What program do I use to make the pixel family themselves?

any art program will work! ms paint comes with all installations of windows and works just fine. for a little more function, paint.net is free and also fairly simple! in both you would zoom in and use the pencil tool.

other than that bit of advice, it’s all about looking at the other pixelings and trying to draw the characters in that style. so it does require a little bit of artistic talent!!

hi!! it sure has been a while since i updated this blog. i’m sorry about that!!

i have instructions on how to create a pixel family here!! the basics of it is, they are images that are also a link. so you get a url for an image (you can right click any image online to get this!), paste it in img tags (see the post), and surround it with a href tags (again- see the post!)

      Wooop. RD and Twilight are my favourites. Fluttershy’s came out pretty good too.

Feel free to use in families or whatever! Please just credit. You can also flip them if you just open them in Photoshop or SAI and keep the transparency on them. Then they can face each other (or be looking at each other.)
