A comment i got recently has brought this to my attention, so I wanted to make it clearer here! There is a small canon divergence in Being a Kraang Zombie Really Leave a Mark. For the story the invasion took place over a 3 day period, there is a reason for that, I have yet to figure out how to put it in the prose but it’ll be explained at some point! Also, the tracker on Raph was jammed when he got caught, and unjammed when the Kraang decided to unjam it(when Raph was mutating cause psychological warfair and fuck you thats why lol)

This is a change that’s mentioned I think twice but I obviously didn’t make it clear enough! I also added a canon divergence tag cause I missed it :)

Agreed! I think there’s a lot more you could get from Mikey’s character than him being depressed. I get the trope but I don’t think Mikey would ever believe the others hate him, even if they said it to his face tbh and he’d never hate them either

If I write a 2012 fic would you rather it be a Mikey fic or a Raph fic? /Gen cause I love both of them in that version. Either way it’s gonna be angst heavy probably but like I’m still gonna ask.

So I was actually wondering why you have Karai as the main villain? Or I guess is she?

Good question!! And this could be considered spoilery(tho there is one spoiler for The Last Ronin) but I don't personally believe it is. Regardless read with caution.

SO Yes and no to her being the main villain. Shredder is still the main villain however most of what he is doing will be seen through her so she's more the main antagonist while the "true" villain is still shredder. The reason I decided to have her be such a big antagonist is because Raph is the "main" character. (I put main in quotes because all the boys are the main characters but he is the one the story is mostly told through) Raph and Karai have a terrible relationship in most iterations of the the turtles. In 2003 he refuses to trust her no matter what Leo says, and NEVER likes her. In 2012 he only sort of trusts her, and even then is never surprised when she betrays them, and then, of course, in The Last Ronin she's actually the one that kills him. Not to mention his just general hatred for her in the comics.

While Leo still has all his shit going on with Shredder, she seems way more hostile and hateful toward Raphael, so it made sense to me to have her be his villain. In my version she views him as something fun to play with, his anger is entertaining, and while she definitely holds a grudge for her eye, shes way more interested in torturing him than killing him. The fact he survived her attack of him was enough to peak her interest and now she is way more focused on him than even Splinter.

Shredder will show up with her eventually. I currently have 3 more fics in the story that I'm planning and with different antagonists. There's not really a set number tbh I'm just going as long as I have story arc ideas, but she will be back soonish!

I haven’t been on in a while but I just logged in for the first time in MONTHS and saw I had some DMs so I want to clarify something!

I am 26, if you are under the age of 21 I do not want any personal dms from you and never will. Asks and comments are fine as this is a generally 16+ page(some content from fics will be too violent to be a lower rating) but I don’t want any DMs! Im too old for that. My friends kept telling me saving up 20k to move was ridiculous but I’ve already burned through 10k on moving fees and this FUCKING car that I’ve hated since I got 7 years ago. I’m actually so fucking upset, I was really excited to be here and I thought I could maybe even afford a new car by the end of the year but now I have to pay 4k to get it fixed and that’s more than I bought it for but I can’t afford a new car either. All excitement I had of being here is just gone and the pay raise I was expecting isn’t as high as I was lead to believe. I have the worst luck man.
