Been doing my best to keep up with the Inktober Prompts for the items this month- but I’ll have to take a short break. I’ve gotten very busy IRL!

But rest assured- this break won’t last forever!

⭐ New Item!

Frostblast Globe - Rare, Wondrous Item. Single Use. A hefty glass ball filled with swirling blue and white energy. Its exterior is always coated in a thin layer of frost. As an action, you can throw the Frostblast Globe anywhere within 90 ft. Each creature in a 20-foot-radius sphere centered on that point must make a Constitution saving throw. A target takes 8d6 Cold damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. All terrain within the radius becomes difficult terrain as it’s covered in a layer of thick, slippery ice. A creature killed by this spell becomes a frozen statue until it thaws.

Apron of Gluttony- Rare, Wondrous Item. Requires proficiency in Cook’s Utensils. An apron decorated with embroidery depicting a fantastical harvest feast. It smells of fresh baked goods and stale blood. When worn, this apron provides advantage on all rolls that use Cook’s Utensils. Additionally, any food created by you during a long rest provides 2d12 Temporary Hit Points. These hit points last until your next short or long rest. Blood Feast. You can used the apron to cast the spell Create Food and Water. This ability only recharges when you kill a beast, a humanoid, a giant, or a monstrosity while wearing the apron. Cursed. Once used, you must consume 1d4+1 the amount of food and drink a normal person does to sustain themselves. You experience terrible thirst and hunger panes. For every long rest you don't eat the sustenance required, you gain one point of exhaustion.

Phantom Saddle - Rare, Wondrous Item. Requires Attunement. A saddle made of leather infused with the wispy remains of undead Shadows. When placed on a mount, the saddle provides an increase in its stealth capabilities. When in dim light or darkness, the mount and its rider gains advantage on all stealth rolls. Ride like the Wind. Once per day, the saddle allows you to cast the spell Gaseous Form, turning yourself and your mount into a single cloud of mist. This cloud moves at half the speed of your mount, but otherwise follows the normal limitations of the spell. When the spell wears off, both creatures return to their original forms.

Demonic Figurine - Rare, Wondrous Item A black marble figurine, depicting a demon in a seated position. It feels uncomfortably warm to the touch. Once per day, you can use this item to cast the spell Bane on three creatures you can see. The save Charisma Save DC is always a 15. … So Below. When within a 30 ft. Radius of a Divine Figurine- and only then- its power grows. While within this radius, it allows you to cast the spell Flame Strike. This ability cannot be used again until seven dawns have passed.

Divine Figurine - Rare, Wondrous Item. A small white marble figure, depicting an angel in a seated position. It feels pleasantly cool to the touch. Once per day, you can use this item to cast the spell bless on three creatures you can see. This spell can include yourself. As Above… When within a 30 ft. Radius of a Demonic Figurine- and only then- its power grows. While within this radius, it allows you to cast the spell Dawn. This ability cannot be used again until seven days have passed.

⭐ New Item!

Fang of Greed - Very Rare, Dagger. A curved bone dagger with a golden hilt, adorned in the jewels of fallen foes. Deals 1d4 Piercing Damage on a hit. On a hit, target must make a DC 12 Con saving throw. On a success, nothing happens. On a failure, they take 2d8 Poison damage and become poisoned for 1 minute. Hoard. The more wealth its wielder has, the more powerful this weapon becomes. If you have at least 500 GP in your possession, this blade becomes a +1 dagger. If you have at least 5,000 GP, it becomes a +2 dagger. If you have at least 10,000 GP, it becomes a +3 dagger. (This money doesn’t have to be on your person to apply to the bonus.) Cursed. When spending any amount of money, make a DC 15 wisdom saving throw. On a failure, you can’t bear to part with your fortune, and will keep it by any means necessary.

⭐ New Item!

Bastion’s Banner - Wondrous Item, Very Rare. A red and gold banner that is slightly tattered at its edges. When placed at the highest point on a structure (such as a house, a tower, or a castle), all the defenses and entrances within become magically reinforced. These additional protections are lost if the banner is ever removed or destroyed. Reinforced Locks. Whenever a door, window, gate, or similar entryway within the structure is locked, the DC to break it or pick the locks on increases by 10, as per the Arcane Lock spell. Defender’s Honor. Anyone who has slept within the structure that has the Bastion’s Banner gain advantage on their initiative rolls for the next 24 hours, so long as they remain within the structure.

Gust Rider- Armor (Light, Leather), Uncommon. A suit of armor created by a clever gnome who found herself frequently visiting aarakocra settlements. While wearing this suit of armor, you gain a flying speed of 45 ft., but you cannot gain altitude. While gliding, you lose 5 ft. of altitude at the end of each of your turns. Rise. (3/day) You cause gust of wind to blast from underneath, as a bonus action, propelling you 30 ft. Into the air. This can be used while on the ground or in the air, but proves ineffective while submerged in water.

Dragon Spice - Wondrous Item, Uncommon. A bottle of Dragon Spice- a versatile spice that’s popular in Dragonborn Cuisine… Though its heat may bit a bit much for most. Contains 10 uses. This spice can be added to any nonmagical food. Upon consumption, you gain resistance against cold damage for the next hour. Dragon Spice Breath. When there is enough spice for more than one use, you can use an action to consume the entirety of the container. Upon consumption, you gain the effects of the Dragon’s Breath spell without concentration. This will always deal fire damage.

⭐ New Item! Boots of the Wanderer - Wondrous Item, Rare. Requires Attunement. A spiffy pair of leather walking boots, made with traveling long distances in mind. When wearing these boots, you always know where north is, difficult terrain caused by the environment doesn’t affect you, and you gain advantage on all checks involving tracking creatures and survival. Wandering Mists. Three times per day, you can use these boots as a bonus action to cast the spell Misty Step.

⭐ New Item!

Pouch of False Fortune - Uncommon, Wondrous Item. An extravagant pouch rumored to have once been owned by an infamous charlatan. All that Glitters. This large pouch can fit roughly 1 pound of materials within it. Anything contained within the pouch is transformed into 1 pound (roughly 50 gold pieces) of illusory gold coins. These “coins” look and feel like the real deal to the untrained eye, requiring a DC 16 investigation check to uncover their true nature, whatever it may be. After these coins have been out of the pouch for 1 hour, the illusion fades away, and the coins revert to their true forms.

⭐ New Item! Hood of the Jackalope - Wondrous Item, Uncommon. Requires Attunement. A hood made from the furs and antlers of jackalopes. While wearing this hood, you gain a +10 to your movement speed and your speed isn’t reduced if you’re encumbered or wearing heavy armor. In addition, you can jump three times the normal distance, though you can’t jump farther than your remaining movement will allow. Charge. If you move at least 30 ft. towards a target and hit it with a melee weapon attack, the target takes an extra 2d4 bludgeoning damage.

Croaking Horn - Wondrous Item, Uncommon. A horn made of bone, carved in the shape of an ugly toad. Vile Croak (1/day). As an action, you blow into the horn, making a croaking bellow that can be heard out to 300 ft. All creatures in a 30 ft. Radius of the horn must make a Constitution Saving Throw (DC 14). On a fail, acid-filled growths begin forming on the creature’s body, expanding until they burst. This deals 4d4 acid damage. On consecutive turns, these creatures must repeat the saving throw, and are dealt an additional 2d4 acid damage for every fail. This effect persists until the saving throw is made.

Purifying Honey Dripper - Wondrous Item, Common. A carefully crafted honey wand with images of bees carved into its handle, contained within a simple glass jar. It never seems to run out of honey. Purify. As an action, you can cast the spell Purify Food and Drink. This is flavored as you drizzling the honey made by this wand on (or in) any nonmagical food or drink.

Golden Tongue - Potion, Very Rare. A small bottle filled with a potion that resembles liquid gold. This bottle contains 1d4+1 drops. As an action, you consume a single drop of this potion. Upon consumption, you gain a +5 to all Persuasion checks for the next hour. Risk and Reward. If there is more than one drop in the bottle, you can consume the whole potion as an action. Roll a Con Save (DC 18). On a fail, you turn into a golden statue, as per the petrification condition. On a success, you permanently gain a +5 to all persuasion checks.

Map of Mists - Wondrous Item, Rare. A map that- when unrolled- always depicts the nearby area as it appears in the Ethereal plane. Ethereal Guidance (1/day). As an action, you allow the map to provide further information on what can be found in the Ethereal plane. Marks appear on the map, moving in real time with creatures within the Ethereal Plane. This effect lasts 8 hours.
