Annoying Brothers-Jack Hughes

A/n: So I have so many ideas it's not funny, here's one of them. I'm not sure how popular he will be with the crowd who reads my stuff so bare with me. If you guys don't like him feel free to not read, I don't mind really.

Your POV

I was in my room chilling when my little brother barged in. 

" You could have knocked!" I yelled annoyed 

" Can you take me to see my favorite hockey player?" he asked 

I groaned and sat up, " Why can't mom and dad take you." I asked 

He moved to sit on my bed. " They're busy." 

I sighed before saying, " When is it?" 

He looked up, " Um in about 5 hours." 

I widened my eyes...

" Excuse me! Nate really" I said 

Nate looked over at me. " I'm sorry, but I already asked them and they didn't want to take me." he said 

" So you decided to ask me?" I stated 

He nods, " It's just Y/n/n, I really want to go." 

I sighed again, " You're lucky I'm not doing anything." 

He smiled and pulled me into a hug. " Thank you! You're the best sister ever." he said 

I looked over to him, " I'm your only sister." 

Nate pulled away from the hug. " So I know I just told you, but we might want to leave soon." I nodded, " What's the team's colors?" 

He smiled, " Red, white and black." 

Nate's POV

After I told her the color's she nodded and walked to her closet which made me leave. I walked off to my room to text my friend about it. 

'I can't believe sister agreed to drive me' I sent 

It didn't take long for him to reply. 'What! You mean to tell me Y/n actually is being nice.'

I laughed at the text, while typing a reply. Which made him automatically reply back, 

'I bet you she thinks one of the players is hot.' 

I paused thinking before replying, 'Bro she doesn't even know the players.' 

' Sure, she's probably looking up stuff right now.' 

We then kept texting until Y/n knocked on the door frame of my bedroom. " Are you ready to go?" She questioned 

I glanced at her outfit not being weird. " Yea, just need to throw on a jersey." I got up and grabbed my Jack Hughes one since he's my favorite player. I then slipped my shoes on. " Ready to go?" She asked again 

I nodded and we started walking downstairs to the front door. " Thanks for taking me sis." I said as we got in the car.

She started the car once we got in and settled. " It's not a problem." She said

We made it to the place and I saw a crowd. " Hurry! I want to find a good place to stand." I told her

Your POV

" Okay, lead the way." I said 

He tugged my along. We then got to the gated area. " We're just waiting now." Nate said 

I nodded and looked at the crowd, Then cheers happened. 

" Their... here" Nate said excitedly 

I glanced over and saw Jack Hughes, even though I've seen him on screen he looked better in person. " Damn." I mumbled 

Nate looked up..." Huh?" he questioned 

" Nothing kid" I said 

Nate's POV

I just knew my sister was thinking about how cute he was. I rolled my eyes, but smiled when he came over to me. " Jack, can you sign this?" I asked 

" Yeah, what's your name?" He asked 

" Nate..." I said 

He nodded and signed the item. I smiled and looked to my sister and grinned. " Hey Jack..." I said 

He looked over, " What's up?" 

" My sister thinks you're hot." I said 

" Nate!" She said and avoided looking at us

Jack just chuckled, " Does she now." he said 

Nate nodded and took the item that he signed. Jack walked an inch over to be in the view of my sister. 

Your POV

" What's your name?" He asked 

I looked over some. " Y/n..." I softly said 

" Pretty name for a gorgeous girl." he said 

I blushed some..." Thanks." I said 

" See you both in the stands." He said before walking away 

I watched him walk away which made my brother nudge me. " Ow..." I said 

" Stop staring at him." He said 

" Sorry..." I mumbled rubbing my side 

" Let's go find our seats." He said 

I nodded and followed after him. I was just looking at everything. We walked to the lower area, but I noticed we were by the players bench. " Nate, how on earth did you score these seats?" I asked shocked 

" I kind of was saving up for this day." He admitted 

I looked over to him. " Well I'm proud of you for saving your money for something special." He smiled and sat down, which made me sit next to him.

The game has been going on for a while and I kept seeing Jack look in our direction. It made me feel nervous. " Nate..." I questioned 

"What..." he asked still focused on the game 

" Is it weird Jack keeps looking this way?" I asked 

He glanced over before looking back to the game. " No..." he said, pausing and cheering due to them scoring. " He probably is fond of you." He said 

" What! But we just met." I said 

" Ever heard of first love, genius?" He said 

I rolled my eyes. " Smart-ass." I mumbled and went back to watching the game

Jack's POV

It was the final point of the game making us win. We were all celebrating on the ice where my eyes kept scanning over the girl I was talking to before the game. Seeing her cheering with her younger brother made me happy.

After interviews and changing I decided to see if I could find her social media account. It actually didn't take me long to find. I went to her Dms and wrote...

'hey...It was good to meet you before the game. I know we just met, but I was wondering if you wanted to hangout sometime?' I pushed sent which made me feel nervous. I then got up to head to my car where my brother was waiting. While walking I felt my phone buzz. I pulled it out to find that she responded. 

' hey...I would love to!'

I couldn't keep the smile off my face. I sent a response before pocketing my phone, the smile never leaving my face.

I was out with Rita and we walked into this adorable looking cafe. I was looking around and then spotted a beautiful y/h/c hair girl working at the counter. I wasn't paying attention to where I was walking and I ran right into a plant. I could hear Rita laughing beside me. " Real smooth." She said through her laughs 

I felt my face getting warm and looked anywhere, but the girl working the counter. " What even made you space out?" Rita asked if I didn't make any move to answer. " Wait, don't tell me it's because of the girl." She said 

I felt my face heat up which made Rita let out a laugh. " It's the girl, holy shit. Do you want me to get her number for you?" She asked 

I shook my head. Soon we were the next ones in line. I was getting more nervous. " Hello, what can I get you?" She asked 

Her voice was like music to my ears. Rita went first to order her drink. Then her gorgeous eyes landed on me. " I'll just have a small coffee." She nodded and told me the amount before I handed her the cash. "Keep the change." I said 

" Oh um, I personally can't take tips." She softly said 

" But I insist that you keep it." I said before walking to the side waiting for my drink. Rita nudged me and gave me a teasing smile, which made me roll my eyes. " Joshua!" She called out, making me turn to the counter. I walked over and grabbed both drinks. " Thanks..." I said pausing 

She smiled before saying, " Y/n" 

Your POVI watched him walk away with a beautiful girl. I shouldn't be surprised that a cute guy in LA is already taken, it happens to me more then you can count. I then started going back to work.

I just got back to my dorm room and I was leaning against my small kitchen waiting for the leftovers to warm up. I tried to find the guys' socials just so I can do a little stalking. I know I shouldn't because he's got a girlfriend. Before I even got a chance to stalk him my food was ready. 

Joshua's POV

All night I couldn't stop thinking of the girl I met at the cafe. I started spamming Rita about what I was thinking, but of course she didn't answer me. So I just decided to try to fall asleep.

I woke up and decided to go back to the cafe to see if I could talk to her some more. I quickly got up and ready before grabbing my keys and headed out the door. 

While I was driving I was getting a little nervous because I'm about to see the cute girl from yesterday. I pulled into the parking lot not realizing how close I lived to it. I took some deep breaths before I walked in. I scanned the front but I didn't see her which made me wonder. 

" Hi, what can I get you?" I heard which made me look. I told him my order then I got the urge to just ask about her. 

" Is Y/n working today by chance?" 

He looked over, " Yea, she works the closing shift." 

I nod and tell him thanks before going over to the other side to wait for my drink.

Your POV

I rushed into the cafe throwing my hair up trying not to be late due to my class running late. 

" Hey Dean" I said to my co-worker

He waved while still serving customers. I moved to help out with making the drinks and soon the evening rush died down. 

" A guy asked about you this morning while you were in class." he told me

I looked up from cleaning the coffee maker. " What?" I asked 

He smirked, " Yea he had brown curls." I felt a smile form only to hear Dean teasing voice. " Ooh, does someone have a crush." 

" No, don't start." I said 

Dean chuckled and went back to cleaning then the door rang due to the little bell in the cafe door. " Oh look, your crush walked in." Dean said 

I looked up confused then down. " Shit." I whispered to myself 

" He's all yours Y/n/n." Dean said walking into the back to do god knows what. " Hey." I softly said while wiping my hands on my apron

" Hey" He said 

" Can I get you anything?" I asked 

" You're number maybe?" He said confidently 

I looked at him a little shocked. " How about you order something first?" 

He smiled and ordered a drink. I went to make his drink and then I wrote on the side of his cup. 'take me out first' 

" Here's your drink." I said 

Joshua's POV

She handed me my drink and I went to ask but saw her note and chuckled. " Okay fair, would you like to go out with me after your shift maybe." I said nervously since I was sure she already had plans. I heard her let out a giggle. " Wait, what about your girlfriend?" she said, making me confused. " I don't have one, oh wait are you talking about Rita." I questioned 

She nods, " Oh she's my childhood friend." I said 

" Good to know, then sure I would love to go out with you after my shift." She said 

I smiled and nodded, " How much longer are you on for?" 

She looked at the clock. " In about five minutes." I nodded and went to the side so I could keep talking to her.

" So do you normally work the night shifts." I questioned 

She smiled while tucking her hair behind her ear that I was staring at trying not to do it myself. " Yea cause I have classes in the morning." She said 

I raised my brow, " College?" I questioned 

She chuckled and nodded while going back to cleaning the counters.

I smiled at her from across the table while she was telling me what happened to her in class. " This really happened." I said with a chuckle 

She nods, " Yea my pen flung out of my hand hitting the person across from me." We laughed some more and soon the date was coming to an end which made me sad. " I don’t want this to end." I softly said 

She smiled and gently placed her hand on my own hand that was on the table. " Maybe we can go out on another one soon." She softly said 

" Sounds like a plan, but I think you still owe me your number." I teased 

She smiled and held her hand out. " Phone" which makes me hand her my phone 

" Call me for the next one." She whispered, kissing my cheek making me get flustered. I'm so glad I paid cause I got up to follow after her. 

" Thanks for dinner, Josh." She softly said 

" No problem, can't wait to do it again, Y/n." I said watching her get in the car. I couldn't help but keep the dopey smile on my face, while already thinking of ideas for the next one.

Your POV

I was standing in line for my long best friend Josh's concert. I was on my phone as well due to texting Tanner about surprising Josh. 

'Can you help me surprise Josh?' I sent 

He immediately texted back. 'Yes, you coming to the concert tonight then?' 

'Yup in the line right now.' I sent back 

Tanner and I talked some more before he had to help Josh with some stuff. 

Getting through security wasn't super hard which after that I made my way to the stage for my spot where I texted Tanner my location so he would know when Josh does the walk through the crowd. 

Joshua's POV

I was warming up while Thomas was taking the stage. I saw Tanner pull his phone out again. 

" Dude, who's blowing up your phone?" I asked with a chuckle 

Tanner looked up at me. " Don't worry about it. Worry about warming up." He said before leaving which had me confused cause we don't generally keep secrets from each other. 

" Josh, you're up in five minutes." 

I nodded and did some last minute warm ups before heading to the stage. 

Your POV

I was having a blast already and when Josh walked up on stage like his energetic self it made me happy. I screamed and sang along with all the fans.

" Oh guys where did he go?" I heard Josh say but I didn't see him on stage anymore. 

" Oh right over here." He said and went to sing while shaking, high fiving the fans which made me smile even harder since he’s come a long way. 

I saw Tanner first and gave him a smile which got me one back.

Joshua's POV

I was singing when I saw a familiar face. I pulled her into a hug while still singing. Feeling her arms wrap around me made me smile even more. I pulled back before continuing the walk through. The whole song I couldn't keep the smile off my face due just from seeing her again in person instead through a phone screen. 

Your POV

I couldn't keep a smile off my face, seeing him in person again brings me so much joy and happiness. I could tell the fans I was around were jealous that he hugged me and not them.

The concert ended which had me standing in the main hall where all the fans were leaving, but I saw that Tanner texted me about him coming to get me. I then saw some of the girls I was standing next to come up to me. They started rushing out a bunch of questions. I couldn't understand them all because they were talking over each other. I then saw one of the security guards that worked at tonight's concert. I also caught a glance at Tanner in the corner. 

" Let the girl breathe." The guard said, making me smile and thank him before going into the direction I saw Tanner. I walked in the hallway and whispered shouted...

" Tanner!" 

I jumped when I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned around. " Don't do that. " I said hitting his shoulder only made him laugh more.

" Sorry, but it's good to have you back." He said pulling me into a hug before leading the way to Josh's dressing room. Walking to the dressing room was making me nervous even though Josh and I have been friends since the acting community. 

" Yo! Josh." Tanner called out while walking into the room

I walked in behind him smiling. I saw Rita and waved since she was also looking over Woody. 

Joshua's POV

I came around the corner hearing Tanner's voice. " What's up man?" I asked and looked up only to pause seeing her again.

" Hey Josh" She said 

Hearing her soft voice in person again made me giddy. I smiled and walked over to her. " Hey Y/n" I whispered 

She pulled me into another hug but this one was much longer. I let out a soft sigh. " You don't understand how happy I am that you're here." I said while pulling back 

She gave me a smile. " We'll believe it cause I'm not leaving for a while." She said 

I looked up and smiled, " You're staying for a while?" I questioned her

She nods to confirm what she said was true. I couldn't keep the smile off my face. I picked her up and spun around in excitement. Hearing the giggles come along with it made me even more happy. 

I then gently let her back down so her feet touched the ground. "I can't wait, maybe you can hang with us during the tour and..." I knew I was ranting but I was just so happy she was back.

" Josh!" She called out while holding me steady. She still had that smile on her face. " I'll do really anything cause I missed hanging out together so if you want me to come along, I will go anywhere with you all." She explained 

Only to make me smile bigger and nod. " It's definitely what I want." I said 

She nods, " Then let's finish this tour together and explore states and cities together." She said smiling 

It was gonna be even more fun on tour with this amazing talented girl I like to call my best friend. Well, for now hopefully I get the courage to actually ask her out.

Your POV

I was lying on one of the couches that was in the studio. Josh was recording his first ever album and I couldn't have been more proud of him. I heard the sound of paws hitting the ground so I looked over and saw Woody. I gently moved my left hand closer to the ground to give him some attention while we waited for Josh. 

" That was fantastic Josh." The producer said 

I looked over to the producer then to Josh who was sitting in the booth. Just by his expressions I could tell he was having a hard time. I got up and motioned to Tanner who was also with us that I was going to check on him. He nodded and informed the producer they should take a five minute break. 

Once I got the okay to walk in the booth I didn't waste another second. I gently pushed the door open. 

"Baby..." I whispered softly while walking over to him

He looked up and I could tell he was tired from the long studio days. I gently pulled him into my arms which resulted in his head resting on my chest. 

" Try not to stress yourself out baby." I whispered while gently running my hands through his hair. I heard him take a deep breath, but didn't make a move to leave the comfort of my arms just yet.

He moved out of my arms still taking small deep breaths to calm his stress level. " Maybe you should call it a day." I softly suggested while rubbing his back some

" I can't just stop, I have a deadline Y/n." He said 

I pulled my hand back to my side. " Josh, I'm not asking you to stop, I'm telling you to take a break. You've been in the studio for over two weeks now. You need rest, you're exhausted." I softly explained 

" I will when I get this song down." He said stubbornly 

I sighed, " Joshua, come on. Your voice needs a break. Just let me take you back to the apartment so you can rest." I said 

" I can't okay, you don't get it cause you're not a singer. It needs to be perfect so please let me be." He said annoyed and put his headphones back on.

I know he was stressed and it shouldn't hurt, but it does. I just left the booth and walked back to the couch and blocked out the studio with my headphones. 

Joshua's POV

Right after those words left my mouth I felt bad. I wanted to go out of the booth and comfort her, but I know she would rather have some time to calm down just like me because of my stress level. I went back to trying to figure out the song and how to make it better, but my mind kept wandering to the beautiful girl on the other side of the glass. 

" Hey, um can we pick this back up tomorrow?" I asked through the mic

" Yea, it's not a problem go get some rest man." my producer said 

I nodded and stood up and left the booth which made Woody run over to me. " Hey buddy." I softly said and gave his ear a couple good scratches. I then walked over to the couch. 

"Y/n/n..." I softly said 

She just gave me a glance. I sighed and got to her level.

" Can you look at me please." I asked 

I knew she was ignoring me, which I don't blame her because from her point of view it most likely hurt her feelings. I place one of my hands on her arm. " Hey babe." I said 

She looked over and I could tell by her eyes that was hurt. I frowned and said low enough so we were the only ones that could hear. 

" I'm sorry, can we head to the apartment?" 

She sighed but nodded, so we packed some stuff then said goodbyes and I picked Woody up.

Your POV

I stepped out of the bathroom drying my hair with a towel. " Can we please talk now?" Josh said 

I looked over to him and nodded. I walked over and sat down. " Josh, I was just trying to help." I whispered 

He sighed and nodded, " I know and what I said I didn't mean it. Believe me please." he said 

I just looked over to him. " Still doesn't mean you should have said it." I whispered 

" I know and I'll keep apologizing. It's just this is my first album. I'm terrified no ones gonna like it and-" I immediately cut him off right there. " Baby....Don't do that. Your songs are amazing and if one likes them, then screw them. I'll be your biggest fan." I reassured 

He smiled. " You really mean that." 

" I wouldn't lie to you." I whispered 

He pulled me into a sweet soft kiss. " I love you." he whispered into the kiss

I smiled as well, " I love you more." 

He pulled away some, "Impossible." 

I let out a small chuckle making him smile more. He kissed me once again knowing that I would support him no matter what comes our way.

I was in the kitchen making cookies when I got this sharp pain in my stomach. I steadied myself with the counter. When I felt good to move I walked right to the bathroom to see if my monthly visiter came and I was right. I looked around to find a my things for it, when I found them I noticed I was low on pads. I sighed but quickly finished in the bathroom and walked back to the kitchen to try and finish baking.

I kept feeling sharp pains which were bothering me, but I kept pushing through it.

Joshua's POV

I was in the studio today recording for my new album. I was taking a small break at the moment and couldn't help, but think of Y/n/n.

" Josh 10 more minutes than back to work." the producer said

I nodded and went through my socials until then.

I was officially done recording for the day, which means I was able to go home to Y/n. I got to my car and started it and drove.

Your POV

I finished baking half the cookie dough when I got more intense cramps making me stop all together. I moved to the couch and curled up to help my stomach pain. All I could think about was Josh and wishing he was here with me.

I finally heard the door open after an hour of silence. I then heard his calming voice.

" I'm home...did you make something?" he questioned

I just hummed in response. I had my eyes squeezed shut feeling another strike of pain hit me. I heard his footsteps coming over to the living room.

" You okay..." he asked with concern

I opened my eyes. " Just cramps." I whispered

He nodded walking closer to me. He sat next to me and said, " Need anything, baby." Pulling Me into his side while rubbing my arm. "I'm running low on pads, maybe some chocolate." I whispered

He let out a small chuckle. " Anything for you, love. But before I run to the store, why don't I run you a warm bath."

I looked up at him. " Really, you would do that." I said softly

" Of course, anything to make my girl happy." He said kissing the side of my head before standing up to set up my bath.

Joshua's POV I walked into the bathroom getting out some relaxing things to put in her bath. I made sure the water was warm enough for her. I light some candles, put her water bottle and one of her books on the tray lying a crossed the tub. I then walked back to the living room to grab her.

" Are you ready?" I questioned

She smiled and nodded reaching for my out stretched hand. I helped her off the couch and led her into the bathroom.

" Josh..." She whispered when she saw it

I was gonna say something, but she interrupted me. " You didn't have to do all this." I could hear her voice crack. " Baby, don't cry...I just wanted you to be comfortable." I said pulling her into me

I rubbed her back and let her to get her emotions out. She pulled away after a couple seconds to look back at the scene.

" It's all for you..." I said gently taking her phone from her pocket to play her music on low. She turned to face me, " Thank you..." She whispered giving me a soft smile.

" You're welcome, before I head to the store, do you need anything else?" I questioned her

She fiddled with her fingers before asking. " Maybe some of the cookies that are ready." I smiled, " Anything for you angel."

I walked out of the room to grab her some cookies.

Your POV

I watched him leave before I then stripped and got into the bath carefully. I let out a soft sigh of relief. I heard a chuckle, and turned my head to find Josh walking back in. " I see you are already feeling better." He said placing my plate of cookies down. " Well it feels good on my muscles." I said

He smiled and kneeled down. " I bet, okay I'll be back." He said giving me a kiss

I smiled and nodded, kissing back. I watched him leave a second time before sinking more into the water to relax.

Joshua's POV

It took me an hour to get back to the house due to LA traffic. I walked up to our door and opened it. When I walked in it was eerie quiet again.

" Babe..." I said walking to set the bags down on the kitchen counter. I headed to the bathroom forty only to find it empty making me nervous. I walked into our bedroom next to find her curled up to her chest. I let out a soft sigh of relief walking over to her. I rested a gentle hand on her shoulder. She stirred some before her eyes fluttered open.

" Josh..." She whispered

I moved to sit against the headboard. " It's me Y/n/n." I softly said

She smiled and rolled over to rest her head on my chest making me smile. " Does you stomach still hurt?" I questioned with a little bit of concern

She snuggled into me a little more making me pull her closer. " A little bit." She whispered

I nodded and moved my hand over to her stomach and started making little circles hoping to ease the pain some. I heard her let out a sigh of relief. " Does that feel good?" I questioned

She hummed in agreement making me continue to do the small motion so she could keep the happy smile. I also pecked her head a couple times just to see her cuddle into me more.

Juke request -The pattersons and Molinia are family friendls for years ans neighbors Luke's 2 years older than Julie (16), julie and Luke starts getting sick (flu) at school and sent to the nurse (she sneakily texts Luke whats wrong and going on,he's julie ride home come gind out hes not feeling so hot either )  Luke shows up to nurses   sick (headache fever, etc) after convincing they are sent home, and takes care of each other maybe all weekend (thermometer checks, soup, meds comforting ) (each respective parents went away for the week) and along the way they admit they like each other  and get together (fluff caring please). Julie's POV

I was sitting in my math class feeling like the room was spinning. I looked over at the teacher to find her not paying attention so I took my phone out to text Luke about not feeling well.

'Luke I'm feeling super dizzy.'

I sent it, but dint get a respond right away. I knew if I stayed like this it would only get worse so I carefully packed my things since I knew I wasn't coming back to class due to class was about 20 mins away from being done. I slowly walked over to my teacher to ask if I could go to the nurse.

" Mrs. Robinson, I was wondering if I could go to the nurse." I softly asked

She looked up and scanned me over before writing me a pass to the nurse. I quietly thanked her before heading down.

It took me a little while to get down there, but I made it. I walked into the room not noticing Luke sitting on one of the beds.

" What can I do for you Julie?" She questioned

I held on to my backpack straps. " I feel super dizzy, and it feels really warm." I said softly

She sighed, but said..." Go sit over on the empty bed by Luke."

I looked over to find Luke. I slowly moved over to sit down. " Seems like we're both under the weather." Luke said softly

I gave him a soft smile. I saw the nurse come back over. " I called both your houses, but there was no answer. Do you both think you can handle the last couple classes." She asked us

I didn't think I could cause every time I stood up it made me dizzy. So that's what I told her. " I don't think I could, I get super dizzy just from standing." I said with a slight cough

She hummed and looked over at Luke. " And you Luke?" she questioned

" I'm fine other than getting hot and cold flashes." he explained

She nodded, " Let me just check your temperature." She said while walking away to grab that."

" Julie you all right? You're looking a little pale." Luke asked with concern

Before I could get anything out I grabbed a near by trash can. As I emptied my stomach Luke moved over to my side and rubbed my back.

" Oh dear..." the nurse said when she come back over then said, "Okay, Julie you will be going home if I can get ahold of your parents. Luke lets take your tempter."

Luke's POV

She put the thermometer in my mouth and we waited. It then beeped so she took to out to see it was close to a fever, but not 100% one yet. She then went back to the room she keeps the supplies. I glanced back to Julie to find her with her eyes closed.

" Jules you okay?" I whispered to her

She opened her eyes and nodded, but I could tell by her face she wasn't. I was going to say something, but the nurse came back out. "All right Julie still no answer do you have anyone else that could pick you up." She softly said

Julie shook her head. I looked over at the nurse and said...

" I can drive her back."

She looked over to me. " Luke, I'm not aloud to unless a parent knows where their child is."

I sighed and tried again. " I get that, but we're family friends we live right next to each other."

She sighed again. " Julie, you okay with him taking you." She questioned

Julie nodded in agreement making me smile and look over at the nurse. " Okay, give me a minute and I'll walk with you guys to the office and explain." She said before walking into her little room and reached for the phone before closing the door.

I then moved my eyes over to her. " Even though I'm sick..." I paused to make sure she was looking. " Doesn't mean I won't take care of you." I finished

She looked over at me and said...

" What if you get worse?"

I shrugged, " I don't mind really I'm fine right now." I told her while grabbing her hand in mine and squeezed it.

Julie smiled and squeezed mine back. The nurse come back and made us follow her to the office.

We were in the driveway of my house and we stayed in the car for a little. I glanced over at her to make sure she was still doing okay.

" You think you can walk the short distance to your house or do you rather just head into mine." I softly questioned

" Can we just go in yours since it's closer."

I immediately nod and got out of my car and moved over to the passenger side. I opened her door and held my hand out for her to grab. She gave me a weak smile and grabbed my hand.

" Thank you." she weakly said

I nodded and led her to my front door. Once I got the door open I walked us to the living room.

" Here you sit right there and I will get you some pain medication." I said walking to the kitchen and walked over to the cabinet and took two before moving to get water. I then brought to over to her.

" Here." I whispered sitting next to her.

She gave me a soft smile and took the medication, I gave her a small smile, " How about you just rest now." I said

" Before I do can I say something." She softly said

Julie's POV

I was nervous to tell him. Luke looked over at me, " Jules you don't have to be nervous." he said

I gave him a small smile. " I know." I whispered

It took me a little bit to get the words out. " I know you're older than me Luke, but I can't help how I feel. I mean if you don't like me that's fine. Um then we can pretend this didn't happen." He interrupted me

Luke rested his hands on my knees. " Jules it's okay..." he paused and took a deep breath. " I like you too." he said

I sniffed a little before saying..." Really"

He let out a soft chuckle. " Yes really."

I felt myself smile. " I would ask for you to kiss me, but..." he interrupted me with his soft lips. " Luke." I exclaimed a little once he pulled away

He had a small smirk, " What?" he said

" You're gonna get more sick." I said concerned

He kissed me again before pulling away. " Already, almost to being sick, love." He said while pushing a piece of my hair back.

Your POV

We were all in Max's trailer trying to come up with a plan to kill Vecna. I was standing by the phone with Max next to me. 

" So, how are we supposed to take him down?" I questioned 

" I was thinking we could all go in groups so some go to the upside down while the other half go to the Creel house." Nancy stated to us

" So who's going where?" Robin questioned 

Before anyone could answer, the phone rang, making me turn to answer. " Hello?" I questioned 

" Do you like scary movies?" they asked 

" Who is this?" I was confused with the questions they randomly asked. 

They responded back with, " Tell me your name, I'll tell you mine." 

I immediately responded with, " I don't think so." I hung up the phone. I then took a deep breath. " Who was that?" Steve questioned 

I turned around to face the group. I shrugged, " I don't know if some guy asked me if I liked scary movies." I explained 

" Well, that's not creepy?" Max said next to me

" Yea..." before I could get anything else out the phone rang again. 

" Is he calling again?" Dustin questioned 

I groaned and mumbled. " He better not." 

I picked the phone up and said. " Listen asshole..." Only to get interrupted 

" No, you listen here you little bitch. You hang up on me again and I'll cut you like a fish understand." I felt a huge chill go through my whole body. I dropped the phone making Max pick it up and put it back on the wall. 

" Did he just say that?" Nancy said 

Steve's POV

I kept my eyes on Y/n cause she looked pale after what he said on the phone. I stood up and walked over to her slowly. Once I reached her I put a gentle hand on her shoulder. " Are you doing okay?" I quietly said 

She shook her head. " I just got threatened by someone." She mumbled 

Which made me pull her into me. " Hey, we're going to figure this out." I reassured her

I glanced at the rest of the group hoping they knew what to do. " How about we track the number?" Robin questioned 

" We would if we knew the number." Dustin stated 

They all let out a sigh of defeat. I slightly glared at them and pointed to the shaking friend." Guys were going to find out who it is." I said hoping it was cheerful enough

I kept trying to calm Y/n down which was slowly working. " We're going to catch who did this. Okay don't worry." I whispered to her. 

She nodded and pulled away, but stayed close to my side. 

" So what's the plan?" Nancy questioned 

" Well, we could always wait for another call and see if we can track the number." Robin once again suggested 

" What if this person doesn't call right away." Max asked 

I was about to say something, but there was a knock on the door. " Who's that?" Robin mouthed 

Which only made me shrug my shoulders. I let go of Y/n/n and walked over to the door. I went to open it, but got stopped by someone grabbing my arm. I turned to find Y/n looking terrified. " What if it's him?" She whispers with a shaky tone. I never thought about that. " Well if it is, we're sitting ducks right now." Eddie said which was a fact. 

I backed away from the door. " Well we can't stay in here even if it is a random person pranking her." I said 

Your POV

I moved over to the couch next to Nancy and Eddie. I didn't want to tell them how much I was panicking, but I am. I kept asking myself if I was going to die. I mean I'm only eighteen, which is way too young to stop living. I was terrified, I snapped back to reality by Nancy and Eddie trying to get my attention. 

" Hey Y/n/n...you okay?" Nancy questioned 

" What..." I questioned and paused some before saying, " Yea, I'm fine. Don't worry." I said softly 

Dustin came over to me. " It's okay if you're not okay...you know that right." He calmly said 

I bit my bottom lip a little. " I'm just scared, what if it's not some prank and I actually get..." I got interrupted 

" Don't say that, okay. We're going to keep you safe. I'll keep you safe." Steve said 

I was fiddling with my fingers while listening to Steve. I saw Dustin's hand grab my right while Nancy took my left. Steve then squatted down in front of me putting his hands on my knees. 

" We're all right here, Y/n/n." Robin softly said 

I looked around at everyone in the small trailer we were in. I jumped a little when there was another knock. I felt Steve slowly rub reassuring circles on my knee. 

" Nobody moves a muscle." Steve whispered 

It happened again, making us all go quiet. It didn't stop. " Maybe we should see who it is?" Erica whispered finally speaking 

" What if it's the person from the phone?" Max questioned 

" Who is it?" Dustin asked

Which made Steve and Eddie scold him. " That's how people die in horror movies." Eddie whispered 

Before any of us could say something the person at the door spoke. " It's Lucas..." they said 

We all stayed quiet. " Dustin, Max, Erica. I know you guys are inside." he said 

Dustin motioned for Max to look out the window. She walked over slowly, then peeked around the corner. " It's him." she said, walking over to the door to pull it open. " Wait Max, make sure it's actually him." Dustin said 

She thought, but got stopped before she could say something. " What happened at the Mall last summer?" Erica said 

" We were fighting the Mind Flyer." he said 

Everyone let out a sigh of relief which made Max open the door. " I'm so sorry, Y/n/n." he immediately said after walking in. 

" What do you mean by that, Sinclair?" Steve said with a protective tone

Lucas put his hands up...

" Steve, it wasn't me. Believe me, it was one of the guys on the basketball team." 

" Well, that's not cool man. Tell your friends to shut it down." Steve warned 

Lucas sighed, " They weren't actually going to do anything. They just wanted to scare her plus they saw it in a movie." He explained 

Steve let out a breath of relief and rubbed my knees. " You doing okay now, Y/n." 

I smiled and nodded, " Still a little shaken, but knowing everything was a prank I'm doing better," 

He gave me a gentle smile. " Good, so back to the plan, people." He ordered while sticking close to me now, not that I minded.

Cole's POV

I was sitting around my dining room table with my brothers due to getting in trouble at school. I was growing tired of sitting here not wanting to talk to Alex after he told the school how I bawled to mom and dad about when my football dreams ended, even though I didn't start any rumors about him. Danny was reading his lines, making everyone get annoyed. 

" Yeah, I'm with Isaac. Stop. And you guys, can you just, like, figure this out? Because, like this fight is affecting all of us now." Nathan said  

" Really? It seems like it's mainly affecting me, though, right?" I then moved my head to my eye. " You know, the one with the black eye?" I stated 

Which made all my brothers look over at me, I let out a sigh before saying,  " All right, fine, I didn't spread the rumor about you crying like a little bitch, I wish I had, of course cause you snitched me to Dad, but I didn't." 

" I didn't snitch." Alex said 

All I did was give him a look which made him sigh. " Okay. I should have said,"no" instead of nothing to Dad, but I didn't because of what you said about Jackie and Y/n at the bonfire." 

Which only got the rest of the talking, " What did you say about them at the bonfire?" Lee questioned 

" Yeah, I kind of wanna know too." Danny said 

" You guys, can we focus?" Nathan questioned 

" You know what, Alex? I forgive you for punching me. But I'm really sorry that you can't get over how jealous you are of me." I said 

He leaned up some more. " Jealous? Who could be jealous of someone who clearly peaked their sophomore year of high school?" He said 

I didn't even listen to the others. All I did was get up to go fight him again. " Come over and say that again?" I said only to get stopped by Danny.

" Maybe I will." Alex responded 

" Yo, Nathan, Guys, Nathan!" Lee shouted 

I immediately stopped and went down to him. " Mom! Somebody get Mom and Dad. Go!" I said panicking

We were all in the waiting room. All I could do was stare at the wall in front of me. The doctor came which made me stand up along with everyone else, after he told us things Mom and Dad went with him while I sat back down. I pulled out my phone to call Jackie, but decided to call Y/n. I couldn't help, but feel super anxious while listening to the ringing. 

Your POV

I was finishing up some homework when my phone rang. I picked it up to find it was Cole. Even though I was still mad at him I answered because he normally never calls me. 

"Hello" I said 

All I heard was his sigh of relief. " Cole, you never call unless it's important." I said leaning back into my chair. 

" I'm in the hospital..." he started, but immediately got interrupted by me. " What! Are you okay?" I said panicking 

" It's Nathan...he had a seizure...and I'm scared." he replied 

I stood up rushing to my closet to put shoes on. " Is there anything you need?" I questioned with concern holding my phone to my ear with my shoulder while I slipped my shoes on. What I heard next made me feel butterflies. " I need you." he whispered with a voice crack

Which made my heart break. " I'm on my way, Cole. Hang in there okay." I said

I quickly found a parking spot and rushed inside the hospital. I scanned the waiting room and quickly found the Walters. I ignored the other ones for right now, my main focus was Cole who was leaning forward on his knees. 

" Hey, come here." I softly said when I was close

He stood up and put his arms around my waist and pulled me into him. I gently drew circles on his back to calm him further. " I'm right here, I'm not leaving." I whispered 

Danny's POV

I looked up when I heard Y/n's soft voice. She completely ignored us and I'm pretty sure it wasn't on purpose. I just watched them hug when I heard Isaac questioned me, " I thought they weren't talking right now?" I sighed, " Yea, but it's Y/n. She would do anything for him even if she was mad." I explained while still watching them. I then heard more footsteps to find Mom and Dad again. 

"All right guys, um Nathan's going to be fine. He'll come back home tomorrow so why don't you guys head back home." Mom said 

Your POV

I pulled away from Cole to find Katherine and George. She looked surprise to see me. " Oh, Y/n I didn't know you came." She said

I walked up to them. " Sorry, this one called and I couldn't not show up." I said pointing to Cole. She nodded and pulled me into a hug. " Well, I'm glad you did. I swear he's always in a better mood when you're around." 

I smiled before pulling away then hugging George quickly. " Well if any of you want to ride with me I don't mind. I only saw Cole raise his hand a little. I nodded before giving the others quick hugs before heading out to take Cole back to the ranch house while Danny drove the rest.

We were about 10 minutes away from the ranch house. I glanced over at Cole in my passenger seat. " You doing okay, Cole." I whispered while moving my eyes back to the road.

I let out a shaky breath. " It's fine, you know I can't stay mad at you." 

" I..." I stopped him

" Let's just talk when you are more rested." I suggested 

He nodded, I then parked my car and waited for him to get out. " You know you can come in." he whispered 

" It's okay, I just wanted to make sure you were okay." I said leaning my head on the headrest. 

" But I want you to come in." he said softly 

I glanced over at him and felt bad for him. " Okay..." I whispered while I got out of my car after I shut it off. 

We both walked to the front door and walked into his house after he unlocked it. " You want to go lie down?" I whispered closing the door

He didn't answer. All he did was walk up the stairs. I followed him up the stairs, we then walked right into his shared room with Danny. I saw him just lie down. I sighed a little and went to pull his shoes off. " Hey you don't need too." he said sitting up

" No, it's fine. I don't mind." I said 

" Here, let me change and fine something for you." he said 

I stopped and watched as he got up to get clothes. He walked over to me with one of his shirts. "Here you can wear this." He said handing me the shirt. I smiled a little and moved to change in the bathroom. 

Once I was done I walked back to his room, to see him in bed already. " Come in." he whispered 

I smiled a little and climbed in. " You know, Cole. Your brother is going to be okay." I whispered to him

" How do you know?" he whispered back

I turned to face him. " Because Nathan is strong and he will not let this ruin him." I softly said 

He looked over at me with a slight smile. " Thank you, Y/n/n." 

" No, need to thank me. Get some rest." I whispered going deeper into the covers. He let his hand intertwine with mine before he fell asleep. I smiled before also going to sleep.

Your POV

I was watching Julie on stage, when I saw the guys popping in. I felt myself smile until I noticed Luke having trouble. I grew nervous just watching him until I heard his voice. " I'm going out of my mind!" 

I was cheering them on from the crowd. I noticed Luke glancing my way a couple of times, which made me blush. I knew I shouldn't be nervous with him looking over at me, but I am. I was having the best time dancing and singing along. 

Once the show ended I felt a wave of sadness because I knew Luke, Reggie and Alex left for good. I felt a hand on my shoulder and spun around to find my dad. 

" Let's go find your sister." he said 

I smiled a little and nodded kind of zoned out since all I could think about was Luke right now. I followed behind my brother still thinking about how we didn't get a proper good-bye.

When we found Julie I couldn't help but run over to her. "Omg! You did amazing on that stage." I said while wrapping my arms around her. She chuckled a little and thanked me. She then hugged everyone else while I stood back to get ready to leave. 

Julie's POV

After the hugs I could tell Y/n/n was thinking about the boys as much as I was. I knew she was feeling down for not getting to say good-bye. 

I waited until the three other members of our family was in front of us before I linked our arms to comfort her. She just gave me a smile before holding my arm a little tighter.

We all were singing on the way to the front door until I paused looking over at the studio. " I'll be inside in a little bit." I told them

They nodded, but before she could sneak away I grabbed her wrist. "You want to come with me." I asked hopeful 

She looked over at me and I could tell she was hurting. " I can't walk in there, I'm sorry." She pulled her wrist out of my grip and rushed inside. I let out a deep sigh feeling bad for her. I just wish I could help her, but I know she just needs time to heal. 

I then decided to go to the studio to go and talk even though they're gone now. As I was talking I heard a grunt so I immediately flicked the light on to find all three of them on the ground in pain. I felt overwhelmed with sadness. I kept telling them to go since they did their unfinished business. 

Your POVI left Julie outside to immediately rush inside to my room to let my emotions out. I closed the door and crumbled to the ground not having the energy to stand anymore. This felt like the worst pain ever and I didn't like it. 

Julie's POV

I could feel tears falling down my face and when Luke went in for a hug my brain forgot that it wouldn't work, but what shocked me was that I could feel him. I pulled away and saw that he was glowing so I called...

" Alex, Reggie!" which made the both of them come over to me and we all did a group hug. We then started to jump around in a circle making me laugh. 

We then pulled away to find their marks that they got from the club were disappearing. " Julie, where's your sister?" Luke questioned 

I totally forgot about her. I looked over at the three of them. " She went to her room. She is pretty devastated because she thinks you guys are gone." I explained, but right after I finished Luke disappeared. I glanced at the other two confused where they looked more concerned. 

Luke's POV

I popped into her room feeling my heart break from the sight in front of me. I was super hesitant to walk over to her. I didn't want to startle her in any way. I quietly walked over, " Y/n/n...." I softly questioned 

I could see her freeze. " You're not real, it's not real." she mumbled 

I was now behind her. I gently tapped her shoulder making her jump. She stood up and spun around. I couldn't tell what she was thinking. I went to ask her something, but she immediately started spitting words out. She was making it hard to answer them so I softly placed my hands on her shoulders. " How...how?" She questioned 

I looked amazed again. " I'm honestly not sure myself, but I'm right here." I whispered 

She started crying again making me nervous not knowing what to do. " Hey, hey, it's okay." I whispered, wiping her tears. I smiled some when she calmed down and then admitted. 

" I heard the song you sang to Julie." 

She immediately started blushing, making me laugh. " You were not supposed to hear that." She whispered 

I pulled her into a hug. " It's okay cause I actually really liked the song. I whispered 

Your POV

I couldn't believe I had my arms around Luke. This felt like a dream to me. He rubbed my back some. " What's on your mind?" he questioned 

I pulled away, " Just how all this is real. It feels like a dream." I whispered 

He smiled, " Well I'm here plus I'm still in my clothes from performing." He stated 

I nodded, " Luke about the song..." he interrupted me

He placed both his hands on my face. " Your song was amazing, plus no one's ever written me a song before." He said 

I blushed at his words and got lost in his eyes. I saw him lean in which made me nervous. " Is this okay?" he whispered only like an inch from my lips. 

I took a deep breath to get rid of the nerves. I then nodded, but he automatically said...

" Use your words Y/n/n." 

I immediately folded and whispered, " Yes it's okay." 

He then smiled and closed the gap. Feeling his lips on mine is making me get dizzy. He pulled away, but kept his forehead on mine. " How was that?" he whispered 

" Amazing." I mumbled 

He smiled down at me before kissing me again. All I'm saying is I could get used to the feeling of his lips.

Your POV

I was on my way to my last final until I could spend time at the summer house when I felt an arm go around me. I immediately smiled...

" Hey Noah." I softly said 

I felt him kiss the side of my head. " Hey beautiful, heading to your last final." He said while walking with me

I nodded, " Yup, Are you done with yours." I questioned 

We stopped at the class room and he turned me around which made me smile. " I just had mine this morning. I'll see you in like an hour, baby." He said giving me a small peak so I could walk into the classroom. I went to take my seat and took a deep breath before the test. 

Noah's POV

After I left Y/n/n to go take her last final I went to the lounge to chill to wait for her since we were driving to the summer house she always goes to. I saw my friend in the lounge as well so I just talked with him. 

'hour later'

I heard my phone ring and looked over to see a picture of Y/n. I smiled and answered the call. 

" Hey, Baby" I said 

I could tell she was smiling through the phone. " Hi, where are you?" she questioned 

I chuckled, " I'm in the lounge with Jackson." 

She let out a chuckle as well. " Okay see you soon." She said hanging up 

" Was that Y/n/n." Jackson questioned 

I nodded and smiled, which just made him chuckle. 

Your POV

I saw the back of Noah's head and ran over to him. I wrapped my arms around him. " Hey babe." Noah said, kissing my head, Jackson just waved over at me. " So you both are excited to be at the summer house." Jackson questioned 

I immediately nodded, " I'm super excited to see everyone again and to introduce Noah." I explained 

Noah chuckled which made me happy to hear his laugh. I heard my phone ring, which made me pull it out of my pocket. " Hey Jere." I said into the phone 

" Hey Y/n/n, Are you both finished your finals." he questioned 

I let out a chuckle. " Yes, both of us are down. We're going to go pack my car soon so see you down there."  I explained 

I could tell he was smiling. " I can't wait." 

We both said our byes before hanging up the phone. " Hey babe, I think we should start heading out now." I softly said 

He smiled, saying a couple more things to Jackson before we made our way to grab our stuff. 

Conrad's POV

After that day I broke Y/n/n's heart. I've been regretting my decision. I've just been scared to talk to her. This will be the first year that we see each other cause the past summer she didn't even show up which hurt but also made me feel guilty. I just hope this summer is better. I was packing some stuff so I could make my flight. 

Your POV

I was in the passenger seat helping Noah with the directions. " So you are excited to meet everyone." I asked him 

He chuckled, " Babe, you asked me that five times already and my answer doesn't change." 

I giggled, " Sorry I'm just excited for you to see everyone." I said 

He put his right hand on my knee. " I know and I can't wait to meet them."  

I smiled and nodded while looking out the window.

I saw the sign to Cousin's Beach and squealed. " Omg! I can't believe I'm here again." I said opening my window 

I could feel Noah's eyes on me, but I didn't mind. Once we pulled into the driveway I saw Jere's jeep and Laurel's car. I reached over and honked the horn. I then immediately saw them rush out the door. I got out of the car and was immediately getting spun around by Jere. " I can't believe you're back!" 

I giggled, and went around hugging the other three. I then walked back over to Noah. " Where's Conrad?" I asked confused

" He's on his way, his flight just landed." Jere responded with 

I nodded, then turned to Noah. " Well guys this is Noah, the person I was talking about." I shyly said 

They all greeted him and then we went to my room. " So what do you think of them?" I softly said while putting some things away. 

" They all seem very friendly." He said 

Conrad's POV

I was taking an Uber since my car was at the beach house already. I felt nervous to see her again. When the car stopped I saw the house. I thanked the guy before grabbing my stuff and walking inside. " Hello?" I questioned since it was super quiet in the house. 

I then saw her peek around the corner. She looked different but in a good way. She gave me a small smile, then walked out from the kitchen. " Hey Conrad." She whispered 

I smiled, " Hey, how's college..." I paused ,my mouth still open to find a guy I didn't know making his way over to us. She smiled, " Oh Conrad this is Noah." 

All I did was stare and nod. I just knew that I lost her. " Um...where is everyone?" I questioned 

" Jere and Belly went to the beach. Steven's in his room and Laurel she went to the store." She said while Noah wrapped his arms around her. " I'm going to unpack." I whispered, feeling awkward now. 

I felt her eyes on me while I headed to the stairs to my room. 

Your POV

I sighed when Conrad left for his room. I felt Noah rub my arm. " What's wrong babe?" I just shook my head. " It's nothing really, we just had history." I whispered 

He just hummed and told me he was going to the pool outside. " Come with me." he whispered

" I'll come, just let me put on a swimsuit." He nodded giving me a quick kiss before I walked up stairs to my room. I was looking for a bikini when I heard Conrad's voice. I spun around to see him. " So when did you move on?" He questioned

I sighed, " It took me a good 8 months Conrad. Why?" I questioned 

He moved more into my room. " You know I regret saying what I said over text so much." 

I looked at him shocked. " Then why did you do it?" 

He shrugged, " I don't know, I thought I was losing feelings, but when you didn't come to the beach house last year it felt like a part of me was missing." he admitted 

" Conrad, I don't know what you want me to say." I whispered shocked 

" I know I'm sorry." he paused before asking, " Are you at least happy now?" 

I smiled, " I am and I don't mean to rub it in. Don't blame me Conrad, I felt super heartbroken about it." I said

All he did was nod. " Then can we at least try to be friends. " he whispered 

" Sure, but right now I was about to go in the pool so can we talk more later." I said 

He nodded and started walking out of my room. 

Conrad's POV

When I closed her door it felt like my heart was hurting from losing her all over again. I walked into my room wishing about my life choices. Hoping she was happy, but not happier when she was with me. I know that might be selfish for me to think, but at least I still have her as a friend.
