I feel like they would make some type of Glass or Sea Sediment. Left the body type sketch as a reference because I wasn't sure it was that visible.

Dyna × anything is just a gremlin. I didn't want to go green but it just looks so fitting. Size is around Opal's!

Aw yeah!

She's so cute! I like her palette and what's going on with her colored line pants. She reminded me of Pink Pearl (because well, pink) so I changed the colouring more to purple while keeping some pink parts, just more pastel and soft.

The jacket reminded me of Pearl's last design so to make her stand out, I went with a winter vibe. Jacket is yellow because if the gemstone has a yellow bright, why not make other things yellow?

I like her messy hair so I simplified it as I could. And gave her a tiny bow because by simplifying, the hair now felt empty.

I didn't know what to do with the transparent part of the skirt so I ended up removing it, it just felt out of place. The shoes meanwhile just became softer.

I'm really happy with how it turned out. I'm all for saturation but this looks soft, cute and generally pleasing to the eye so I hope you like it too! ^^

If you are in the mood to draw a Gem, can you draw Aurichalcite?

I was thinking they could generate (very) hot glue as fixing material, usually on ships or that kind of stuff.. i dunno ^^"

I feel like that glue could hurt the gemstone of a gem while Aurichalcites would be an actually very friendly gem haha

What would your take on a Royal Lapis Lazuli look like?

I have a Royal Lapis Lazuli of my own! It's been a while since I last drew him, and he doesn't look pleased.

Also known as Cat's Eye Shell, Pacific Cat's Eye or Eye of Shiva, it is used in decorative thangs and jewelry.

My headcanon is that Cat's Eye are plague hunters with an excellent eyesight. Because Shiva Shells are made artificially, I believe they are made on The Reef (where pearls are made) as a personal plague hunter for that specific place because for the name, it may make sense haha. And because of that, they are fancier and more elegant.

If you ever are in the mood, can you draw Shiva Shell?

Welcome to Tumblr, the proclaimed "dying" social media. You can share posts on your own blog via "rebloguing", wich helps other people see posts! On those same posts, you can comment, or in that same reblog, you can add a comment to encourage those who made the post.

so i changed the colors on the era 3 and i like the design a whole lot better now!

i still don't know what kind of gem she is. @gemsona-advice ideas? i was thinking kunzite but that's a spodumene and she doesn't look anything like orange spodumene, and rubellite but that's a tourmaline and she doesn't look anything like watermelon tourmaline. help i care about consistency too much

Such an absolute fun gem to draw! So cute and messy (in a good way). I appreciate someone ""daring"" to ask for this, when it comes to judging, people can be, you know-

I like the curvy, messy hair, I tried to play it on the SU style. I wasn't sure what is going on with the check things (reminded me of camouflage) and felt weird? So I turned into blush because it's just a cute thing. And while I like the yellow and pink make-up in the eyelashes, it felt like too much yellow-pink on the design so I kept it on different lineart colors haha

The cape was surprinsingly easy to sketch. I like how weird and unique it is. Had to simplify the outfit a bit but I like to think it looks neat. The shorts had the boots yeeted because I couldn't figure out a way to be happy with them. I endes up giving the cape some shading so the same 2 colors didn't stay together.

The gemstone was simplified like, a lot. I guess I'm not a fan of them (if you need a ref of the new gemstone lemme know and I'll be doing it for free).

And the colors were saturated just a bit. I'm not a fan of grey-ish palettes but I still have to kept it, it's not my gem after all. I hope you liked it after all!

I genuinely believe you have a fun design in your hands, I'd be up to stare at some more of yours if you want too! ^^

Pearls are a joker. They're made for x gem and designed after so it can pretty much look after anything orange-themed if you think about it.

Ulexite however!

Ulexite, also known as TV Stone, is a sentinent TV Stone while Ulexite (to me) is a polished TV Stone that looks more like gems we're familiar with.

TV Stones are able to transmit light thanks to their internal reflection (AKA those stripes that are their gemstone). However, they serve as portals since their gemstones are not polished and can't show an image of what may be on the other side (like Ulexite would).

They serve as portals in a way that they need to be connected to another TV Stone (that needs to be in the same planet/moon), by selecting a channel (this case, being another TV Stone, not a show). Since they can transmit light and gems are made of light, they're "personal portals" in a way haha.

I imagine that depending on the planet/moon, each has a different shape as if to "mark" where are they made from. They can walk around, but they're more of an order-following gem. Not sure of their size tho..

In real life, TV Stones are called that due to its unusual optical properties, basically that their natural fibers act as optical fibers that can trasmit light and polished, will display objects in front of them! I totally didn't grab the stone info and translated it to SU lore.

how do you think would a Midnight Seraphinite look like if they were in SU btw?

Thanks for the Seraphinite ask! Been wanting to redo my take for a while. To me, Seraphinites are these kind of gem. Angelic, all knowledge and with the hability to have light wings. I should have probably changed the dress to be more like a sunset but then it would be more like Rose Quartz...

Homeworld Desert Glass

How would you draw an Opalite if they were in Steven Universe?

Opalite is synthetic and emulates Opals and Moonstones, so I imagine they're assistants for important gems of that kind, in a way that Pearls are. Being supporters if that makes sense instead of just being there like Pearls.

Desert Glass and Opalite are related since it's glass, but there's differences between them in a way that Desert Glass (and other types of Glass) are bulkier and more fit for construction while Opalites are more stylized.

I always loved these sharp transparent gems. They remind me of this one gem I have that washes away with water...
