hey everyone new question are there any songs that freak you the hell out so bad that you can never listen to them again. like i mean songs that just fuck with your mind. mines hamburger lady by throbbing gristle i physically cant listen to that song without getting terrible paranoia. i’m really curious 2 hear peoples input on this since people always talk about disturbing movies and games but not a lot about scary MUSIC and i think we should talk about scary music MORE🗣️
#there are a couple songs by aeseas that do this to me#couldn’t tell you why. i really want to like them but i just can’t get through a single listen without wanting to claw my skin off

When entering any place of business, such as a store or restaurant, if a staff member greets you, then acknowledge them and greet them back.
Although for many jobs it's a required part of their job to greet you, especially retail workers, receptionists, and restaurant workers to name a few, that doesn't make it feel any less dehumanizing to say "Hello!" to another human being only for them to ignore you. Acknowledging staff members and greeting them back is important for acknowledging their humanity, they are, after all, a human being, and not an automated machine.
This is also important when going to check out at a store. If you approach the cash register, and the cashier greets you, you should acknowledge them and greet them back. Cashiers already have to deal with being dehumanized enough. The least you can do is help humanize them by acknowledging them when they greet you and speak to you.

People who hate Frodo Baggins are my enemy. "He didn't do anything and was useless"--yeah, okay, so what you're not understanding is that he was the sacrificial lamb. He endured physical, mental, and emotional torment that got worse and worse as his will broke. Everyone knew this. EVERYONE KNEW THIS. That's why everyone was devastated about it. Because Frodo was the most innocent among them, that was the entire point. He represented ordinary peaceful people being destroyed by the horrors of war. And as a hobbit he also represented some of the last vestiges of magic in what was basically a post magic apocalypse.
Frodo was basically an innocent puppy thrown into the Torment Nexus so that EVERYONE ELSE could maybe have a hope of surviving. And he did that willingly. HE DID IT OF HIS OWN FREE WILL, KNOWING IT WOULD RUIN HIM.
Frodo haters won't see the light of heaven

i hate OCD more than anything. i hate feeling like i’m uniquely horrible and unloveable and that i’ve done something unforgivable at some point and someday everyone is going to figure it out. the words “bad person” trigger me like a sleeper agent. i can’t hear about controversy of any kind without feeling like i’m going to throw up, because what if i did that? what if i’ve done something similar? What if whoever got cancelled is being slandered or misunderstood? i have this intense feeling that i’m going to ruin my own life, and the lives of everyone around me. all i’ve ever wanted was to be good. i don’t understand. i feel like i’m lying to everyone, always.
#vent#ocd#moral ocd#i’m sorry guys i know i’m being a bummer#i’m in therapy i’ll be okay#i just wish everything didn’t have to suck so bad all the time
