Use this to your advantage. Life doesn't just line up perfectly for people, so stop expecting your story to line up perfectly and make perfect sense. Sometimes things just happen and there's no rhyme or reason for it. You don't have to have an understandable cause for every tiny thing that happens.

Sometimes it just does, and that is perfectly okay. 👍🏾 Don't let not understanding why this thing would happen prevent you from making The Thing. Okay? Perfect. :)

Pop Prompt Palooza!

A pop-up creative event designed to inspire your imagination! Whether it's through written work, art, edits, moodboards and/or headcanons, the goal is to inspire you to create! This event is a 3-day event, May 2-4 (however, late entries will be accepted through May 9).

Since it is a pop-up event, the goal isn't full-length, polished written works or fully rendered art; it's more about quick writes, drabbles, sketches, and headcanons. Of course, if the prompts inspire longer, more detailed works, they are always welcome.

I know the May challenge has not been posted yet, so I thought this could be a fun way to get creative without a full monthly challenge (at least at the moment). Whenever I have information about the May Challenge, I will be sure to share it.

I know how that feels work is hectic with me as well. You work and work and aren’t paid enough and then you get bullshit from colleagues so I know the feeling all too well (to quit Taylor Swift here).

As for me. Helloooo it’s me…

So this feels kinda weird to be posting again, after such a long time which for me feels like a decade 😅

I know I kind of disappeared a little 🙈

I don’t have a good answer or reason, but honestly though? I decided to be a little selfish and focus on me and my well being. Sometimes or most of the time I put others first and don’t realize I haven’t given myself that same attention, so I decided to spend more time doing the things I love.

But nevertheless I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who’s been nice and has shown kindness towards me. Especially during my dads passing, everyone has lost someone that’s been dear to them and knows that pain, so from the bottom of my heart thank you. During those really difficult moments, when I couldn’t breathe because of the pain I was feeling, people have gone out of their way to be there for me, and that’s something I can never repay - I can only say thank you 🩷

I know with not being online or interacting I’ve maybe let someone down, but please know I haven’t forgotten anyone I just felt like I needed to take a step back and that’s what I did. A detox if you will. When I get overwhelmed by emotions I shut myself off, because I need to sort out things on my own, and sometimes that takes some time. Not trying to make excuses just trying to explain why I wasn’t as online as I was before.

This isn’t a goodbye to tumblr. But I had to take a much needed break from a lot of things.

Including writing fanfics and tumblr.

I’m trying to be more present in the moment, make new connections with new friends, spend time with my family, lay down flowers on my dads grave 💐 Ever since my dad passed away last year (I still can’t believe it’ll be a year on July 29th 😱) I guess it’s a pain that never truly disappears only lessens.

Another reason is that I couldn’t really write fanfics and I felt as if any story I posted just wasn’t good enough, I didn’t feel that same passion or love for fanfics I once did, trust me it’s hard for me to admit this, because I love my characters I just can’t write for them and it’s breaking my small little pink heart 💔

It’s also been a while since I played any book on choices. Though I did pick up Romance Club again. There are some cool stories there actually. If you want to connect there let me know I’d be happy to 🥰

I truly hope to be able to write fanfics again. Or to just feel joyous while writing 🤞🏻😍

I feel as if the choices fandom has gotten smaller, since I first joined, but the people in the fandom have been and still are amazing. Seeing so many new stories, characters and more is truly wonderful. Keep on shining!

I hope to return to writing at some point, but I feel the need to look after myself first even if that means not sharing some stories for a while. It’s been a decision I kept putting off because I was thinking to myself maybe the spark will return, or maybe I’ll be able to get inspired again for this or that fanfic I have in the works (there are A LOT of them) but so far I couldn’t and trust me nothing makes me sadder than this. I see people write and I’m like damn I’m so happy for them and at the same time I wish I could get inspired and have hours on end where I’m just writing! I’ve been writing some original stuff. So hopefully the spark will be there again soon🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

If anyone has tips for how to spark that flame for writing, or to just find that passion for writing, out of this endless writers block let me know.

Thanks also for those of you who congratulated me on my birthday on April 16th and haven’t forgotten about me, even if I‘ve been a little MIA. I know we’ve all got things to do, things to worry about but at the end of the day it’s okay to just take a deep breath and just focus on the things we can and can’t control.
