Idk if anyone remembers when I posted some random character doodles of some aliens(?), but I had a moment last night and sketched one of them again. I’m really fond of this design. I think I’ll try doodling him more if I can. It’s nice just to brainlessly doodle ocs with no need to worry about story. Anyway, she needs a name! I’ll figure it out!

Actor Johnathan Joss was just murdered for being gay. On the first day of pride 2025. He was best known for playing John Redcorn on King of the Hill.

I had no idea he was gay but he was married to a man named Tristan Kern de Gonzales (on valentines day 2025!)

They lived in San Antonio Texas where his family is from and he grew up. He was 59.

In Janurary 2025 his home was burned down which made news. It killed some of his beloved dogs. He didnt elaborate beyond he believed it was arson (gofundme is still up and i suggest donating to help his funeral costs and his husband

Now we know he and his husband had been threatened by several neighbors for being queer. They told pigs, pigs being pigs did nothing before or after it happened.

As they weeped and mourned in shock, a neighbor, Sigfredo Alvarez Ceja, came out and aimed at de Gonzales…but Hoss jumped in front of the bullet and was instantly killed.

Ceja, homophobia murdering coward, tried to take off but de Gonzales had called pigs who vaguely tried to do something. He was arrested and his bail set for $200k. Or as my sister said who the fuck sets bail for a murderer?

This is why we need pride people, and not rainbow capitalism. Please donate to the gofundme and let san antonio cops knows what you think. De Gonzales said multiple neighbors had threatened them…id like to see those people investigated for arson.

god punished me for my hubris by making me go through 7 hellish drafts when I draw. then when I post the unfinished sketches they get more love than my finished drawings. my own divine comedy of sorts

I ended up finishing this without even meaning to. Some Ahsoka to heal the soul. Originally, I overlayed a paper texture on this, but felt like it made the drawing too muddled. So, I went without it in the finished piece, but I’ll add a textured version under the cut for fun anyway.

mildly amused by people looking at official comic book art/covers and going how did marvel/dc think this doesn't look gay as fuck!!! and when you look it was drawn by, like, kevin wada. like no they didn't unknowingly make batman look gay they intentionally paid a gay man who draws hairy men pin up art to draw that. everyone knows exactly whats going up

Sorry for a minor art spam today. I had queued the Ekko post and now I'm just posting this last one that I recently made today. I am feeling unwell, so I drew my sillies and experimented with style a bit. :))

I really like when people draw hobbits with animalistic characteristics, and I tried... but ended up scratching that and drawing him more like his movie counterpart, since I could not capture the concept as good as I had liked lol. I tried to make Arwen look a bit less human-like and more... ethereal? But idk if I caught that vibe. Experimenting with this style was fun though.

Fun fact! I apparently (idk I don't look too much into this stuff, lmk if I am wrong) share a personality type with them both, INFP (if you believe in those types of sorting stuff— I just think they're fun), which is pretty funny because my name is inspired by her. ^^ I'll be looking like Frodo eventually though if I don't get my hair cut soon asjaskjs.
