The Girl in the Grove

The wind carried the scent of pine and ash through Wild Haven. The sun filtered in slants through the thick canopy above, dappling the earth in gold and green. A quiet morning—until Serenade heard the sound.

Not animal. Not wind.

Footsteps.

He was the first to find her.

A girl—barefoot, wide-eyed, blinking like she hadn’t seen light in years. Her hands were trembling. Her dress—bright once, now torn and dusted with forest debris—clung to her like a memory. She looked at him as if he held the answers she couldn’t remember.

Serenade approached carefully, his guitar slung across his back. “Hola,” he said gently, “are you lost?”

Her voice cracked like dried petals. “I… I don’t know.”

Behind him, footsteps crunched—Pathfinder, with Wildfire close behind, and Glacier trailing like a ghost in the morning fog.

“Is…she’s like us,” Pathfinder said quietly, eyes narrowing. “Look at her—lost. Disoriented.”

“Another stray,” Wildfire muttered, crossing his arms. “She doesn’t even have a name tag.”

The girl turned her head toward them, panic flitting across her face. “I… I can’t remember anything. My name. My family. Just… colors. Music. And butterflies.”

That last word landed softly, like a note hanging in the air.

Serenade stepped forward. “Then let’s give you something to hold onto.”

She looked at him, blinking.

He smiled gently, brushing a lock of her hair from her face.

“Mariposa,” he said. “It means butterfly. Would you like that to be your name?”

Her lip trembled. Then slowly, she nodded.

“Mariposa,” she whispered. “Yes. That feels… right.”

Glacier stepped forward silently and offered his cloak, draping it over her shoulders with care. Pathfinder gave her a small nod of welcome, while Wildfire shrugged, muttering, “Guess we’ve got another mystery.”

Serenade strummed his guitar once, the sound soft and warm. “Every song starts somewhere, Mariposa. Welcome to Wild Haven.”

This is the Arcane Riders Au!

An Au where Bellroc gets reincarnated in the How to Train Your Dragon World as a punishment.

This Au takes place right after Bellroc’s death in Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans.

Right after Bellroc died, they awakened to a dark empty space, floating in place. Right to them were their siblings or what were their siblings, their eyes were black and empty, their faces looked like they were screaming and their bodies were covered vines and ice. They look at them in shock and confusion, they then look at their own body, noticing a huge slash across.

They tried to speak but… nothing happened.

They tried to move but… nothing happened.

They tried to do anything, anything at all but…………

Nothing Happ—

They suddenly feel a presence behind them. They are suddenly forced to turn around and look up to see two glowing white eyes staring back. They never felt FEAR before, well they did once after they were blinded. The eyes were staring at them, intensely like a parent scolding a child. It was strangely familiar. “What have you done!” Wh-what?! What did they do?!

“I hope you’re proud of yourself, not only Nari and Skrael are hurt? because of your actions, but you also manage to create alternate timeline!” Wait… what Nari and Skrael… alternate timeline?

“I can’t believe that you would do that! What’s Promos going to say about this?!” Wh-who’s Promos? They start to hear ticking around them.

“Nari and I tried to help you as much as we could but you don’t even listen!” Wh-wh-what’s going on I feel lightheaded… They tried to make out what the voice was saying but it was the last words they heard before everything went white.

“I’m sorry but I have no choice, I have to protect you and the others… Goodbye and I’m sorry.”

Steadfast: (raising his hand, attempting to calm the situation) "Relax. We're not here to fight, we need your help."

His voice is firm but steady, trying to keep the peace, though the tension between them is palpable. The others are uneasy, fingers hovering over weapons or ready to spring into action at any moment.

Pathfinder: (with a raised eyebrow, his arms crossed) "Even though literally every time we talk to you, you double-cross us, kidnap us, or threaten to destroy everything we love!"

He looks back at Sunbeam, Ironheart, and Serenade, pulling them closer to him protectively, clearly unwilling to trust the situation.

Chimera: (smirking, stepping forward with a challenging stance) "Maybe we are here for a fight!"

She’s clearly itching for a confrontation, her eyes narrowed and a mischievous grin playing on her lips, her posture tense and ready for action.

Steadfast: (glaring at Chimera, frustrated but trying to remain calm for the sake of the group) "Guys! Please."
