Me: Hades, I got a new job and I'm absolutely terrified. Pls help.
Hades: You may be worried about finances, but you made a wise decision (7 of graves) However you don't trust yourself enough (2 of ravens) to allow change (death).
----
Basically, I'm doubting myself even though I did what's best. Imma be making 3$/hour more than I did at Joann's (craft store that went out of business... I worked there almost 3 years) and I'm going to have more hours. I did good and I'm still doubting my success.

Gfdi I meant to post this here. Appreciate my stupidity I guess lmfao

Don't mind the hand censorship. That's personal between me and Prometheus but I thought people might enjoy

In my practice, I'm claiming the Ace of Wands to be Prometheus's card.
Reasoning under cut...

This is just very much his personality and what he gave to the world.
Not to mention, that card in the app and the card I drew from the Wild Unknown Tarot have firery themes (the background colors in wu and the literal fire atop the wand in the picture above.)

Finally, according to my learner's deck, its element is literally fire.

Like this is literally just a Prometheus card. It's got his name written all over it and it's exactly the kind of motivation I needed at the moment.

Note about this post! These aren’t all the spring flowers, just the ones I have more knowledge about and personal experience with. This list is mostly based on my own interpretation and how I’ve come to associate certain flowers with specific deities throughout my journey as a pagan witch. I’m aware there are many other deities connected to flowers, but these are the ones that came to mind while I was taking notes. I also want to mention that color is probably one of the most important aspects when it comes to associating flowers with deities. For example, Lady Athena is connected with all white flowers, Lady Aphrodite with pink ones, and Dionysus with any purple flower. Elements also play a role, flowers carry elemental energy that can deepen their symbolism or connection to a deity. There are goddesses from different religions who are patrons of flowers and vegetation, like Flora, Chloris, and others, and they’re basically associated with all flowers, so I didn’t include them here since it felt kind of obvious. Whether a flower is traditionally associated with a deity or not, I just want to say, flowers make beautiful offerings, and your deities will absolutely appreciate any plant you choose to give them :D

I realized that I asked Prometheus for advice. I didn't ask for practical or reasonable advice...
So he told me to make more reckless decisions to get the job done at all costs.....
We mayyyyyyy have taken our Adderall, B12, Methylpholate, an entire Monster Java Mean Bean, and half a Tweaker energy shot...... We got a significant bit of our schoolwork done though.....

Also, it doesn't have to be ritualistic. It can be something that's special to you. Your god(s) will appreciate it.
I have a lego dinosaur skeleton that I have on Hades's altar...
What is the most interesting thing you did as an offering?

Thank you Hades, Nyx, and Prometheus for helping me get through this homework.
We're halfway done.
Hades and Nyx with the grounding. Prometheus with the invigoration and just longing to learn. Thanks, guys.

Saving this for later
Sources to learn about Hades
I’ve meaning to make this post for a while- the truth is that there aren’t a lot of books written exclusively about Hades so you either have you search for articles or read a book about all the chthonic gods to find information about Him. I’ve compiled all of the sources that I’ve found useful and I’ll keep adding more
“Hades: Cornucopia, fertility and death” by Diana Burton (Victoria University of Wellington)
“Worshipping Hades: Myth and Cult in Elis and Triphylla” by Diana Burton (Victoria University of Wellington)
“The Bride of Hades” by H. J. Rose (The University of Chicago Press)
please reply if you have a favorite book/article/documentary about Hades and I’ll keep updating this 🎉

Anyone know a good community for NON reconstructionist hellenic practices? I was on the hellenism sub reddit but it's slowly becoming more and more reconstructionist only and I was told I do it "wrong" because I say I work with my gods instead of worship them???????
Like bro, I have SEVERE religious trauma from my days as various forms of Christian. It's a word. Why does it matter? I know what my relationship with the gods are. They know what my relationship with them are. So kindly fuck off.
Needless to say, I am no longer in that sub reddit.

So, I've asked what each of the gods I worship/work with what they want me to work on. They're different but they fit together like puzzle pieces honestly. (Worship still has negative connotations with me that I'm working to dispel)
Hades wants me to work on leading with wisdom, specifically in balancing rest with action.
Nyx wants me to embrace change and let go of things, but be careful of reckless impulsive energy.
Prometheus wants me to recognize when to push and when to fall back. He wants me to approach challenges with curiosity and ambition. He wants me to not act recklessly, but push for individuality and be ambitious.
They all want me to take care of myself and rest when I need to, letting go of some things for the benefit of my mental health. But I can't just act recklessly and drop everything because I feel a little off. I need to approach the problem with creativity and wisdom, knowing when it's something I can push for and when it's something that will only hurt me.
Thanks, guys. I love working with you. Because holy hell I need to work on all this.
I just love how well they all fit together into one big lesson, just different aspects of it from different teachers who specialize in those aspects.

I FORGOT TO POST OUR MINI ALTARS!!!
I want to redo Hades's and Nyx's, but here's our boy Prometheus's altar! I don't have the space to make a full sized altar for him YET because I don't want to shrink the space I have dedicated to Hades or Nyx, so this will have to do for now...
(Pictures are large. They were taken on my phone and I forgot to crop and am too lazy to do so now...)
So sleek~ So minimal~
Also, those are normal sized sticky notes, so it's small too.
Then BAM
And the fabric pulls out as a make-shift altar cloth (It's glued down in the tin as well so I don't lose it............ but that will make cleaning it a bit tougher..... old school washing.)

Heyyyyyyy I work with Hades and Nyx.
Both are kind of parental in relationship with me, Nyx being the soothing mother, and Hades being the protective father who is not afraid to let you make mistakes but won't let you get hurt too bad. Nyx has a tendency to sandwich hard truths in softer blows but Hades is not afraid to hurt your feelings if needed.
Also, Hades gets frustrated when I buy expensive stuff for his altar. I think it's because I'm not well off and he thinks I should save it for important things, but I can't know for sure.
Anyway, these are like 1000000% personal experience, but I hope it helps!!!
Hello Dreamers!
A bit of a switch around, but today, I’m asking you guys a question (kind of). Mainly to those who worship Chthonic deities; I would love to hear about your experiences with Chthonic deities or any information you have on them! There are specific deities I will list below (mainly because they are ones I’d like to know more on) but feel absolutely free to talk about any Chthonic deity you please!
[you don’t have to answer all of them! Any will help!]
👑 Resources on / experiences with King Hades and His worship
👻 Resources on / experiences with Melinoë and Her worship
🪨 Resources on Chthonic worship in general
💫 Resources on / experiences with Nyx and Her worship
🖤 Resources on / experiences with Erebos and His worship
Answers with links / names of books, media, etc. that you got the information from are appreciated - but if you can’t or don’t remember, that’s totally fine!
Answers that are UPG / personal experience, are 100% welcome! However, if they are - please tag it as such!!
Sweet dreams 💙

We work with three Greek gods (they overlap in certain aspects or how they present so it's not actually that difficult), and Zuri (We're a DID system) works with Dionysus, so having multiple shelves would be fantastic and is something we've thought about, honestly. My ancestors, at least the ones I've heard about aren't all that great but those who have passed that I revere would also earl a place on the shelf, I think.
Eventually I think I'd like about four different altars. One for the gods, one for the ancestors, and one for the local spirits. I'm also debating on having one for those who aren't ancestors, but that I hold in high esteem or respect. I'm thinking like Bob Ross, Steve Irwin, Mr. Rogers, Laika, and maybe a few others.
