I headcanon Arpeggio as demisexual, but my sona is bisexual who leans sapphic and I’m a lesbian irl, so I combined the lesbian and bi flag to represent my sona and actual self’s identities 💕

Introducing my newest OC; Runa Metso the western capercaillie! She’s a trans lesbian birb who is very affectionate and motherly without a single mean bone in her body 💕

I’ve really liked this species for a while, but my love for them has grown since I started playing theHunter: Call of the Wild in early 2023, in which the western capercaillie is featured on a couple of maps, including my favorite one which is set in Finland. Speaking of; in my tradition of giving my OCs obvious surnames, Runa’s surname is literally her species in Finnish LOL.

I adopted my shading technique from these games (specifically Sly 2), and I’ve always wanted to try drawing one of my OCs in this style. My sona is next 😈

I’ve always wanted to draw Arpeggio doing the eye pinning thing, which is something that parrots do when they’re looking at something that interests or excites them. While visiting my birdwife in crime @alfafilly recently, we visited a place that has rescued parrots (mainly macaws), and all the birds pinning their eyes at us as we interacted with them inspired me to finally draw this! I then realized I had the ability to turn this into a .gif, so I did!

While out on an evening flight on the night of her hatchday, Sam is very pleasantly surprised by the sight of the Aurora borealis—an uncommon occurrence in her region, especially to such an intensity!

Today is my birthday, and I made this as a lil special treat for myself! It’s one of my bucket list goals to see the Aurora borealis in person (sadly, I missed the two opportunities I had to see them from my area irl this year) one day, but for now I’ll just have to let my sona witness them.

ThiefTober Day 12 — “Altitude”

Another ThiefTober prompt I felt inspired to draw Arpeggio for! Just being on board the airship in the sky isn’t always enough to simulate flight; sometimes, he really needs to feel the wind on his wings.

I’m gonna tell y’all a secret; until now, I’ve avoided any serious attempts to draw the husbird’s blimp for the entire time I’ve loved him because I really don’t enjoy drawing stuff like this LMAO. Though, with my fanfic in the works and knowing damn well I’m going to have to draw his blimp at least a few times for that, I figured I’d use this ThiefTober prompt for practice! I literally had to get on Sly 2 briefly to take a picture of the blimp HQ off the screen for reference, but I still took artistic liberty; it’s not like everything about this thing as it’s depicted in the game would make sense mechanically anyway LOL … I tried tho!
