generative AI is an existential threat to creative spaces. fandom is a community governed space, so it's crucial that we collectively draw a line in the sand about its use. we must not try to distract from the issue at hand by attempting to deflect or dismiss it as an issue of fandom bullying or ship wars. creators must be transparent about AI use and the only way to enforce this is collectively, as a community, if we want to protect the precious creative space that is fandom.

I was inspired by ts4's businesses and hobbies pack, so with a little help from @anitmb's merchant mod and simlogical's OFB 4 ts3, I was able to create a fully functional tavern and nectary home business for Julian (living quarters are upstairs)! On the other hand, I'm still figuring out a shop name. "Julian's Juices" or "Wine & Dine" doesn't sound quite right...😅

do you recommend merging cc? i am afraid of risking it and there won’t be much of a difference in performance

I only recommend merging using cc magic! Meging using s3pe is fine but I find it tedious so if you have a habit of regularly downloading and deleting cc, then I don't recommend it. There's also another one, which is pretty new but I haven't tried it yet.

In terms of performance, yes, it makes a huge difference in loading times. When I moved all of my cc to a new computer recently, I tried to test the game with unmerged cc vs merged cc. I saw about 2-4 minutes of loading time with all of my cc merged. Unmerged, however, the game got stuck loading and I had to pull up task manager lol. It's also worth mentioning that I only have 13 gb of cc, which is probably less than what most people usually have.

tldr; ymmv. I personally will always recommend cc magic over other tools because of how convenient it is.
