Hi everyone! My name is Jessica and I’m currently completing my masters degree at UCL Institute of Education, and am in the process of recruiting participants for my dissertation.

I am looking for Autistic girls who are aged 11-19 to take part in a study about social media/ video gaming use and sleep.

I am based in London, but people from any location can take part as we can do this online (or in person if you are local). If you or your daughter fit the description on the poster below and are interested in taking part, or would like some more information please email me on the address provided on the poster or send me a message! (Contacting me does NOT mean you are obliged to take part)

This study had been approved by the ethics committee at UCL and I hold a full, clean DBS.

I honestly believe that people who lost their childhood, teenage years to mental illness and/or trauma are so strong for still being here. Especially once you’re about 18-25 and trying to relearn how to be in society and healthy and human.

Especially when you decide to work towards getting better.

Especially when your life isn’t where you wished it would be.

Stay alive okay? If you lost your youth, I’m sorry and I’m so proud of you for still being here. Keep fighting. Your best years are ahead of you.
