the TEDtalk:

the initial appeal was two angry men with long hair, and then it was the rlly short rlly tall dynamic, and then i was thinking about how both of them are extremely smart but things like kunikidas perfectionism gets in his way while chuuyas impulsivity gets in HIS way. they’re like oppisites but one in the same.

Then i’m thinking about the scene where chuuya saved them and was just like “You fucked up detective agency” with a massive grin on his face. That was the most boyfriend-scolding-boyfriend-energy I have ever witnessed.

AND THEN THE LOOK THEY GAVE EACH OTHER IN THE HELICOPTER WAS SO LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT?

Something else they have in common is their experience dealing with Dazai. So they can bond over either their love or hatred for that man if they so please.

I just adore the chaos they would ensue and they also fit the enemies to lovers trope.

Hello, here are my peircing headcanons for BSD characters. enjoy!

1: Kunikida:

I am a firm believer Kunikida would have a labret. Sorry, I don’t make the rules.

He also has only one ear pierced on his cartilage.

2: Akutagawa

He would have snakebites for the alternative vibe but only the snakebites because he wants to keep it minimalistic.

3: Atsushi

Atsushi has a medusa.

4: Yosano

Yosano has a nose ring, an industrial bar, and double lobes. (I also personally believe she’d prefer it in gold to match her butterfly clip.)

5: Ranpo

He would have a bridge. Yes he has glasses, but he doesn’t wear them enough for it to cause an issue.
