd

I’ve always been confused abt it since starting the game-

ig they also didn’t adjust too much of Barbara’s 5* stats considering her charge attacks are surprisingly strong for s character meant to be a healer (I say this as a DPS Barbara main ofc)

I’m glad they didn’t bother to change her ult anyway- it’s just so cute! ✨

I decided to just have fun with this and took some creative liberties with how I illustrated the dialogue hehe- I really wanted to push the chaotic/erratic aspect of their dialogue and after a bit of trial and error, I found what kinda works for me!

Inspector Hosonaga- you TB riddled man- is so fun to interact with. I love that he’s an inspector but just undercover (No spoilers I just finished chapter 2) and he’s just a genuinely nice guy so far

The Madness of Elation

Aha and just the Elation path in general is so fun to think about for me shdkasdh- They're so kooky and erratic, and I know they're the kind of people who would cause chaos just for the heck of it. Even so, an air of danger always follows them, they won't care who they hurt or the consequences of their actions in pursuit of a good joke.

Even in just a simulation, we get overloaded with erratic thoughts as we take a glimpse into their mind.

So there you have it. The train has arrived and it’s only a matter of time. The prisoners have disappeared, through twenty inches of solid steel and fifty heavily armed guards. They were right. I’ve chartered a small ship, and as soon as I’ve finished this bottle I’m setting off for the Hoddmimis mining colony far from the Yggdrasil system. I’m not stopping there. DP AU idea:

Au where Danny thinks at first that he has ice core, but he doesn’t.

Danny has a void core.

Danny’s core is the space between stars, the freezing nothingness and empty blackness of a vacuum. In the chaos and light of the universe he is absolute stillness.

This of course, manifests at first as ice. After all, it’s a freezing cold that surrounds him. The ice is supernaturally cold, even. Rather than melt the longer he leaves it somewhere the more heat it absorbs. He has to will it to disappear or it will simply continue to take, and take, and take; until even the core of the earth itself is turned cold. His friends take to carrying around jackets, at first light, then heavier and heavier, until they keep parkas nearby even in the summer.

But that’s not all.

Sound doesn’t work right around him. Sometimes when you speak, he’s the only one that hears you. You don’t even hear the sound of your own voice humming in your head, but he replied so surely you spoke?

Light bends toward him in an unnatural and chilling way. He does not so much control the shadows as he does absorb the brightness in an all-consuming depth.

Sometimes it hurts, to be near him. Gravity acts strangely. So much so that even the ghosts, for all they can defy and ignore such a thing, take notice. Its hard to say just what it is that he does to it. Does he pull you in? Push you away? Sometimes it feels as though you’re being pulled in every direction, the immense pressure (or rather, the lack of) debilitating, disorienting, and eventually destroying what it captures.

And of course, of course this bright boy who died and was reborn in all the ways that mattered would become something so devastating, so isolating. Of course a boy in love with the stars would be forced to become everything but.

Some would say it’s a form of destiny. After all, who else could reign over the realm of death, but one who was made to be everything opposite of life?

CHAOS!!

Amity Park residents claim to have seen local ghostly hero Phantom in a cape and crown just a few hours ago when a ghost began to demand an audience with a king! Residents say the cape and crown quickly disappeared when Phantom noticed people had begun to crowd around and flew with the ghost in the opposite direction.
