The West End cast of Hadestown put out an album of the live tracks!!! I’ve been listening to it all day and I love the voice of Hermes and Eurydice! Though for whatever reason half of the tracks aren’t on there, including some of my favorites, (ex. Chant Reprise, Hey Little Songbird, Our Lady of the Underground) which is unfortunate but still I would encourage you to listen to it! All the tracks that are on there are great.

I like to say I don’t get remotely parasocial with celebrities or YouTubers or anything like that because it’s 100% a very weird thing to do but hearing that Julia Lepetit was pregnant… my joy was akin to learning a dear friend of mine was pregnant. The good place last episode is crazy ‘cuz they really said. Here you are. You’re given a world where you get to have as much time as you can possibly have with your loved ones. You can live a hundred lifetimes over with them. A thousand. You can do everything you wanted to accomplish with them in life and then some. And yet it’s still not enough. You’re still begging for one last conversation. One last laugh. One last second. Love is overflowing and pure and constant and selfish and painful and although it would be so much easier you still can’t bear the thought of living without it. Even though it’s so horribly painful when you lose it.

I have just found out that I can play as the characters and not just create my own and I’m realizing i more want to BE the slutty vampire twink than I want to date him + apparently there’s a mod where I can create a polycule

So now the thought of being a little shit vampire with my two hot muscly horned bitches on either side is now the only thing driving me to play this game

I’ve yet to play Baldurs Gate (Baldur’s Gate? Is Baldur in possession of the Gate?) but I do know that you can romance characters and although I would have the option of dating the hot muscly tiefling woman or the handsome man with the horns (who isn’t a tiefling I guess??) the thought of getting to date that little slutty vampire twink is the only thing driving into actually play the game
