I just wanted to thank you for your Strange Case of Starship Iris art. I really love it all, but especially how you designed McCabe. You captured their demeanor so well, I can't stop looking at them and smiling. I really hope you enjoy season 3 when it comes out this summer! : )

tscosi wip 💫 i had the thought that this show deserves a mass effect-style cool sci-fi poster and then my pen slipped

did you know, baby, that hell smells just like jasmine? it’s true, it’s the orange blossoms, believe it or not— and oh, how that fragrance wafts over the groves each evening, the mountains pouring down behind them like shameless spills of ink— orange, pink, and purple subsurface scatter through the hands clasped around my throat, winching tighter with each small thing i remember you would have loved.

the utility poles here are costumed like the trees of a budget film set; the smog fashions itself mist, presumptuous as it smothers us all like a cheap weighted blanket, uncomforting and unceremonious— lumped, and heavy as your ashes on the mantle over my heart(h)—

for you, baby, i swear i’ll become the first strangler fig to rip down an orange tree— the first evergreen to ever flower and bear fruit—

i will not let this godless place be the desiccation of me.

i will never stop watering your bones, not ever, baby— not until i can lay down these cactus needles for pine, and flood the desert with redwoods that soar like miracles, tall enough to bring me back to you.

Stars, like seeds, are abundant.. There is also the isolating distance between them as they've spread. It can be lonely but hope you feel safe and loved and there's beauty in the homes we've made all over.

happy pride month, especially to anyone who's really going through it, anyone who's closeted or questioning, anyone marginalized even within the queer community, and anyone who worries they don't deserve a place at the queer table (you do).

in a world where so many of the powerful want us to stop existing and are doing their damnedest to make that happen, it is a radical act to care for yourself and a radical act to care for those in your community.
