Mars in the 6th House

Mars is now transiting through Taurus. I was born with Mars in Taurus in my 6th house. So I’m receiving an extra boost of this type of energy in my life right now.

Positives: I’m motivated to just go and go and go and get things done. Mars is physical drive and the 6th house is similar to the energy of Virgo (the 6th zodiac sign). Virgos hate anything to be incomplete. Mars in association with the energy of Virgo is really driven to complete things, to organize and make sense of them. I have been able to make lists and accomplish lots of things off of them.

Negatives: 6th house rules health and daily routine, also I believe that like Virgo, it rules parts of the nervous system and upper intestines. I’ve had extreme anxiety and my stomach has been turned upside down for days in a row. 6th house rules your work environment. Mars is combative and war-like. Yes I have been attracting more ridiculous problems at work left and right, which give me even more anxiety and stomach problems. Aries rules my 6th house, and guess who have been giving me the most problems? You guessed it! An Aries sun and an Aries moon. All of a sudden, things I’ve been doing routinely for years in my work environment are a problem. I’m getting scolding emails every day for the most petty reasons. For petty things that others around my work environment do frequently as well, yet who’s right smack dab in the middle of the radar?

It’s not just problems with co workers either, it’s being given many more problems to solve in my work duties as well.

I love so many things about Aries season/Spring/Equinox….but unfortunately when the energy of it passes through a certain area of my chart, these kids of things can happen. Being born with Mars in the 6th house already naturally brings these things into my life regularly, but when Mars is currently transiting that area, it’s double.

Mars only travels through a certain sign and through a certain area of your chart and life once every 2yrs. If I can think back to March and April 2013 and go through my emails, yes indeed, same things were happening then too. April and May 2011 when Mars transit my 6th house, I was having ridiculous issues at another job, which lead to me no longer working there as of May. 2 yrs before that, same thing. Just goes to show the cycles and patterns that the planetary transits go through, which in return causes cycles and patterns in your life if you pay attention to them. Next time, I will use this knowledge to my advantage and try to be ahead of the game. Make sure my 6th house is spotless when Mars comes through!

I’m trying to lay low and stay below the radar, just get things done and mind my own business, but still keep attracting problems. I need to get back in my meditation routine! Hopefully that will help. I just want to get things done and be left alone, seriously. No micromanagement necessary, but Mars in the 6th conjunct my Mars says bring it in I guess :/

Went on a very #soulhealing trip with my oldest son, a #PiscesRising #PiscesAscendant who really needed time by the #ocean and some great #music as well as quality time alone with his #PiscesMoon mama who understands some of the pains and struggles he goes through. Left the same morning as the #SolarEclipse in #Pisces, which was conjunct my natal moon in the 5th house (children) and was in his 1st house of the self and body. The idea for this trip was brought about by events surrounding the Sun conjunct Chiron (the wounded healer) transit a couple of weeks beforehand. Crazy how life events happen perfectly aligned with the planetary transits, but you won't know unless you open your #3rdEye and pay attention. Be #energyconscious it does help a great deal ❤️♓️🌌🌅🌇🌊

I just need to say something:

So obviously my natal moon sign is Pisces (27 degrees to be exact lol), and Piscean people are known for being avid music lovers. The current transiting Sun in Pisces is very close (within the same degree) to my natal moon right now, bringing things from the inner mind to the outer world to shine. My need for music and being connected to it has been super strong the last few days and continues to grow as the Sun approaches the exact degree of my natal moon.

I feel like music and any other art is something for everyone in the world to enjoy, regardless of what race or nationality the creator or listener are. I can’t stand it when people complain so much about people who are different races making music of specific genres, and say that either they are a wannabe something or another, or they are “stealing” it from another group of people.

Ok first of all, I’m well aware that there have been points in history where certain groups of people could not put out their music with their own faces on the album covers, simply because of their race, and a white face was put on it instead. I’m well aware that there have been real instances of artists of certain races making songs and another race will just boldly steal that song and make it their own.

Those times were periods in history, but that’s just it…the key word is HISTORY. It’s in the PAST. If this does happen today I’m positive it’s pretty rare.

I feel like if an artist makes music that is within a genre that is usually saturated with one particular race, but pays homage and respect to the original people who created it and has awareness of the history, there should be little complaints about what the hell color the performer is. Who cares?!?! Good music is good music. Period point blank.

For example Sam Smith they are saying is a new face of soul. Some people lost their minds over it while I was over here clapping and cheering for the guy. He’s dope and talented, that’s all I care about. And he does have a soulful sound. Mary J Blige “The Queen of Hiphop Soul” absolutely adores him and raves about him all the time. So what the hell is the big deal?? As far as I know, I’ve never heard of Sam stealing from or disrespecting the race of people who originated Soul music. I think people are still stuck back in the 1950s and lost their damn minds from reminiscing about how there was that time when white faces had to be put on the covers of soul music In order to sell. This is 2015 people!

I was at the phone store yesterday and “Unwritten” by English singer Natasha Bedingfield was playing in the background. A Black store clerk was singing it to herself word for word. Those kinds of things make my heart warm up. She didn’t stop herself from singing along to a “white” song just because of her own racial makeup. A good song came on and she sang along, plain and simple.

This may also be the placement of Uranus (gathering the masses, not seeing race, gender, etc.) in my 1st house (the self and body) talking but dangit, we need to move forward with this crap. Anyone should be able to appreciate and love art and music without stopping and thinking about what color someone is and whether or not they should enjoy it if they’re not the same color they are. As long as no disrespect and rape of culture is going on it should all be peace, love and vibing out to some good sounds :)

This is something that I learned from my culture which is HipHop culture (the original HipHop, not just MTV stuff and rappers). You go to a HipHop event like an MC battle, a Bboy battle or what have you, look around and what do you see? Do you see racial segregation or do you see people there all enjoying art? A lot of them with a similar sense of style, yet different shades and hues of every color? What kinds of music are everyone dancing to? Who’s dancing to it? What colors are the DJ’s? And graffiti artists? Is anyone there saying anyone shouldn’t have a right to enjoy or perform their art due to their race or color?

NOPE.

The Sun in Pisces is transiting my 4th house along with Mercury in the tail end of Aquarius. I’ve given up most of my social media activities for a bit to focus more on family. Chiron is also in my 4th house of family at this time and some deep wounds definitely came to the surface that need to be healed. Venus is transiting through my 6th house of health and service, which is perfect timing, because it gives me the energy to be the nurse and healer that I need to be for my family. I’ve been running around administering medications and vitamins to my husband and kids like crazy, buying extra fruits and veggies, just to make sure that they are ok and in good health. The downside to the 6th house (similar energy to Virgo) is anxiety, nervousness and worry. I’ve been worried so much about my family that I’ve been checking in in them all day while at work. It gives me such anxiety that my stomach has been in knots everyday (6th house and Virgo rule the lower stomach/upper intestines).

Having the awareness of transits can be such a good thing for understanding the current energies and doing your best to manifest them in the most beneficial ways. Rather than procrastinating on action or dwelling within emotion, I can fully understand what needs to be done and the right timing to do it.

There’s still free will and a higher source of power of course, but being able to work all 3 together is such a blessing to me. No longer do I feel like the crazy control freak on one end, and in the other end I no longer just sit and wait for things to happen magically either. Energy consciousness is EVERYTHING!

I feel like such a Cancerian right now with all this 4th house energy lol hiding in my shell away from social media and only wanting close friends and family as my focus. Instead of letting it annoy me because I am a bit more of a social person I’m going with the flow and using it to my best ability. Trying not to be a Krabby Patty hahaha

North Node in the 10th / South Node in the 4th Pt. 2  (1st person perspective)

Coming to terms now and less confused with why whenever I come to a peak in building my own business through creativity, I’m always faced with an important decision between family and career. Neither are ever naturally balanced in my life.

I’ve been staying away from more personal social media to build my own for creative expression/business and the ball has really started to roll now. I have an opportunity to give astrology chart readings in 2 weeks at a Psychic Fair which I’m so excited about! However, now the Sun and Chiron conjunction has brought a family wound to the surface that needs to be addressed and healed immediately, and I’m the only one who can be assigned as healer. Now I really need to choose between an awesome career building opportunity, and a child’s life.

Of course I choose my child’s life no doubt, but this is just one example of the ongoing theme that happens throughout the life of someone with these Lunar Node placements…that push and pull….do you choose family or do you choose career? Every time you incline towards career, family will pull you back down.

Everyone has these Lunar Nodes in different signs and houses in their charts so we all have different life lessons and themes that occur. For me, this is one reason why I have not yet achieved having a career of my own, however it’s not all doom and gloom, as the natal nodes usually mature after 30-35 even 40 for some.

They say the South Node is what we need to “let go of” in this life because it’s something we were already incarnated with knowledge, understanding and experience of. For me it was being a mother, which I did become at a younger age (18). All I knew at that time was you have children and you work a mundane job and that’s life. But as I grew older I realized hey, you know what, maybe there is more to life than this….maybe I should go to college and own my own business (North Node in the 9th/10th).

For people like me, these realizations come with maturity over time. I will NEVER let go of my children, family or the role of mother…despite my South Node placement I would never give them up for the even best career opportunity in the world. But that constant tug of war between the nodes, wow, it’s just a lifelong challenge that I understand more now and I’m willing to accept. If I have to do little bits here and there to slowly but surely build a career then that’s what I have to do. But I’m on a mission to build something that will make things balance out and have ample time to enjoy both career and home life! I pray for it every day and work on it every day.

Oftentimes as an astrologer I catch myself getting a bit frustrated with the fact that not many others have the knowledge of the way that the activities of the stars and planets play a part in everyday life. This doesn’t come from a place of arrogance, but rather a feeling of wanting everyone to have mutual understanding of themselves, others, and life events.

Astrology shows us that maybe someone is just having a bad day or more sensitive than usual due to a planetary transit at that time that’s only temporary, not that they are a bad person overall in general. Some people have more of an abundance of certain elemental energies in them in others, which can make them more outgoing or shy, more quick to react or slower, more of a nurturer or more of a disciplinarian, more of a leader or a follower, etc. Sometimes there are planetary transits happening that are giving off a certain energy that makes certain unfavorable events happen if the energy is not manifested in a more positive way.

I feel as if everyone on this planet had this understanding, that maybe, just maybe we would be more accepting of certain personality attributes of our own and in others, a.k.a. “flaws”, and could get through hard times in life just a little easier. I do understand that some people have their own belief systems that explain that one mastermind is responsible for all and their decisions are not to be questioned by humans, yes I get it, and some people are happy skipping along in life that way. That’s understandable, but what about people that do like to seek out the answers? What about the minds that wish to go deeper into meanings behind things?

When things happen in life, most people who don’t have the knowledge of astrology or any other deep philosophical or spiritual study will look around for reasons and only see what’s materialized in front of them for answers. Or say, “oh, that’s just a freaky coincidence” and move right along. Sometimes it’s frustrating when I see another answer that can not only explain why but possibly help another person become aware of how ENERGY IS EVERYTHING and not to make the same mistake again, but the language in which I would present it through would get me nothing but sarcastic looks and possibly some laughs.

I know I can’t save the world (something that’s hard for my Pisces Moon to understand sometimes), and I know astrology is not for everyone and never will be, but I really, truly hope to be able to reach at least a few people out there and help them to see the frustrating things about life and being a soul incarnated into flesh and blood in a way that understands that there are going to be those times in life where the phrase “this too shall pass” really does mean something, and that “flaws” are just energies that can be flipped around used in positive ways.

I want to help people to understand that sometimes that girl you have never really spoken to but right away thought she looked “bitchy” may just be a really deep thinker, or someone who has had a turbulent life and doesn’t trust easily….someone who feels EVERYTHING in life so deeply you can see it on her face. Maybe that guy over there that you think is “weird” because he’s quiet and into technology is actually a really funny, outgoing person underneath once you get to know him, but he knows his personality is a little unorthodox for most so he keeps it to himself. Maybe the reason why you keep ending up with the same kind of guy in a heartbreaking relationship pattern is because you unknowingly give off a certain energy that those types gravitate towards, and vice versa, but you actually do have control over that if you’re AWARE of it.

That’s the key word here with astrology is AWARENESS. I just want to help people be more AWARE and energy conscious. 💛💙💜💚❤️🌌💭

Venus & Mars conjunction February 2015 - First Person Perspective:

Venus, goddess of love (and one of my ruling planets!), planet that represents not only love and relating to others, but how we enjoy the simple pleasures in life, our 5 senses, money and personal possessions that we treasure. She traveled through sensitive, compassionate and dreamy Pisces up until 2/28, with passionate, aggressive and energetic Mars dancing along side her.

My moon is at 27degrees Pisces, so when the 2 planets were holding hands and running together passionately through those degrees, I did indeed have my moments of channeling the energies of one then the other, and sometimes both at the same time emotionally. Since Pisces is such a creative sign, I did use that energy to my advantage and work on a few small creative projects here and there. Piscean people also need LOTS of solitude, especially to release everything they’ve collected in the emotional waters of their subconscious mind throughout the day or week. We also need time to be alone to create and just get into that zone to channel that beautiful Neptunian energy…we can’t be tuned into 2 or 3 channels at once all the time and expect to stay sane.

I did nearly have a burn out during that transit because so much creative energy was wanting to come out of me, but when I tried to take that time to release it into a project, I was always interrupted or needed for something. Pisces is in my 4th house and rules my 5th house cusp, so family demands during that time really began to take a toll on me. ️Pisces is about giving selflessly without even looking back to expect anything in return, and if family or anyone else needed me, I was there and put everything aside as much as possible.

But what about the burning desire I had inside of me to create? What about my intense feelings of needing to be alone to (attempt to) meditate or just escape reality for a while? Something was finally said and thankfully, my better half agreed to help me out by giving me an hour of alone time on his days off as a start.

Venus and Mars both entered fiery Mars, the planet that rules Aries, on 2/28. Oh boy have the passions and hot and cold feelings been running on extra high now! Aries is in my 5th house so it has brought some wonderful moments with my better half and children, but it also rules my 6th house cusp, the house of work environment and sometimes of arguments, fixing small problems and debts. I have felt like one moment in this sweet, loving Venusian woman, and the next I’m some crazy dragon lady who’s so easily set off (make a dragon want to retire, man!). During the early degrees of their dance through the Aries Fire, they were still in conjunction with my moon (emotions). Wow. Now I know why Aries can come off as such a holes at times! Impatient, quick to fire off emotionally driven words then forget about them a minute later and expect others to as well, just so easily agitated. And now running through the territory of my 6th house, releasing a Virgo like energy but at a rapid fire rate, I have to catch myself before I become too quick to be overcritical of others and myself.

6th house rules the work environment and sure enough, Mars has brought me a challenge and head butt from my fire sign driven management, including an Aries Sun and an Aries Moon. I’m really going to need to to and tap more into the Venus energy and into the Pisces Sun and Neptune energy to douse the fires before they spread and smooth things out, sweeten them up a bit! With Saturn in my 2nd house of earned income, I don’t need anymore challenges and setbacks financially, oh no. Mars and Aries are impulsive, and since Venus rules money and pleasures, I have had my moments of just wanting to say eff it and not even care about whats in my bank account at the moment, especially if I was in a bad mood. With the Sun and Neptune in Pisces I’ve also felt like spending impulsively on loved ones too. Good thing I don’t have any of these placements natally or id always be broke and in debt!

6th house does also rule debts and with Mars and Venus together conjunct the cusp, I have indeed had to make plans to fix and take care of a few of them as well.

So far my family has handled these crazy Jekyll and Hyde moments of mine pretty well, but I know I need to continue to take the time to release the creative energy, meditate and get some sort of exercise since Aries energy is so physically active and avoid taking it out on others. Like I always say we can’t help or change the energy the planets are giving to us, but what we can help is the way we react to and manifest it 😉

Sun in conjunction with dreamy Neptune 02/25/15:

Today the Sun is in exact conjunction with Neptune, both in Pisces. Neptune is the planet that rules Pisces and gives that sign it’s characteristics of being compassionate, dreamy, masters of illusion, artistic, prone to escapism and dissolving boundaries. Neptune is the God of the Sea and Oceans, so a wave of it’s watery energy has drenched the Sun.

So the craziest thing happened to me today….

I’ve just started buying and working with crystals and gemstones to learn how to use them for healing purposes and energy therapy. Although I do believe in their power, I have to experience and witness things for myself before I truly believe in them.

I was having a stressful workday and felt the intense, combative energy of Aries taking over me (Venus and Mars are both together in the sign of Aries at this time). I had a small bag of crystals and decided to take out the Rose Quartz and place it in my shirt pocket over my Heart Chakra area. Rose Quartz is a pink color and pink represents vulnerability, love and sensitivity towards others. The Heart Chakra is a similar energy, and Rose Quartz is one of the crystals that helps to open that energy up out of that Chakra.

Within a short time of putting it in my shirt pocket and going on about my workday, I started to feel a kind of pain over my heart…and not only that but I had this emotion come over me that felt almost like a worried feeling…like the feeling you get when you know something is going on with a loved one and you feel extreme sympathy for their situation. I started to think, oh my gosh what is going on with me?? I’ve had pains like that before when in situations that gave me anxiety and worry, and the emotions I have felt when I did really sense that something was wrong but didn’t know what it was until later on. I realized that it may have been the crystal and took it out of my pocket then placed it on my desk in front of me. “No way.” I thought to myself. “Did this thing really have this effect on me? Really?”

I still didn’t fully believe it! I waited a few minutes to see if the physical and emotional feelings would disappear and you know what, they did.

There was no significant event going on at that time for me to intuit and feel a sense of worry about thank goodness. No medical issue at the time to have pain from. I really honestly have no other explanation except for the Rose Quartz.

This tiny little pink crystal really had that powerful effect on me.

Since pink is a color that is associated with the sign of Cancer, and Cancer is one of the most empathetic, worrisome signs, that must be what it feels like to be one of them on a regular basis, I thought.

Interesting experience and I can’t wait to learn and experience more about these beautiful, truly magical things that God and Mother Earth have blessed us with ❤️

North Node in 10th house/South Node in 4th House

I will add more to this later (read further and you will understand why later), but I have this activity in my own natal chart and quite honestly it drives me mad at times and is an everyday life struggle.

The North Node of the moon shows the soul's new direction and ultimate goal in life, the South Node of the moon shows what we have already learned, mastered and were incarnated with pre-existing knowledge of, or gained mastery of early in this lifetime.

The 10th house in a natal chart shows the career, public image and has similar energy to Capricorn and Saturn: achievement of the highest through hard work and perseverance. The 4th house of a natal chart shows the home and family life, and has similar energy to Cancer and the moon: nurturing, focus on family and being a homebody.

For me personally, I've always been an entrepreneur at heart, someone who wants to have their own business, be their own boss and enjoy what they've worked so hard for. To have a career that I've built from scratch and can reap the rewards of for a lifetime, as well as pass down to my kids. How to get there has always been a struggle for me to figure out though. At any job I work for, no matter how much I may like what I do and do it well, there's always something that nags at my soul and mind, telling me I belong elsewhere (part of that I attribute to my dreamy, creative Pisces moon as well), and I belong somewhere where I am in charge of myself. I've dabbled in the arts, which feed my soul sweet candy, as ways of earning a living, but have had to put them to the side just when inclination has started to build. Why you ask?
