Hey I like your blog.. anyway is BackToSchoolGiftCards(.)com legit? My step sister said she got a $500 pizza hut giftcard from FedEx on Friday but I'm skeptical.. You seem smart so tell me what you think.
I wouldn't trust it. 聽There have been many MANY askbox spams throughout my time on tumblr. 聽If it's giving you free stuff, don't even bother. 聽I'm glad you asked!

I am so sorry!
I would like to apologize for not updating anything for basically a month but I'm still getting used to this whole I have a job and it's 3rd shift and my inspiration has been down because I've read Fifty Shades of Grey. 聽So, if you want to blame anything/anyone, blame that book. 聽It's the worst book for a writer to read because all you can do is write things that make no sense and make all of your characters whispers/mutter dryly forever and the female always explodes after orgasm yet somehow stays intact.
Anyway.
I'm sorry. 聽I'm back to reading actual literature and hope to get inspiration once again for writing. 聽Have patience!
If anybody still reads my stuff anymore SOBS

Great White Forest Shark
I once met a man who told me strange stories of things I thought were impossible. It's been five years since scientists were given free reign over major curiosity.聽 The wealthiest could purchase a commissioned experiment and know it would work.聽 Scientists became the most wanted and the most feared artists of the century.聽 You could ask for anything.聽 The most common was youth and/or lengthened life.聽 Others were a bit more creative with their commissions.聽 Which brings me to my current state. As a marine biologist, I feared that the Great White Shark would soon become extinct with the constant changes in the water.聽 That's when I had decided to have an experiment commissioned for me.聽 I saved my money and researched scientists for years of who would do the best job for the lowest price.聽 The sooner my commission was complete, the better off the sharks would be.聽 What was my commission?聽 Allowing the sharks to swim through the air of a forest as well as water.聽 The food they'd have available to them would help them flourish and the danger of their extinction would be nullified. It worked, of course, and I was always the proudest of having a forest of Great White's.聽 There was only one forest dedicated to this commission -- well, part of one as I didn't have enough funds for it all -- until one day . . . a few of them escaped their designated area of the forest.聽 Having been informed of this only this morning -- probably yesterday morning by now -- I felt responsible in finding the sharks that now roamed this forest. I'd found them all right.聽 Nearly killed me too.聽 They chased me to the point I didn't care if I followed a path.聽 As long as I was well out of their reach, I wasn't going to die.聽 That was mistake number two.聽 Mistake number one was creating them to swim in a goddamn forest.聽 And here I am, desperately hiding from Great White Sharks in the middle of a forest and I have no idea how to get out.聽 It's dark.聽 I'm tired.聽 I'm too afraid to sleep.聽 Every so often I can hear their tail fins brush up against a branch and I pray to any higher power that I survive this ordeal. That's when I realize they know my scent.聽 I'm the nice human that feeds them.聽 I'm the nice human that waters them down when they need it.聽 They seemed harmless . . .聽 until now.聽 I should have known better than to assume they'd take a liking to me like a pet and a master.聽 But they always knew my scent. CRACK! I twitched from the sudden noise which should have been a mistake.聽 A Great White Shark was swimming about 100 feet away from where I was hiding.聽 It was swimming closer and I knew that if it got any closer, my life would be done.聽 I just couldn't bring myself to accept that fate.聽 I had to try something. I reached into my bag and found an old fish sealed tightly in a vacuum fresh bag.聽 I desperately hopes this would do the trick.聽 I was getting desperate and every idea that I had ended in my possibility of dying in a grotesque manner.聽 Luck was my only option. I inhaled carefully letting the oxygen in my lungs calm me and slowly emerged from my spot.聽 The trick was not being quiet or secretive about my movements so I wouldn't startle it.聽 Thankfully the moon was full tonight and it was easier to see me and easier for me to see the shark.聽 It didn't charge at me.聽 Instead it studied me from the distance.聽 I slowly and carefully unwrapped the fish and the shark's mood instantly changed.聽 It's hungry. I held the fish by the tail and as far away from me as my arm span allowed.聽 It was almost mesmerizing how skittish this shark appeared to be.聽 As it swam closer to me I realized how small this one was compared to the others.聽 Just a baby.聽 And I had encountered the parents.聽 They were looking for their baby.聽 Of course they were.聽 That's why they attacked me. The baby shark ate the fish happily and even nuzzled my arm wanting more.聽 Looking around me I could find where it was that I had been and all I had to do was follow my painfully obvious path of desperate escape. "Don't worry, little one.聽 I'll get you more food.聽 I'll show you."聽 I patted the head of the shark gently and it responded in a positive note.聽 Even as a baby it was large.聽 Large as a horse.聽 A horse!聽 Of course! I made sure the shark was alright with me before I surveyed its body behind the fin on top.聽 If I could somehow climb up onto the shark's back, I could urge it toward the forest where the parents would hopefully have returned to. With a literal leap of faith, I jumped onto the back of it knowing now that I had made a discovery that many would want to have available to them.聽 It was both terrifying and exciting to know that I was finally making my way back to the Great White Shark Forest on the back of a Great White Shark in the middle of a forest like it was my great steed.聽 This would certainly not be the last time I would experience this.聽 I was determined of that.

芦 Chapter 禄
_________________________________________________________________
I couldn't help but admire Aron for doing what she did in spite of her feelings.聽 I wanted to stay friends with her if she were willing.聽 Somehow I didn't think anything I'd ever say could prevent her from her plan of leaving.聽 I wouldn't put it past her to leave without telling us at all and without a hint of a goodbye.聽 That's what I was afraid would happen. For the time I had spent with Aron, I had grown fond of her and more so since I gained the time to think about how she had helped me even when she knew it would help her none.聽 I could see now why Jared was so drawn to her and protective of her and I had this instant urge to speak with him about my revelation.聽 A revelation Jared had acquired long ago.聽 I envied his quick ability to observe the whole situation with everyone involved and why they would even want to be involved, etc. How strange it must have been for Aron to hear about Shea on a social networking sit or possibly having following Shea's blog for a time only to discover she had become my assistant and could possibly be met through a meet and greet for the band.聽 She took that chance.聽 Through that chance, she left on a plane with us that night at my request -- no, my plea -- to help me find the one person we both had intense motivation to find and for two very different reasons. I shook my head to stop my train of thought and found that I had wandered out of the bus and down the street.聽 I was around midnight.聽 It was my favorite time of the day as it was the times Shea and I would take out many walks.聽 It was on a dark night, the darkest, I finally came to the conclusion that I had irrevocably fallen in love with the girl I found sleeping in my bushes.聽 Our first kiss was perfect and completely harmless . . . or was it?聽 Was that kiss what started all of this?聽 I took that leap and acted on my feelings with that incredible feeling that something great would make me impossibly happy.聽 Could that have been the trigger for all of this?聽 Would have the things that followed ever happened? She could have jumped.聽 Was that my fault too?聽 Was that one selfish act something that caused her to be so unhappy before?聽 I was the reason she ran away.聽 I was the reason she almost was successful in her attempt in suicide.聽 But what brought her back to safety?聽 Aron.聽 Who found her?聽 Aron.聽 What triggered her memory?聽 Aron.聽 She did everything that helped Shea and yet Shea was still with me.聽 Would everything fall apart once Aron was gone?聽 Was I the trigger for her outbursts? No.聽 That was crazy talk.聽 How could I possibly be the trigger for her behavior lately?聽 I mean, regardless of this having started since I even expressed my attraction to her, her cousin found her and went batshit crazy.聽 Threatening to kill me to make her suffer for being the prime witness against his father therefore placing him in jail and as a permanent sexual predator.聽 As a result, her cousin was dead and Shea was put in the hospital.聽 If I hadn't kissed her . . . none of this would have happened. "Shannon?" I turned around and saw Shea standing a few feet away.聽 "Shan, are you okay?" "S-Shea.聽 How long have you been out here?"聽 I quickly wiped my hands over my eyes to remove any moisture that managed to build up while I was thinking. "Oh my God, Shannon.聽 You're crying!"聽 She held my face in her hands and I forced a smile as I gently touched her shoulders. "I'm fine."聽 I felt her thumbs running back and forth across my cheeks. "That's a load of bullshit.聽 Tell me what's bothering you, Shannon."聽 I couldn't look at her. "Nothing's bothering me."聽 I tried a short chuckle to make her believe me, but the way her silence felt told me that she was expecting me to be completely honest with her.聽 I wasn't used to someone caring like this.聽 It was a weird feeling to have, but it felt right.聽 "I don't want you to worry.聽 You have enough to deal with.聽 You don't need my thoughts to bring you down even more." She frowned.聽 "Shannon, I want you to let me care about you.聽 This is how a relationship works.聽 It's a two-way street."聽 She turned my face so that I had no other choice but to look at her.聽 She made it obvious how concerned she was.聽 "If we want to make this work, you need to let me be for you what you do for me." "But--." "Okay?" "Shea--." "OH-KAY?"聽 This conversation wasn't going anywhere that I wanted it to go.聽 It also felt backwards.聽 She was comforting me.聽 It was always the other way around.聽 I didn't really like it.聽 At least, at this moment I didn't. I took a deep breath and sighed heavily as if it helped relieve some stress.聽 "I was just thinking." "Oh, that's dangerous."聽 She teased and I couldn't help but smile, relaxing a bit. "What about?" I carefully pulled her hands away from my face.聽 "How much do you love me?" A smile spread across her face.聽 "A whole bunch." "And how much do you love Aron?"聽 I looked sideways and saw the smile melt from her face. "Shannon, don't--" "What?聽 Don't what?"聽 I swallowed.聽 "Shea, Aron loves you.聽 A lot." "Well, so do you." "But it wasn't me that triggered your memory again."聽 I ran a hand through my hair due to nerves. "Are you honestly bothered about that?" "Christ, we slept together." "It shouldn't matter how my memory came back." "I even told you stories about yourself." "Shannon, stop." "All you had to do what look at her and you were back to your old self again." "Shannon!" "Her voice kept you from jumping!聽 You were so goddamn close to jumping, Shea!" "STOP IT!"聽 I finally looked at her and she was a mess.聽 Her eyes were red and her cheeks were stained with her fresh tears.聽聽 Her voice was shaky.聽 She sounded scared of what I was going to say next but not nearly as afraid as I was for knowing that I would say it.聽 "Don't you dare say it, Shannon Leto." "Shea, you deserve the best." "Yeah and that's you." "You and I both know that's a lie."聽 She swallowed hard and I could see that even she couldn't deny I wasn't good for her.聽 "You're still in love with her, Shea.聽 You fell back in love with her since you've seen her.聽 It isn't fair to any of us if we try what's expected."聽 I rubbed my eyes again.聽 "You better catch her before she leaves.聽 She's the one that found you." "Shannon . . ." "Finders keepers."聽 I gave her a half-humored smile. "The last time she left is because she thought I was cheating after I said that someone stole my innocence!"聽 She was getting more and more upset about arguing with me.聽 Fighting to keep what we had.聽 For what purpose?聽 Didn't she know this was hurting me too? "And she left without waiting for your explanation, Shea.聽 Do you know what she did when she found that out, though?"聽 She was silent, but her eyes showed she was listening to my every word.聽 That only proved how in love with Aron she was.聽 "She spent her rent and grocery money for the month to buy a meet and greet with us for the off-chance of seeing you again even for a few seconds.聽 She didn't care about meeting and greeting Jared, Tomo, or me.聽 She asked for you.聽 And all these years she's been scouring for the moment to do one thing: apologize for leaving you the way she did.聽 She came with us and she found you.聽 She didn't do it for me and she didn't do it for herself.聽 She did it all to see you happy one more time.聽 Not once once did she make it about her." She wasn't even trying to keep the tears from falling.聽 "B-But what about you?聽 You deserve to be happy too." I reached out and wiped her cheeks with my thumbs.聽 "I'm happy when you're happy.聽 Remember?" "Are we still best friends?"聽 She sobbed out and I just smiled knowing full well that couldn't be. "Go get her."聽 I told her.聽 One enormous embrace from the woman I loved so much it hurt and then she was gone without another word. They left that night and it was the last time I ever saw her.

by =TheOtherSarshi He was very old by now. His long, white hair, uncut for fifteen years, was loosely spread all over the back of his coat. His shoulders were brought forward by age, his fingers weren't as deft as they had been. If there was one thing he was very happy for, it was that when he had started, he had used the higher shelves first. It meant he didn't have to climb steep, uncertain ladders all the time now. There were hundreds, thousands of jars and bottles and little tin boxes neatly stacked on the shelves, hung from the ceiling by thin chains or ropes, some small and precious glass containers brought together by ropes hanging from the ceiling like clusters of grapes or braided into garlic-like strands. The man had wanted to be a writer, or a sculptor, or a painter, or some other sort of artist that could show all the worlds that lived inside people. A long time ago, he had understood the fact that he had no talent. It didn't affect him now. He was content to be nothing else but a keeper of what he had wanted to bring forth. He learned how to listen and came to master the art. He traveled far and wide, he talked to people and they told him their stories. He would listen intently, love them and capture the very essence of both the tales and the men into small bottles, or jars, or boxes, or whatever he felt suited them best. Then he brought them home. He robbed nobody of anything. It was as if he were taking photographs, impressions of all that a person was and saved them forever. So many died unknown, their worlds never told. Even the best of them, the artists, the self-expresses par excellence, they barely managed to get even a splinter of themselves across. Yet the old man had all, remembered all, loved all. A little girl in a toy shoe, who was never allowed to climb trees, dreamed that up on the branches spread an infinite world and one could get lost in Titania's lands if only one took the right paths. A businessman in a snuff box thought that the best moments of his life were when he drove towards home at night, listening to soul music, alone away from work, from his wife and from his children. A young woman in a delicate perfume bottle knew that she was half-insane, but had never confessed it to anybody because she didn't want to bother them; delicate and wild, creative and optimistic and always melancholy. A singer in a pipe poured his soul in his music and never understood why people constantly asked how he could compose music so different from his way of life and upbringing. An accountant in a matchbox used prayer beads, not to pray, but to relax, to feel the smooth wood under his fingers and the numbers that he counted slide by. And each of them had so many, so many other facets, so many sublime depths and heights. He was very old by now and his story wouldn't be kept. He had never been interested in himself. Compared to all other men, he felt he was too common. He sat down on his chair under the window and looked around, peacefully. He had gathered much, seen much, heard much. And he had enjoyed it all, drank it all to the last drop, loved each of the people in his attic. Some of them had died by now, others thrived. Some remembered him, most didn't. It didn't matter for the old man - he wished them all good luck and happy lives and many dreams, just the same. He looked up at the subtle sound of unheard footsteps and he smiled. "So you have finally come for me," he said. His voice shook not from fear, but from the tiredness of his body. The old man listened to the newcomer's story as patiently and as lovingly as ever. He smiled and laughed in all the right places, cried when he heard the saddest parts, marveled at the most beautiful moments. All throughout, he was entranced. In the end, he was weeping with happiness. When silence settled as softly as dust in an old attic, he took the Teller's world and put it on the very tip of a sharpened needle which he discreetly stuck in a garlic strand-like rope. Then he went back to his chair, sat down in it, murmured a thanks for his last tale and closed his eyes never to wake again. Death touched his cooling forehead kindly. The old man had had no family. There was nobody to bury him, nobody to see he was dead. So It turned his body, clothes and all, into dust. It opened the window and let the breeze in to carry him and all other dust away. It placed the old man's world in the chair he had died in. With a last glance, It saw that all was tidy and right and nothing was misplaced. Opening Its wide wings, Death flew away into the warm sunlight, happy that the old man had been glad that It collected worlds and stories just as he did.

_________________________________________________________________
JARED'S POV I felt horrible for how this trip was turning out to be for Shannon.聽 I knew how important it was for him to get to New Orleans.聽 The lengths he would go to for making this happen was insane.聽 He would do anything to make his weird dreams come true.聽 His dreams were always changing and forever sporadic.聽 If there was an inkling of a chance he could make it happen, he'd take advantage of it at any and every cost.聽 One of these days he would be going to terrible extremes and end up in jail.聽 Unfortunately, this was a thought that didn't surprise me and was basically expected. But, this trip was for Shannon at my expense.聽 It was a gift and not even I would understand why New Orleans was such an important place for my brother, but the only thing that mattered was that it was important for him to go.聽 The best part was that mom loved the idea of it being a gift.聽 She always told us that the memories we have with the people we care the most about will stay with us longer than the most expensive gift.聽 But, contrary to popular belief, memories aren't free.聽 It costs time, love, and happiness.聽 The only thing missing on this trip was the happiness and I knew that getting what these girls were hiding was something I could count on for boosting my brother's mood significantly. This being the reason for this bet with Chloe.聽 If I could get Dreme to tell me anything remotely personal about herself, I would have my handwritten explanation for Shannon to enjoy.聽 It was the easiest bet I've ever made.聽 Chloe wouldn't even see it coming.聽 The pep in my step increased at the thought of her handing that over. Twenty-three and a half miles and seven hours later, my pep was long gone but we had made it to the outskirts of Bossier and the wildlife center Dreme had flawlessly lead us to.聽 We still needed a place to stay and there was still enough light left in the day to go looking for any possibility for shelter.聽 Dreme was the first to volunteer for that.聽 Chloe was right.聽 She honestly did seem like she was enjoying this mishap more than anything.聽 She was comfortable with taking charge.聽 The reality was that no one else had a better planned out schedule than she did.聽 Not even Shannon could find a flaw in it. "This could be a good spot to camp, but if we can find a building to squat in we'll be able to sleep longer with the off-chance of getting caught being here." "Wait."聽 Shannon was exhausted, but still was taking the opportunity to pick a fight with her.聽 "You took us to a place to spend the night where we could get into trouble for being here?" "Always assume it's illegal just to be safe.聽 Besides, with your habit of job jumping, I don't see how this is much difference."聽 She dropped her bag in his lap.聽 "Just switch job jumping to home hopping." "Just go find a fucking cabin or something, okay?"聽 He threw her bag at the back of her knees then flopped into his back only to have the pleasure of having her bag plopped right over his face.聽 "Have a good hike, angel." "Hey, I'll go with you to help."聽 I dropped my bag to the ground later to discover that also landed on Shannon's face after he was perfectly comfortable and rather content to sleep right in that very spot after having tossed Dreme's bag off to the side. "Sure.聽 You can start going east while I go west and we can circle around until we meet up on the other side to figure out if the other found anything."聽 She didn't even stop to breath when she immediately turned and started walking away when I realized the problem in my reasoning to help her.聽 I was planning on using this time to get close to Dreme as a preemptive attempt as wooing her to succeed in my fling.聽 Getting to know her would involve extracting any personal information from her which would win me my bet. "Wait!"聽 She stopped and turned toward me expectantly with a question on her face.聽 "What if there's someone out there?聽 We'd be better off walking together." "Well, you could always borrow my flashlight if you're afraid of the dark."聽 There was a hint of mockery yet she was so incredibly taciturn that I wasn't sure if she really was being genuine or not.聽 "If that can't help you, then I suppose you'll just have to go back and let me go it alone for the entire circumference.聽 I'm sure Chloe and your brother will be able to protect from the big bad wolf." All right, so wooing her would be harder than I thought.聽 "You honestly would benefit from having me walk with you.聽 I could keep an eye out for other people when you could look for shelter.聽 If there is any." She heaved out a sigh.聽 "And I suppose you'll be wanting to make small talk while we walk together?" I shrugged.聽 "It helps to pass the time.聽 So should we start going west?" "Oh, sure.聽 Why not?聽 I'll be right behind you."聽 She gave me a half-witted smile and I knew I was already in for a challenge.聽 I should have been more careful when making that bet with Chloe.聽 But, I wasn't giving up hope.聽 I wasn't a loser and this is exactly my kind of challenge.聽 This was better than wandering through wildlife on your own with your thoughts.聽 It wasn't long when I noticed her footsteps behind me were getting quieter meaning she was walking farther away from me and not with me. "Oh, no you don't!" I turned around and caught up with her which rewarded me with a look to the heavens.聽 "You can't get rid of me that easily." "Really?聽 Because it seemed to work for the first few minutes."聽 I pulled her toward me and linked my arm around hers and walked her toward the west like we intended.聽 She quickly wormed her arm away, but walked with me.聽 Well, ahead of me.聽 Regardless, we were alone and talking to pass the time was bound to happen.聽 She didn't speak once.聽 We had made it half-way around the circle and I had to have been attempting to get an answer to my constant questions and it was at this moment that I was starting to realize that I was going to lose my bet. "You know, this precisely why I was hoping your brother would have offered to help me with this,"聽 She was examining a clearing, almost a bit like a thicket that was abandoned probably due to hunters. "Why?聽 He kind of hates you if you hadn't figured that out."聽 I knew she'd have to talk.聽 Was this a confession that she actually liked him?聽 If so, that's a personal thing.聽 That meant that I won. "You're full of brand new information, Jared."聽 She stood up and brushed off her knees.聽 "No, the reason I'd rather have your brother helping me is because he would have already agreed to stay as far away from me as possible and we would have been done with this twenty minutes ago.聽 Talking would not be possible which is the way I wanted it to begin with because he doesn't want to know where I came from or what my favorite color is to satisfy his need to know everything about everyone to get a read on the type of person they are.聽 I won't answer your questions.聽 Now, shut up and bring your brother and Chloe over to this thicket.聽 We'll be sleeping here tonight." "We're all sleeping in there?" "No, we each get a thicket to ourselves."聽 More sarcasm.聽 I wasn't used to this much of it.聽 "Oh, just go!" "Okay, okay!"聽 I turned around and headed to the area Chloe and Shannon were waiting for us. "And don't forget to tell Chloe you lost your stupid bet."聽 I stopped and turned to her again.聽 "I'm not an idiot.聽 I have eyes.聽 I have ears." "How did you even know?聽 You were way too far ahead of us to hear it.聽 And I would have already heard her tell you." "You forgot the one thing Chloe made obvious to you, Jared."聽 Dreme reached into her pocket and pulled out a folded square of paper and tossed it to me.聽 "We're writers.聽 That's how we best communicate." I opened the note and saw the bet written out in detail by Chloe as a heads up for Dreme.聽 Everything was in there.聽 Even what I said as a parting to Chloe to throw her off by saying Dreme could have been stringing her along all of these years. "Oh."聽 I handed it back to her only to have her crumpled it back into my hands. "You might want to remember what it was you bet so we get what Chloe rightfully won from you.聽 Be sure to get your brother to help you with it."聽 I wanted so badly to argue with her, but the fact that she knew about the bet made it so it was impossible for me to win. Defeated, I made it back to the clearing to retrieve Chloe and Shannon.聽 My fling was not going to happen considering I didn't want to deal with Chloe nor Dreme and found myself loathing both girls.聽 Mainly Chloe since she had tricked me.聽 If only Shannon knew.聽 I'd have to tell him.聽 I found myself in the presence of Shannon's expert wooing as I barged in causing Chloe to jump and the trance was gone and the near kiss was broken.聽 I could sense Shannon's irritation with me for doing so.聽 "We found a thicket."聽 Chloe turned toward me leaving Shannon to wallow in the denial via distraction.聽 "It's better than nothing." "Which way?"聽 Chloe got up and gathered hers and Dreme's bags and I pointed behind me.聽 "Cool.聽 Thanks." I waited until Chloe had walked out of earshot as Shannon did.聽 His intention was to express his distaste for my interruption.聽 He only stopped when I told him about the bet I had made and after waiting for him to read what we had to do, he was not visibly angry at me.聽 It was worse when he acted eerily calm.
