I'm back from the dead with a study I did over the summer. I really wanted to study both the human body and skeleton in the form of sculpture, and when I came across this amazing piece of art I knew I had found what I was looking for. Apart from being a clear Memento Mori allegory, it was made by a very happy man that enjoyed life very much.

And I also went ahead and did some cross hatching, because I'm slowly starting to fall in love with it more and more.

My brother also said that the man looks like Willem Dafoe and I cannot unsee it now.

𝘿𝙤𝙣'𝙩 𝙇𝙤𝙤𝙠, 𝘿𝙤𝙣'𝙩 𝙇𝙤𝙤𝙠!

I swear I haven't been the same since I got the opportunity to read James O'Barr's 'The Crow' comic. I've been a big fan of both the movie and the style of it, and to finally have my own copy fills me with immense joy.

What doesn't fill me with joy at ALL is the new remake with Bill Skarsgård (no hate to the actor, tho! I think he's pretty neat). They've just.,, destroyed the whole amazing aesthetic that the original The Crow movie had. I'm here for the slander and I'm VERY vocal about it.

So, in honor of finally reading the comic, I wanted to make this Eric more similar in style to the one in the comic. I hope I made him justice! I'm very happy with the finished thing.

I’m still on my MCR kick. Think I’ll be here for a while as I’ve been reading so many great fics in the fandom. And fics always inspire me to draw. But this piece is inspired by their video for the 'I’m Not Okay (I Promise)' video. You can find it here as it’s brilliant. It’s filmed like a concept trailer for a very Heathers-esq High School film. Had to draw teen Gerard and Frank from it ♥

ℕ𝕒𝕞𝕖𝕝𝕖𝕤𝕤 𝔾𝕙𝕠𝕦𝕝

remember that last post where I said that I had more time to post and that I would be trying to be consistent now that I was able to? I lied. Summer has pretty much ended and I only posted once. Do I feel guilty? Not at all! I'll just dump stuff now. Instagram has been too much to handle these days, anyway.

so!! Ghost. I've been listening to a whole tone of bands recently and Ghost is one of them. This is just an ink sketch I did for class, since last year I was able to mess around with ink and see how it worked. I must say, I'm a big fan!

I've really been trying to understand all of the lore behind the band, but yeah, this is one of the Nameless Ghouls of the Prequelle era (I do not know which one is which, or if they have any differences in the mask whatsoever). It was actually pretty fun to do it, so I might start doing more fan art... We'll see.

I've been enjoying my summer by pretty much forgetting about all of my duties and staying off social media for a while! But I'm glad to say that I have graduated and I'm on my way to enroll on art school, f i n a l l y. Things have been pretty hectic, but now that I actually DO have the time to post, I'll try to be consistent.

And yes, these upcoming posts will be pretty much projects and other things I've done for class over the year. I do have more up my sleeve, but first things first 👀

Angst, angst, angst, the idea has probably been done lots of times but I wanted to give it my own personal twist! I also added some newspaper parts and words to make kind of like a dialogue that was between Poison and Kobra, before everything went to shit basically. It’s in Spanish, but in case someone can’t understand it, here’s the translation: K: “I wish that one day we can be number one. Not because of money or success, but for having made a mark that will be recognized across the world.” P: “Yeah, it’s frustrating.” K: “We don’t know if we will make it tomorrow.” P: “I really don’t know what’s going to happen once we get there.” K: “Well, even if something does happen, we’ll see. My dream and my idea is to keep on fighting.” Sorry in advance 🕺🏻

𝐁𝐨𝐲𝐬 𝐃𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐂𝐫𝐲 I honestly don’t know how long has it been since I’ve posted, but I’m just glad to say that I’ll f i n a l l y have more time to post since I’ve started my summer vacations (THANKGOD) I’ll be posting the drawings that I have been making throughout the months, as well as class projects (this is one, in fact!) I just had to make a “realistic” portrait of someone and then take a part from it and kinda do like a collage thingy, which ended up being a lot of fun! And since I’ve been listening to The Cure a lot, why not Robert Smith? Hopefully I won’t forget to post, having all of these drawings is kinda overwhelming.

Lady of the Black Waters

disappearing for so long is going to be my favorite hobby from now on. Sometimes I need to remind myself to dust off my account and post something. things have been hectic and with the amount of work that I have to do, I don’t really have time to work on my own stuff, but now that it’s the holidays, I’ll try to post what I DO have.,, I think. I’ve come to the conclusion that due to my unhealthy obsession with Goya, my art style has changed a lot thanks to his series of The Caprices. Not complaining tho. This was kinda like a water lady that controls it an that also makes monsters out of it. It was just an excuse to draw some fancy clothes and get out of my comfort zone. Really like it, tho! That’s pretty much it? Everything’s going to be inconsistent, but hopefully there’s going to be more variety coming in from now on.

𝚂𝚎𝚖𝚙𝚎𝚛 𝚏𝚞𝚌𝚔𝚒𝚗' 𝙵𝚒! Second part of the collab with @_samjakobo_ ! This time I made him with his main character, and he did with mine as well! This one was really fun to do, the details on the clothing (a bit of a pain in the aSs) were really fun to make, since I never put a lot of effort into those types of details. The meme part was never intended to look like a follow up with the other one, but it just makes it funnier to be honest. I'm shit when it comes to making characters and people look like their real counterparts, sorry if I somehow managed to butcher them both 😞. we have also come to the conclusion that making memes is funny as hell- but I think every time we make a new one we just end up burning our braincells even more. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝

my friend @_samjakobo_ (Instagram) and I played about a month ago the game House of Ashes from the Dark Pictures Anthology and lets just say.,, things got out of hand. lots, and lots of memes, and a whole ass backstory with Jason and Salim straight out of our rotting brains! so, after we finished it, we decided to make a collab where we drew ourselves with the characters we first played with, and viceversa. This is also considered a once in a lifetime thing, since it’s the first time I’ve drawn myself! which was really weird, but fun. Salim just makes it even better! And now, the moment of truth. We made up a story where Jason and Salim came back home together and took in a bunch of eggs from the “alien nest”, which will be like their own children.,, and we gave them names. all 65 of em. this is just a half; Jasám Jasán Lima Limón No Si Anal Ano Aio Jamón Salmón Nasal Ass Sosa/Soso Salami Mamá Jaja Lol Jojo A Joso Sason Salsa Manso Mano Masa Sasaso Sano Limosna Mono Nia Jon Jasama Jesus Christ.
