Red-figure vase-painting of Nyx, Selene, Hesperus, 4th century BC.
The gods of the night - Nyx, Hesperus and Selene - are traveling across the sky. Nyx, goddess of the night, leads the procession with her arm raised. She is followed by Hesperus, god of the evening star, who is depicted as a head surrounded by the shining halo of his star. Selene, goddess of the moon, appears last, seated on a horse in a side saddle, her fluttering garment forming the shape of a crescent moon.

I feel so happy and so so grateful right now. I can't express in words how happy I am, you know when you feel like you could explode of how happy you are? That's me. I am starting a whole new chapter I'm my practice, it's very clear to me me that the path I was supposed to walk ended and now a new one is starting, and I'm so thankful because I learned so much - and I will learn even more in the future - and... I just have this hunger for knowledge, and to really just know. About everything.
I'm happy that my deities are here, I'm happy new arrived here - hello Apollo and dragons 🫶🏻 - and... I'm grateful, I prayed and was asked and I have so many things to share here, places I went I'm the astral that I want to tell, things I learned and I think will be helpful.
But this is all to say: thank you, Hades, Nyx, Selene, Apollo and dragons. For be here, for help me, for teaching me. I truly love you all. Thank you, so much.

Prayer to Nyx
Nyx, Goddess of the Night, darkness abounds with you.
While we sleep, you watch over us, a motherly presence coaxing us into a peaceful slumber.
I honor you.
Nyx, Dark and Ruinous, your power is fearsome and commanding.
Humans and Gods alike bow to you, oh great and mighty Goddess.
I honor you.
Nyx, Holy and Divine, your role in our world of most importance.
Your love, what we long and pray for. Your kindness reflected in the starry night sky.
I honor you.
Thank you, Nyx. I honor and praise you.

To My Universe: A Message from Nyx
"I can see that your heart is hurting With a bitter loneliness that reverberates Through your body, heart, and soul. But heed this, my twinkling star, You are loved and you are whole. Oh, sweet moonlight, please know that My hands are on your shoulders, A sweet kiss upon your brow, And I am whispering loving praise Into your ears right now. Please open up your eyes, Gaze into the comfort of night. Please open up your heart And let my endless love inside. My dearest universe, it is time to restart. Now open up your ears And heed these words of mine: You are my child, in kind, And I banish the loneliness That lurks inside your mind.”

Hymn to the Night
Night, parent goddess, source of sweet repose, from whom at first both Gods and men arose, Hear, blessed Kypris, deck'd with starry light, in sleep's deep silence dwelling Ebon night! [1]
Night - undefined Night - mystery Night - the World's Lover!
As you gave birth The Distinct was born And the Universe was filled with colours.
And as I stare into your abysmal eyes Resting in your embrace Feeling your black wings around me I see - Your Void is a mirror.
Mother Night, may I always remember: I have Infinity Dwelling within me.

do you think sharing altars is ok if each deity has a designated spot? i live in a tiny studio (barely 350 square ft) and don’t have a lot of space :( i don’t want to upset my deities but have yet to be able to form a clear communicative path with them - i don’t really know what they’re saying to me yet, i just feel called to them/connected to them.
my main three are hekate, nyx, and anubis. recently i feel as though aphrodite has been sending me signs, but i want to finish setting up my altars and offerings as well as establishing real relationships with the other deities before i approach another.
these three called to me only several months into my craft. each called for a specific reason - death work and trauma, exploring my beliefs about paganism, and dream work.
nyx and anubis have such a warm vibe to them. i feel like that’s the opposite of what most people say (about anubis, at least). but they know the shit life has dealt me and want to help and to guide me through working through it. they give off parent vibes - or maybe a cool aunt and uncle who want the best for you. either way, when i learned of them, it felt similar to coming home. but they are also stern, they know what’s best and won’t take any shit or excuses.
hekate is a little more guarded with me. we both understand that religious trauma is a roadblock i am processing and it’s something we will work together on. hekate and i’s relationship feels like a little like a therapist lol. i think she’s been sending me signs that this is just a step in my journey into paganism, and that she’s glad to aid me through it.
sorry for my rambling teehee.

So i recently found out that both Nyx and Persephone want to work with me but I'm worried they don't like that I'm working with both of them after a tarot read. Do you have any advice? I'm new to deity work
I’m not sure what tarot read you specifically did or what it said but it’s important to note two things.
1. Remember your journey is yours. That means that while a deity can offer/recommend/ask something, you have the capability of denying the request. Your “no” still means something.
2. I often find it silly when people imply certain deities in mythos cannot be worshipped together, especially with Hellenic deities. Many had spaces of worship together for more than one deity even if they had disputes in their mythos.
The only times I have ever specifically not worked with a deity is when they are named as like mortal enemies. (AKA for obvious reasons, Jörmungandr gave me a pretty explicit “no” when I brought up Thor.) Even then, there are those who simply separate the altars to be away from one another in this case.
Otherwise, do as you will and consider why you want to work with either deity. Again, I don’t have the context as to what your spread stated but it may be not an issue between them but moreso an issue with your capabilities as a practitioner. Not in a bad way but that maybe you cannot devote energy to both which is why there is an issue.

today I went out with my friend. we bought some food and whatnot, and I made my first official offering to nyx by sharing my food with her !! I felt absolutely wonderful doing so, and we were safe and looked after the entire time. I thank you nyx, bringer of darkness, mother of the night, for protecting me and my friend during our time out together and sending us symbols. I am grateful for your protection, and I hope you will continue to keep me safe. ps, I hope you enjoyed the cake; I bought it with you in mind.

I live far away from college (like, in another city) so I have to wake up ate 3:50a.m to be there at 7:00, because of this I don't have time for a morning routine anymore - was my time to connect with my deities - so I was thinking of little things I can do to be close to them. Here is what I thought:
• Give good morning to them
• Do a whisper pray when I'm leaving home (this one I do for Nyx and Hades, so I thought do another one for Selene and Persephone when i arrive at the bus)
• I always buy a coffee when I arrive at college so thank to them (and invite to share if they want to c: )
• I used to do yoga and dedicate to Selene (long time ago when I was working in take care of my feminine energy + health - beginning of my recovery from my eating disorder) and I think it's a good ideia to do at night and each day I put a intention to do for each deity, so I dedicate that energy to them.
• Use the crystals they like
•Read (Hades and Persephone likes a lot)
• Drawing (Hades)
•Painting (Persephone)
•Write (diary, poems, texts) for Selene
•Study about protection and protect myself (Nyx)
•Talk to them before sleep
There are many many many more, but this are the one I thought was better. Hope this helps a little, balance life and spirituality sometimes it's hard, and I don't like when I feel "disconnected" from them - even tho I KNOW I'm not, they said that they are always here but it's a annoying feeling lol.
Oh!!!! I try to do something every phase of the moon, and sometimes I ask for their help too.
