I had a dream last night where Castiel’s true form was a star touched elf like Aaravos (from the dragon prince, highly recommend btw). Now I need someone to draw a star touched elf Castiel. Maybe with galaxy wings and a rotating crown of animal faces. I dunno. Would be awesome though! Add a tiny Dean speck for bonus points.

I do enjoy Dean getting initially twitchy and weird over fake dating Cas for a case and being super awkward with it BUT I also love the idea(and actually find it to be a bit more canon) of him immediately falling into the role perfectly and Cas being the awkward one. Because Deans a romantic at heart and if he’s gonna play a role he’s gonna play it. He goes full romcom. Pet names just rolling off the tongue and pda becomes instant second nature. He’s slapping his ass and slipping his arm around his waist while Cas is stiff as a statue. He manually puts Cas’ hand into his back pocket while they’re walking like “cmon man we gotta sell it!” He plants a kiss on wide eyed Cas’ cheek and manages to not blush until he’s rounded the corner while Cas bluescreens. Hes got their hands intertwined every chance he gets. Cas eventually catches up and when hes the one to initiate that’s when Dean loses every bit of cool he had. Cas calls him pet names and he instantly chokes on his own tongue. Cas slides his hand into Deans back pocket like he told him to and Dean almost jumps out of his skin. Cas kisses him and you can almost see the smoke pouring out of his ears. He can dish it out but he can’t take it

Sounds legit

wholeheartedly believe that the first time dean drops the L word on cas, he’s scared and desperate and angry, and as he’s yelling at/pleading with cas (same thing to dean), “you’re the love of my life” just slips out. and dean doesn’t even think about it, because it’s just an obviously true fact to him.

meanwhile cas is totally blindsided making dial up noises and having his entire understanding of the world rewritten in an instant

Anyone ever just think about how easy it would have been for the show to put Demon Dean in bed with some girls AND boys. Crowley would wander in and Dean’d be like “What? I don’t discriminate” and Crowley would roll his eyes FULL WELL knowing that undemonized Dean would be having a full blown panic attack. But Demon Dean’s just living his best life. They could have done this. It would have been no big deal and Dean could safely have come out as Bi and they wouldn’t have had to make a big thing about it. The big thing they were too scared of trying anyway. And Castiel’s confession would have been so much sadder with the audience knowing this tidbit. Anyways. Just a thought.
