SakuAtsu AU tw // major character death
"Sakusa Kiyoomi, you'll always be my favorite view."
-
Traditional painter Sakusa Kiyoomi who only paints sceneries and cute animals, actually paints a portrait of someone for once. The reason why he didn't paint portraits of people is because he dislikes them (as obvious as it seems; it has also been years since he last painted a portait of someone).
When he found out that Atsumu's birthday is getting near, Sakusa started doing rough sketches of him and drafting. He worked on this piece for a month and finished a week before Atsumu's birthday.
"I guess it's fine to give him his birthday gift a day early..." Sakusa mutters to himself as he looks at his finished piece, happy with the results of the effort he put in for a month; he's excited to give his gift.
Two days before the birthday, Sakusa talks to Atsumu over the phone, telling him they should meet tomorrow for Sakusa's surprise.
"Omi, are ya watchin' the stars right now?"
"Yeah... the skies are clear tonight, so the view's nice."
"Night sceneries are your favorite, aren't they?"
"Mhmm," Sakusa leans on the window-frame, "I love them. They make me feel calm, and nights are more peaceful than the day."
Atsumu chuckles, "I agree with that, but my favorite view is better."
Sakusa raised a brow, "Yeah?"
"You shoyld ask me, Omi-omi!"
Sakusa rolls his eyes but laughs a little, "You're still so childish 'Tsum."
"Just ask me!"
"Fine," a small smile stays on Sakusa's lips, "What's your favorite view then?"
"It's you."
Moments of silence pass, before Sakusa speaks up again, "...You're not kidding?"
"I'm not, I'm serious."
"'Tsumu."
"Are you flustered right now, Omi-kun?"
"No, I'm not," Sakusa says despite the faint tint of pink spreading on his cheeks, "You always like to joke around like this."
"I told you, I'm not joking this time." Astumu's voice was calm, he's not laughing nor sound like he's smiling.
"...'Tsumu," Of course, Sakusa finds it weird, Atsumu being serious isn't an everyday thing, "Is there something wring?" He also finds it weird how silent Atsumu's background in the call is; there's no usual bantering from his twin in between, nor the sound of glasses clinking.
"'Course I am, Omi! I just miss ya-- since we haven't met in a week now."
Sakusa doesn't fight the smile that shapes his lips, "I miss you, too."
"Geez! Yer makin' my heart flutter too much."
Sakusa laughs softly and Atsumu chuckles, before they fall into silence.
"You should take a rest and sleep, Omi," Atsmu breaks the silence, "We'll see each other tomorrow."
"Okay," Sakusa looks at the waning mooon one last time before walking away from the window, "Good night, 'Tsum. See you tomorrow."
"Good night, Omi," Atsumu says softly, then a long pause before, "...see you."
The next morning comes; Sakusa wakes up to a text from Osamu, telling him that Atsumu can't make it for today's plan and he should come to the address that was attached in the message. What's odd is, Osamu was apologizing. Aside from that, the location attached on the message was a hospital's address.
Sakusa doesn't feel good with this.
The next thing Sakusa knows, he's in a hospital room and someone is crying-- no, not someone else, but he himself is. There's a painful feeling in his chest, certainly his heart stings. The cold tears that that stream down on his cheeks prickle, breath stuck in his throat along with his words.
"Why..." Sakusa turns away from the one who sleeps peacefully for an eternity on the hospital bed, from Atsumu, to face Osamu, "Why didn't any of you tell me?"
His voice trembles and cracks, a harsh breath after. Osamu flinches, seeing how Sakusa looks so hurt, and betrayed.
"How could I?" Osamu snaps, tears form on the corner of his eyes once again, "If you could've seen his face when he asked me not to tell you, how could I?"
Sakusa shuts his mouth, Osamu clenches his fists, "That was what he wanted... to spend the rest of his days ordinarily."
Osamu must be having it worse, Sakusa thought; Watching his own brother spend the rest of his days ordinarily and not being able to do anything-- he can't imagine how painful it must be.
Sakusa looks at Atsumu, who lays on the bed with a peaceful look on his face. Pain grows even more with the thought of not being able to see him smile again, and knowing that they won't ever see Atsumu open his eyes again.
"...Since when?"
"Four years ago," Osamu also looks at his brother.
"And we only met a year ago..."
"He knew you even before that," Osamu wipes his tears with the sleeve of his shirt, "He wouldn't stop talking about how he finds you pretty."
Osamu picks up of what Sakusa thinks a photo album from the table beside, "...He wanted to give this to you."
Sakusa accepts, but he doesn't open the photo albun, afraid of what the contents of it could be; he hugs it close to his chest instead.
"...I'll give you two a moment," Osamu turns to the door, "Just call if you ever need something."
As the door closes with a soft click, Sakusa takes the seat beside the bed, placing the album on his lap as he reacges for Atsumu's hand-- oh how Sakusa hopes to feel the warmth he longs for again --his hands trembling.
Cold. Atsumu's hand is, as Sakusa holds close.
Sakusa brings Atsumu's hand close to his lips, letting out a shaky breath as he looks at the peaceful look on Atsumu's face. Tears gather up again in the corner of his eyes, spilling down continuously onto his cheeks, "'Tsumu..."
He sucks in a sharp breath, there are a lot of things in his mind, questions he wishes to ask but are left unanswered, "Why?"
Sakusa holds onto Atsumu's hand tightly, and swallows a lump in his throat, "When you said we'll see each other today, did you mean it like this?"
Of course, there's no reply; not a teasing "Yer too serious, Omi!" with a laugh at the end-- nothing. Only silence.
That day, Sakusa continues to grieve. Everything seemed to blur, he lets his own feet take him to wherever, and ends up at his atelier.
Vivid memories of the times they spent together in this spacious yet messy room flood in Sakusa's mind; the cozy feeling whenever Astumu visits, the random things they talked about, the sunsets they have watched together, the accidental small touches when their hands or fingers brush each other, the matching mugs that Atsumu brought for them ever since he frequently visited.
It used to be so lonely, until Atsumu persistently welcomed himself here.
But now it's all lonely again, even feels lonelier than before.
-
Two weeks have passed, the burial was done and Sakusa went. He felt numb ever since, he barely went home and spent his nights in his atelier instead. He would find himself spacing out and staring at Atsumu's portrait.
Every time Sakusa realized he was looking, there would be a prickly feeling in his chest, a feeling of wanting to cry yet no tears were shed.
Tonight, Sakusa leans on the window-frame, looking at the night sky that's filled with countless of stars yet none of them shines brighter than Atsumu did.
The wind blows softly, Sakusa closed his eyes, and for a second he could've sworn he heard a gentle whisper of "Omi," or maybe it was from the memories he's holding onto.
Sakus opens his eyes slowly, he couldn't help but hope even just a little that he could see Atsumu again, but the first thing he saw was the photo album.
The photo album that he was given to, sits on Sakusa's wooden easel, the ray of moonlight shining down on it. He still hasn't opened it, he couldn't bring himself to.
"I guess it's time to open it, huh..." Sakusa whispers to himself as he reaches out to get the item, then placing it down on his lap and takes a deep breath.
When he opens the album, Sakusa starts to sniffle. As expected, they were photographs that Atsumu took with Sakusa. Most of the photos had something written (with Atsumu's messy penmanship) below them, the dates of when were the photos taken and short messages and notes.
Even though there were tears, Sakusa couldn't help but laugh at some of the photos and messages. There were random photos, like a fluffy stray cat glaring at Atsumu with a note below, "This cat still doesn't like me.... :(( so I only took a photo of it!"
Sakusa continues to look at the photos and read the notes under them, page by page, until there were only a few pages left. Those few pages were stuffed with Atsumu's unsent love letters for Sakusa.
He skims through the remaining pages, to check if those letters were the only ones left to look at. Sakusa's heart tinged with pain as he reaches the last page.
On the last page, was a photo of Sakusa smiling, and the note below it was written: "It's a shame, I can't admire your beauty until our hair turns gray. But,"
Sakusa doesn't feel numb anymore, emotions surge through his chest as he lets out a sob when he reads the last line:
"Sakusa Kiyoomi, you'll always be my favorite view."
--End.

--SakuAtsu ficlet
Forgetting to bring an umbrella on a rainy day has its pros and cons.
Sakusa and Atsumu stood next to each other, only the sounds of pouring rain meeting the concrete filled the silence between them. They gaze at the grey-clouded skies above, hands tucked in the pockets of their own coats.
Other people of their team left earlier, Hinata and Bokuto having their old team reunions, Meian seeing an old friend, and the others went straight home.
"...The rain isn't letting up soon, I think." Atsumu says with a quick glance to his teammate beside.
"Yeah... it's getting cold," Sakusa paused, staring at the water ripples on the ground caused by rain, before looking at Atsumu from the corner of his eyes, "...My place is close."
Atsumu's mind went blank for a second, what did Sakusa mean by that? He couldn't possibly be inviting him, could he? Hence, Atsumu came up with the conclusion: Sakusa is saying that in courtesy of going home first.
"Then you can go first, Omi-kun," Atsumu lets out a breathy laugh, "Ya don't hafta stay here with me n' wait for the rain ta stop."
Sakusa rolls his eyes with a silent sigh.
"That's not what I mean, you idiot," it might have been from the cold weather or not, but Sakusa's ears flushed bright pink; while Atsumu raised his brows in confusion.
"My place is closer... do you want to warm up there?"
Clearly, there was an attempt by Sakusa trying not to seem shy or awkward. His shoulders hunched in and his gaze no longer on Atsumu.
Atsumu has stopped functioning momentarily, a huh? resonating in his mind for a minute. Sakusa Kiyoomi is, indeed, inviting him. A lot of thoughts surged into Atsumu's mind, like how cute Sakusa is when he's inviting, but he shakes off those thoughts before Sakusa can change his mind.
He can think plenty about it later anyways.
"Sure! But uh... I don't have an umbrella..."
"...I brought mine," of course he did. Sakusa never leaves the house without his purple compact umbrella, "We can share... I guess."
Miya Atsumu thinks, forgetting to bring an umbrella on a rainy day has its pros and cons.

SakuAtsu AU tw // blood !!!
When Atsumu gets curious about something, he’ll think about it almost all the time, until his questions are answered or he gets distracted. Atsumu has noticed, and has wondered ever since then, “Why is Sakusa so pale?”
Atsumu didn’t notice it right away, maybe it started when they got into MSBY at the same time and share a locker room. Sakusa has always been meticulous and clean, adjusting so things don’t get troublesome for him. Whenever Atsumu arrives, Sakusa has already changed into his gym outfit, ready for practice.
Then, one day Atsumu arrived earlier than usual. He got in the locker rooms while Sakusa was changing. He didn’t pay attention at first, but he noticed it from the corner of his eyes.
How pale Sakusa was, making the small constellations of moles on his back and shoulders standout. Not only that, but how Sakusa’s body is well-built.
Atsumu doesn’t say anything, he didn’t pay any mind to it that much, yet something started for sure. A small budding of curiosity, his mind starting to wander off and remember Sakusa’s pale body; it blooms when he starts to shoot glances and pay attention to Sakusa’s appearance, looking closer than before.
He starts to notice even the smallest things. How Sakusa usually wears long sleeves, how he always zips up his jacket until his lips are covered, how Sakusa would always have a small packet of what Atsumu assumes to be tomato juice, and how Sakusa doesn’t open his mouth that much.
The blooming curiosity only grew, whenever he was on a train ride on his way home, when he had nothing better to do, when he lays down on his bed at night. His mind wanders off into thinking about his teammate. And maybe, Atsumu started to find his teammate cute along with it.
Atsumu knows best not to get into Sakusa’s nerves, but he doesn’t stop from exchanging snarky comments and corny jokes with him.
Then there’s this day— Atsumu doesn’t know if it’s fortunate for him or not. They were holding dinner in Bokuto’s apartment, only them, Hinata, and Bokuto. Sakusa and Atsumu were assigned to cook, while Bokuto and Hinata went out to buy snacks.
Atsumu got a cut from cutting a vegetable, he bleeds.
“Ow—!”
The sound of knife clattering as it was dropped onto the chopping board caught Sakusa’s attention.
“Omi, can ya get me a band-aid? I cut myself…”
“…Yeah,” Sakusa was quick to get a band-aid, he steps closer to Atsumu to give it.
“Uh, can ya put it on for me? Ya know, like a caring teammate,” Atsumu still had the gut to add a joke, “but of course, I’m just kidding, Omi!"
”…“ Sakusa stares at him— no, more like stares at Atsumu’s bleeding finger.
"Omi…?”
Sakusa doesn’t say anything, but he takes Atsumu’s hand where he was cut— the first thing Atsumu notices is how Sakusa feels cold —the band-aid was dropped.
The next thing Atsumu feels is a short and sharp pain from his wounded finger, he flinches. His eyes went wide as he realized what happened.
Sakusa is licking the blood from his finger.
Atsumu feels a shiver run down his spine. Before he could ask anything, the sensation of Sakusa’s cold hands and warm tongue shut him up.
Sakusa seems fixated on licking up the warm and red substance from Atsumu’s finger, as if he was craving for it like ice cream.
It was when Sakusa took Atsumu’s finger in his mouth, between his lips, and gently sucked for blood. Atsumu sees it, two sharp teeth— or fangs. They weren’t that long like how fantasy movies portrayed them, it was almost the same size as normal teeth except they were sharp.
“O-Omi?”
Atsumu almost jumped when Sakusa actually looks at him, finger still in mouth. Sakusa’s eyes were growing red, it is pretty, it made Sakusa even more attractive than ever, is what Atsumu thinks.
Sakusa releases Atsumu’s finger from his mouth, a thin string of saliva connecting them for a short moment. Sakusa licks his lips, before placing a hand on the back of Atsumu’s head and pulling him into a kiss.
Atsumu’s eyes went even wider, but with the way Sakusa is kissing him, he melts away. their tongues meet, Atsumu could faintly taste his own blood mixed with Sakusa’s saliva.
When the kiss ended, they were catching their own breaths, and Atsumu finally asks, “So yer a real bat, Omi?”
“A vampire, Miya.”
Turns out what Atsumu saw that Sakusa brings isn’t tomato juice, after all.

Just as how they dance, time seems to have slowed down and stopped. The music softly playing on the background as their slow dancing comes to a halt, standing still as they hold each other in their arms, their foreheads pressed against each other and eyes closed as they softly hum the song playing. Atsumu had wrapped his arms around Sakusa's neck loosely, while Sakusa was gently resting the palm of his hands on Atsumu's waist.
No words were spoken, only the intimacy they have has filled the room. They pull away a little, giving a tiny bit of space between their faces and stare into the other's gleaming eyes.
Their noses barely touch, Atsumu lazily tilts his head slightly and leans in a little, pausing as their lips were merely centimeters apart. Sakusa doesn't pull away, and leans in to connect their lips instead.
The kiss is soft, and chaste. As if they were on cloud nine, fluffy and warm. The music playing blurred out in the moment, as they focus on each other, the kiss, the warmth, the feeling. It's as if they are the only ones that are existing, right now, right at this moment.
Of course, this moment doesn't last forever-- though they would wish it was --the second their lips part from the other, the music comes back to their senses. Sakusa's gaze on Atsumu is soft, so tender and warm; silently telling that he's deeply in love with him, and his heart would stop if Atsumu disappears from his sight.
Atsumu looks at Sakusa the same, tender and warm; telling he was the luckiest and happiest man on earth for having Sakusa.
"I love you," Atsumu softly whispers, lips brushing against Sakusa's, "Omi."
Sakusa pressed his forehead on Atsumu's once again, a soft and small smile tugging on the corner of his lips as he pulls Atsumu closer by the waist. Their lips touch.
"I love you too, 'Tsumu."

Two months, it has been two months since Sakusa and Atsumu got together as lovers. It wasn’t what Sauksa expected, if he could be honest, how dating Miya Atsumu would be like. A big fat jerk, spitting out snarky comments and making the worst jokes that barely made Sakusa laugh, turns out to be someone caring and sweet. Atsumu never made fun nor pushed Sakusa’s boundaries, he respected them and even changed a few of his habits for Sakusa. He didn’t do anything unpleasant to him, and went with what Sakusa wanted instead.
Atsumu didn’t get pushy with physical contact even if he wanted it himself, because he knows Sakusa wasn’t comfortable enough yet. He would often ask him, “Is this okay?” or “Ya don’t feel uncomfortable, do ya?” whenever they get close and intimate. Sakusa appreciates it, of course. It even makes him feel fuzzy and warm inside, as if feathers were tickling him.
The plan of moving in together is on its way, for sure. Even now, Atsumu barely sleeps in his own dorm anymore, seeming as if he has already moved in to Sakusa's apartment. They spend most of their time together, barely apart from each other. Though, there are still things that Sakusa has yet to get used to on sharing his home with Atsumu— such as doing daily routines together.
One step at a time. Slowly, but surely, they are getting closer to the other. They both know that there's no need to rush. Surely, bit by bit the walls they built on themselves will fade away to let the other in.
"I'm going to take a bath."
Atsumu hums in response, continuing to scroll through his twitter as he was sprawled out on their bed.
"...Do..."
"Yeah?" Atsumu raised his brows, eyes still focused on his phone, finger tapping on the screen.
"...Do you want to get in together?" As the question falls out through Sakusa's lips, Atsumu finally tears his gaze away from his phone, and looks at Sakusa instead.
Sakusa was sitting on the edge of the mattress, his back facing Atsumu and head looking to the side, his black curls cover his left eye, and a faint tint of pink dusts on the tip of his ears.
"Wait— are ya serious?" Atsumu drops his phone and sits up, still looking at Sakusa with wide eyes.
Sakusa's lips twitched, "Why would I ask if I wasn't? If you don't want to, it's fine—"
"I want to!! 'Course I do!" Atsumu quickly gets up from their bed, "Who wouldn't want a date in the tub with Omi?"
Sakusa tries not to, but ends up smilling a little, "It's not really a date, idiot." Atsumu may be an asshole, but he's a loveable one. Sakusa might be too in love with Atsumu that his heart trembles, he’s falling deeper and faster, just like a meteorite falling from the sky.

Atsumu doesn’t know how they turned out like this-- finding his own comfort in Sakusa’s minimalist apartment, sitting next to each other on the couch with a close distance, playing a game of two truths and one lie that’s accompanied with a bottle of whiskey as the night passes. What Astumu does know is, his crush Sakusa Kiyoomi, the one who invited him on drinking in his apartment, has good alcohol tolerance.
“Yer turn to give, Omi-kun,” a faint tint of pink dusts over Astumu’s cheeks; most likely from the alcohol and humid weather, and maybe because of how Sakusa looks hot right next to him. Nope, Atsumu isn’t drunk-- not yet at least. Just a little tipsy, he’s starting to feel warmer, the intoxication running through his veins.
“I like umeboshi, I do the laundry before the dishes,” Sakusa looks at him straight in the eyes, “and I have jerked off thinking about you.”
Atsumu froze on his seat, his mind glitched for a second. He thinks, the third one’s gotta be the lie... right? but then, why would Omi-kun say that for a lie? He hesitates, he vaguely remembers Sakusa’s cleaning routine from when he visits time to time, and the first one was obviously a truth.
“Uh... the third one is the lie, right?” Atsumu tries to laugh like it was just Sakusa joking, but it turned out as an awkward laughter.
“Wrong,” Sakusa says flatly, as if this was a pop quiz, he pours Atsumu another glass of whiskey half full, “The second one is. I do the dishes first always.”
“Oh.” Atsumu’s brain does its best to function properly, the alcohol he drank since earlier not helping-- it only made him think maybe he was now hearing things. Did Omi-kun just...? Usually, Atsumu would’ve thought of a retort or something to just tease Sakusa (which he is planning to do, later because he can’t at the moment), but right now all could Atsumu be is to be flustered, his cheeks flushed from pink to bright red. After a few seconds of not functioning, Atsumu remembers that they’re still in the middle of a game, and he needs to drink another glass.
The ice clinks against the glass, his hand hot against the cold glass, Atsumu downs the drink in one go. Sakusa watches him, eyes intently staring at how Atsumu’s lips kissed the glass, the whiskey goes down his throat. As he sets the glass down on the table, they both stare into each other’s gazes.
“Pfft,” a small smile cracks up on the corner of Sakusa’s lips as he turns to the side. Atsumu sees it, the way this beautiful man's lips curve even just the slightest, the way his adam's apple moved as he lets out a tiny bit of laughter, black curls brushing over his temple, and the faintest of pink coloring warm on his cheeks. Tonight reminds Atsumu just how Sakusa can be so damn hot and beautiful.
Tonight, Atsumu falls deeper with Sakusa.

One of the things that Sakusa Kiyoomi wasn't a fan of is eating food that are mostly made with bare hands of somebody else's. Like onigiri. Their team Black Jackals are often eating the dish— well almost everyone in Japan are, —especially if it's from Onigiri Miya. Atsumu always made sure to tell Osamu to make something else for Sakusa, something that he will agree to eat; one of the reasons being he wants to impress his crush, the best way to a man's heart is through his stomach after all (even though it wasn't Atsumu who actually makes the food lol).
After months of doing his best to capture the too-blunt-jerk's heart, Atsumu has finally succeeded. They got together, went on dates (that Sakusa hates to admit that it was a date), spent time together at home like couples do. Their team often drops by at Onigiri Miya before, and now that Sakusa got together with Atsumu, he's with him there more frequently.
"Wanna eat sum'?" Atsumu always asks Sakusa as a plate of onigiris was set down in front of them on the wooden counter, even though he already knows Sakusa will decline on eating them. Maybe, it was out of courtesy. Maybe, he was hoping just a little, that Sakusa will finally say yes, each time he asks.
Another day at Onigiri Miya, the shop was closed to customers. Sometimes, Atsumu helps Osamu on preparing food, and today is one of those sometimes. Sakusa is seated on his usual spot on the counter, patiently waiting for the brothers (whose bantering can be mostly heard from the kitchen at the back) to finish making food. Him taking off his mask when it's only the three (or four, if Kita is there) of them gives away that he's already comfortable enough around them.
"Want some?" Atsumu asks as usual, setting down a plate of freshly made onigiris on the wooden counter, and sits down beside Sakusa. It's the first time that he doesn't say something like a "no, thanks," without hesitation. Which puzzles Atsumu, who expects an immediate declination from him.
Sakusa furrows his brows, pressing his lips together before parting them to speak, "...Which are the ones you made?"
It caught the twins by surprise, Osamu nearly dropping the onigiri he grabbed, but Atsumu quickly regains composure and grins as he points at the few onigiris he made proudly. Sakusa slowly reaches out to grab one of it, two pairs of eyes watching him. He takes the first bite, chews.
"So, how is it...?" Atsumu asks carefully.
"...It's good."
Atsumu pumps a fist in the air, a triumphant smile on his lips, "I knew it!" He grabs one and takes a bite, "Glad ya like it, Omi!"
"So you won't eat if it's not made by 'Tsumu, huh. Kinda hurts my pride a lil' but it's fine," Osamu laughs before eating.
The smile on Atsumu's face that day made Sakusa's heart squeeze, reminding him how in love he was with an asshole who's also a dork at the same time. Maybe, Sakusa Kiyoomi will eat onigiri (made by Atsumu™) more often from now on.
===
Time passes again, and another day is being spent at Onigiri Miya's day off. The twins came from the kitchen with freshly made food. They sat on their usual seats, Atsumu beside Sakusa and Osamu on the other side of the wooden counter.
"Want some?" Atsumu asks as usual.
"..." Sakusa doesn't say anything but he nods his head once. For the first time, he gets an onigiri without asking "Which one did Atsumu make?"

Sakusa silently snickers and Osamu lets out a burst of laughter beside him. Today is another day, for them to torment atsumu. It was a blur to remember when it started, but it already became their usual "brother-in-law bonding".
For today's method of bullying atsumu, they took a selfie together; Sakusa having his arm on Osamu's shoulders and hand clearly comfortable resting on his shoulder, resulting them being in a close space. Osamu made a kissy face, a small distance from his lips to Sakusa's cheek all the while looking at the camera with a mocking gaze as he took the picture and sent it to Atsumu, who was out on a few errands.
The photo was sent along with a text message saying "on a date with ur boyfriend <3" and as it labeled 'read✅' by Atsumu, they snickered and laughed even more; They could already picture Atsumu's reaction.
Osamu's phone buzzed once, twice, then thrice. three quick messages from his brother, screaming through text.
[idiot twin]: WHAT TJE FUKC SAMU STOP STEALING
[idiot twin]: OMI U TRAITOR WHY?!@#%!
[idiot twin]: JUST WAIT TILL I GET HOME I HATE YALL
They both burst in laughter as they read the replies, on the other hand Atsumu was gripping on his phone with his teeth gritted, wishing he could finish this stupid errand sooner.
"Oh man..." Osamu says with a wheeze, bent over and an arm across his belly, tears in the corner of his eyes. Sakusa was leaning back onto the couch, trying to control his laughter by throwing a hand over his mouth.
"Yer the best, Saku-san..." Osamu sat up as his laughter calmed down a little, a smile on his lips while he wipes the tears in the corner of his eyes. "Couldn't have done this without ya."
"No, it's my pleasure," Sakusa lifts his head to look at Osamu, "Let's do this sometime again."
Poor Atsumu, looks like he's going to be bullied by his own brother and boyfriend for the rest of his life.

just thinking about sakuatsu living together...
they had their toothbrushes in separate (matching) cups, since sakusa wasn't comfortable with the idea of sharing few things with atsumu yet. a month or more passes, when atsumu accidentally breaks his cup and says, "we should probably buy another set." but sakusa says, "...no need, you can use mine."
ever since that day, their toothbrushes are in the same cup. :"))))

"Omi-kun..." Atsumu turns to his side to face Sakusa's back, "Can I hug you?" he asks softly, close to a whisper, prepared to hear rejection.
It took three seconds of silence before Sakusa softly sighs, then turns to face Atsumu. There was a gentle look in his eyes, and his face didn't look displeased. "Alright, come here," he says with a gentle tone, unlike from his usual coldness. He lifts an arm, welcoming Atsumu.
It caught Atsumu off-guard, but he didn't waste another second to scoot closer, wrapping his arms around Sakusa's torso as he buries his face on the crook of his neck, his breath tickles against Sakusa's collarbone.
"Don't you dislike this?"
Sakusa loosely wraps his arms around Atsumu, resting his chin on top of soft blond hair. "Well, you took a shower before this... so i guess it's fine."
This made Atsumu feel fuzzy and warm inside, his heart beating loudly that Sakusa might just hear it. He breathes in the scent of the soap that Sakusa uses, it calms him even more. Atsumu thinks if only they could just stay like this for eternity, he wouldn't mind.
Feeling drowsiness slowly seep into him, Atsumu slowly closes his eyes. A small smile shapes his lips, before he softly mutters against Sakusa's skin, "Thank you, Omi-kun... good night."
"...Good night." Sakusa whispers back.

Osamu could not believe what he's experiencing at the moment. He, Atsumu's twin brother, who has lived with him for decades since birth, who had to tolerate all his bullshit, cannot just believe that his asshole of a brother is tamed by someone else.
The man who tamed atsumu's annoying jerk ass? Goes by the name Sakusa Kiyoomi.
Other than having the looks, Osamu couldn't just find the words to this. Particularly, he doesn't hate Sakusa, but he doesn't like him that much either; maybe because of first impressions.
Once again, Osamu Miya could not believe. A month has passed since first impressions of his twin brother's boyfriend. Osamu in the past did not see nor even dare to imagine, that he could actually go along well with Sakusa Kiyoomi. It was hard to believe for him, to have some sort of bonding with Sakusa by bullying his twin brother.
For once, Osamu thought Sakusa might not be so bad as a brother in law after all.
