The Kazekage Clan Tempers Headcanon

This was part of my Shikadai AU headcanon when Shikadai, despite being a Nara completely shocked people for having a temper - something most people don't expect because Nara men tend to be calm. So, a Nara with a temper became one of Shikadai's reputation.

Then Shikadai asked his mother and uncles about it because having terrifying tempers don't run in his father's family (with the exception of the women like his grandma).

Then learned that Temari is more of explosive temper. "Say good bye to your head!"

Shinki will just stare at the offender, leave, then ambush them later or stare at them and punch them on the face. Iron sand not included.

Kankuro is a mixed of "You're dead!" and beat the crap out of people to "I will give you a terrifying smile, hinting that I will come to get you and let you stew psychologically for how long possible because you know I am going to jump on you but only attack when you feel you are safe - preferably poison."

Gaara: "Oh I used to just crush people's bones and murder them."

Shikadai: ????

Gaara: Now I just let them stew until I explode and destroy a country or bury them alive. Whichever choice they want.

Shikadai: *crickets*

Shikamaru: *Face palm.*

Shikadai realizing his temper outbursts is still calmer compared to them.

Headcanon about Shikadai

Like we all know Shikadai looks like his dad with the exception of his eyes, and he does seem to have similar complexion towards his mom but other than that, he tries his best to imbue the personality characterized by a Nara.

He is, after all, the heir to the Nara clan (while also being the heir to the Kazekage clan). And he tried his best to follow into their narrative: being lazy, smart, cool, calm, and so on.

The series did show that Shikadai did struggle a little bit with his identity as the heir and future clan leader of the Nara clan. He is more adept to Wind jutsu like his mother and he is also more expressive and more emotional like his mother. Hell, Shikadai has both his dad's intelligence in planned strategies and his on-the-go tactical strategies like his mother.

But can you imagine if Shikadai was like trying his best to act all cool, lazy and a lazy-genius aura because it was expected of him and then someone decided to piss him off and out came the legendary Temari temper that it shocked everyone in the village.

Like, "there's a Nara with a temper?"

And Kankuro would be like, "Ah, Temari's temper is with our nephew. I am so proud!"

And now everyone is terrified of a pissed off Shikadai because while he is calm and collective, if you pissed him off, no one is safe.

Boruto learned that the hard way. Hahaha!

The opposite. I play nale characters most of the time. And thats hpw I discovered that male characters are always lacking on skins and other customization but had a lot of power.

Women on the other hand has a lot of customization (many of them so unrealistic and often for the male gaze) but the power levels can vary.
