I haven't seen many fans talk about how Vlad is a foil to Valerie in the sense of how he is what she could turn into if she had let rage and desire for revenge consumed her for years and lose most of her morality.

The difference is that over time she chooses to open up to other people about her issues and she tries her best to remain herself in spite of her difficult situation

i don’t think mordecai and rigby were ever gay for each other but i do think many times rigby would be like dude if i was a girl would you want to fuck me and mordecai is like dude that’s weird. no. and rigby is all bent out of shape about it and in the middle of the night when they’re both trying to sleep he’s like why wouldn’t you fuck me if i was a girl. i’m cute right? or am i ugly and that’s why i’m single… and mordecai is like fine whatever i’d fuck girl you. stop bringing it up now. & the next day rigby is like fuck off muscle man i’m not ugly mordecai said he’d fuck girl me & then a portal opens to an alternate dimension where they’re genderbent like that adventure time episode and the voice of god is like mordecai you must make good on your word. fuck girl rigby.

This is one scene from ¨Torrent of Terror¨ that stands out to me for some reason. I think it is the way that Danny is in a battle stance but when Vlad approaches him and doesn't try attacking him, Danny changes his posture to a relaxed one and listens to what Vlad has to say. In response Vlad's angry face changes into something different (surprised? confused?) and then asks Danny for his help.

Maybe because it shows that if Vlad isn't doing anything bad nor Danny is looking to fight him... they wouldn't just normally attack each other? They would continue doing whatever they were doing and ignore each other. Maybe they would just throw insult but not much else.

I don't know. I just found interesting.

Trying to develop a realistic height chart for Vlad and Danny is proving interesting.

The above image is the most accurate reasonable scale of their heights I've managed to approximate from screencaps. If I'd stayed completely true to the caps, Vlad would probably be 6'5" and Danny 5-foot-nothing.

Their heights fluctuate so much throughout the series (sometimes for framing reasons, like that last cap from Reign Storm Pt. 1; if they'd shown Danny to height, we'd only be seeing him from the neck up, which looks bad on film). Based on just the caps, Danny (and all of his friends of the same age) seem extraordinarily short—either that or Vlad is extraordinarily tall. But as always, I concede that this is just a cartoon and cartoon style/physics applies.

Realistically I envision their heights to be more like this, a little closer to average:

So i had been thinking of how Vlad would look in his corrupt form in my Vlad Corrupt AU. I imagine him as something like in his ghost form (Plasmius) but bigger and taller, ¨covered in shadows¨, quite similar to how Shadow and Spectra in her true form look in the series.

As you can see, their body has a shadow like form with their eyes and mouth being the only things that aren't ¨shadow¨. I think Vlad's corrupt form for would be a lot like this, with his mouth and red eyes being visible features in contrast to the rest of his body.

I had considered that maybe he has a ghost tail and he is most of the time seen floating around but you can't see it since it is usually hidden under his cape if he is standing still. If he is flying fast it would be visible, like Danny's. He can still transform his ghost tail into legs if he wants. It is that he mostly floats.

He also has claws in his corrupt form that he can use to attack other ghosts and alike. They aren't huge but they are sharp enough to tear Skulker's armor if he applies power to them. He often leaves claw marks around on rocks and trees. Some are for him shapening them and others is because he acts quite a lot like a cat/bat for being corrupted.

On last point, his suit would be like part of his ¨skin¨ now. That he can't exactly take it off in his corrupted form. He can take off his cape, which would remain with same shadow like texture like he has. So if he gets hurt, then probably his suit would heal itself too while he is in this form.
