Simple?:
If I give my self to you and you break it, my self will be gone.
If I don’t give myself to you, I “haven’t learned to open up fully”
If I give my self to you and you nurture it, my self will solidify.
If I give myself to me and I break it, I must regain trust
If I give myself to me and I nurture it, myself will expand

Is too much compassion bad?
Be careful that the compassion given, won’t compromise your boundaries and needs.

Christ says on the Sermon on the Mount “Those who are poor in spirit are blessed”
“The question is what does that mean.. and it means something like, those who have been brought low enough, to be humble enough, to be ready to receive”
- Jordan Peterson

“You seem able to forget yourself. That’s the way you dance and you walk in the street that way too. You seem at home wherever you are.”

Today I learned about the Sanskrit word called Anima, meaning the ability to make yourself bigger or smaller. I have often thought of this idea when contemplating how I saw myself when I was filled with fear about the world, small, versus how I started to view myself in the world when I started to take risks and try uncomfortable things despite my fear, big. We are all just players in this game of life. Nothing is so serious that we shouldn’t try because magic doesn’t necessarily manifest from success but instead the self respect we build as a result of trying to become successful.

People will tell you who they are and they will show you but before all the pain and the drama, they will tell you. It is in your best interest to listen.

God is our Santa Claus. We don’t know if he’s real or not, but doesn’t it feel good to believe? The sense of magic and wonderment. Why would you want to rid yourself of that until you die, only to start believing in the afterlife?

For anyone who has felt the need for validation from others, in my case.. a man. When you have come to the point in your journey where you have earned your self respect, it is now time to harness your power. Don’t worry too much about what social media has to say about “masculine energy”. It is now time to make your mark in the world and attract the attention that you have worked so hard for. Please understand that when I say attract attention I mean letting the positive qualities that you posses shine through for the world to see. You are a powerhouse just waiting to emerge.
Practice: Make eye contact with as many people as you can throughout the day. Smile because you are aware of the innate power that you possess to love, to set boundaries, to work tirelessly until you reach your goals. No longer will you be intimated by the need for attention because you will no longer need it but simply attract it. It is time for the world to recognize your power.
