Inside Out in Kingdom Hearts
In Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Namine made Sora forget some memories, as well as craft fake ones.
I would like to think Namine talked to Sora’s Joy, Sadness, Anger, Disgust, and Fear, and messed up Sora’s core memories. And Namine used her powers to craft new core memories.
Namine can access the Inside Out world of people hahahaha.
Tell Square Enix to make this a spinoff story hahahahahahaha

When Donald and Goofy saved Sora and Kairi in Kingdom Hearts III
When Terranort attempted ot attack Kairi, Sora chose to protect Kairi by hugging her instead of drawing his Keyblade. Of course, given Sora’s abilites, we all know this was a stupid move on his part. The strange part is only Donald and Goofy sprung into action immediately while the others were in shock and did not do anything. There is a good explanation why only the two, and only these two, acted immediately to aid Sora.
Since the first game, Donald and Goofy were always with Sora through their adventures, from their encounter in Traverse Town up to thier final battle against Master Xehanort in the Keyblade Graveyard.
When it comes to life-and-death combat situations, Donald and Goofy know Sora more than anyone, even more than Riku. Maybe not shown in gameplay, but canonically when Sora makes a wrong decision in the heat of the moment in battle, Donald and Goofy were the ones who have always helped Sora, and are the only ones experienced enough to have a second nature to protect Sora in the heat of the battle.
Based on this scene, and the previous adventures of the trio, we can say that Donald and Goofy are just as much as best friends to Sora is as much as Riku and Kairi.

Kingdom Heearts Theories: Monsters, Inc uses gummi blocks for their doors and what happened to Vanitas between after being thrown out of Monstropolis and appearing in The Land of Departure
In the Kingdom Hearts universe, the usual travel from world to world is only possible using a Gummi Ship made from Gummi blocks, which are remnants of the barriers protecting the worlds from the Lanes Between.
In Kingdom Hearts III, When Sulley threw out Vanitas through numerous doors, it was evident that these doors were connected to the other worlds present in Kingdom Hearts III, namely Kingdom of Corona, Arendelle, and San Fransokyo.
This implies that the doors Monsters, Inc, or the Monstropolis world in general, has devised a way to connect to other worlds, and not just another world within world which seems like the case in the movies, although the monsters do not know that they are visiting many worlds and still believe they are going to only one human world. And this made me theorize that these doors were made from gummi blocks found by some monsters who had some knowledge about different worlds and tried to device a way to go to human worlds to collect scream energy, but kept the knowledge of outside worlds away from the Monstropolis world.
This implies that Boo is also from another world in the Kingdom Hearts universe, not form the same world as Monstropolis.
-----
I found it weird that Vanitas suddenly shows up in The Land of Departure after being thrown out by Sulley into many doors during the Monstropolis arc of the story of Kingdom Hearts III, like I found the transition abrupt.
However, after watching the scene again, I found out why Vanitas shows up out of nowhere in The Land of Departure. Jumping from the gummi-block door theory earlier mentioned, the last room Sulley threw Vanitas in after San Fransokyo, if you look carefully, was a room which is pure white. Guess what place in Kingdom Hearts has lots of white rooms?
Castle Oblivion.
Although one might assume Vanitas just used the Corridors of Darkness to Teleport after being thrown out, which is also (and most likely) possible, but this is the only way I can see his appearance in The Land of Departure without having an abrupt transition from his scene in Monstropolis.
Vanitas could have made it out the doors and got trapped in Castle Oblivion. And maybe still weakened from Sulley’s roar to create a corridor of darkness and just traveled through the doors Sulley put the former in. He maybe stayed in Castle Oblivion to look for Ventus.

The Masters Trio in Kingdom Hearts: Analyzing Master Yen Sid’s relationship to Master Xehanort.
Kingdom Hearts series always had trios of friends: Sora, Riku, and Kairi; Mickey, Donald, and Goofy; Terra, Ventus, and Aqua; Roxas, Xion, and Axel. For this blog, I would like to focus more on a trio which really does not get much attention: Yen Sid, Eraqus, and Xehanort, which I would like to call the “Masters Trio.” But for this blog about the Masters Trio, more on Master Yen Sid’s relationship with the other two masters.
We all know that Master Eraqus and Master Xehanort were best friends as evident with the opening scenes of Kingdom Hearts III and in numerous interactions in Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep. We also do know that Master Eraqus and Master Yen Sid are very good friends based on the interactions they had in BBS, such as Master Yen Sid informing Master Eraqus about the Unversed, and Master Eraqus telling Master Yen Sid about Ventus leaving his home. It shows that Master Eraqus and Master Yen Sid’s interactions go beyond than just acquaintances.
Whether Yen Sid trained under the same master as Eraqus and Xehanort or not is still unknown, but we do know for a fact that these three Keyblade Masters were a trio like Terra, Ventus, Aqua and Sora, Riku, Kairi and spent a lot of time together based on this dialogue from Master Yen Sid when interacting with him in Terra’s scenario in BBS.
Tumblr media
And since the end of Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, Master Yen Sid is the Keyblade Master leading the younger generation in the war against Master Xehanort.
I would like to analyze more about the relationship of Master Yen Sid and Master Xehanort. While at first glance, Master Yen Sid was helping the Seven Guardians clash against Master Xehanort, and the former just looked like he was fighting another guy, however, details in BBS shows that the relationship of the great wizard and the dark seeker were much more than what most people know.
Evident in BBS shows the nature of the relationship of Master Yen Sid to Master Xehanort in this cutscene in Terra’s scenario after meeting the great wizard Keyblade Master when Master Yen Sid utters, ” I had hoped, Xehanort, your heart would no longer lead you astray.”
Tumblr media
The way he said these lines in this scene, he was very heartbroken and disappointed as if he was hoping that a friend would not fall to the dark side, not because he feared of the possible chaos that Master Xehanort would bring to the worlds and the balance of light and darkness. These words from Master Yen Sid showed more of concern over Master Xehanort well being rather than the dangers he would bring, something that a friend would do. Consider the fact that Master Yen Sid rarely shows emotion, so being heartbroken over Master Xehanort being over-ambitious to the darkness to the recreation of another Keyblade War and the X-blade shows that Master Yen Sid and Master Xehanort were also close friends, otherwise Master Yen Sid would not say these words with such emotion.
To Sora, Riku, Mickey, and everyone else, Master Xehanort is just another bad guy to stop from taking over the universe, but to Master Yen Sid, he was not just having a war against another bad guy trying to cause chaos in the balance of light and dark, but he was preparing for a war against a friend who had lost himself to darkness for years, so imagine what Master Yen Sid had been feeling and thinking behind the scenes about this war against a close friend, but had to remain strong for his apprentices for the war ahead. He surely felt disappointed and sad like Master Eraqus finding out about Master Xehanort’s curiosity about the Keyblade War and the X-blade.
Because of this, I was disappointed that there was no interaction between Master Yen Sid and Master Eraqus and Master Xehanort in Kingdom Hearts III. Even just a simple scene of Master Eraqus thanking Master Yen Sid for taking care of Ventus and Aqua, and Master Xehanort giving friendly banter to Master Yen Sid when the latter arrives in the Keyblade Graveyard to fend of the Heartless or after the final battle for gathering the right guardians would be enough. Any interaction actually that would show the relationship of this trio would have been nice.

Non-Keyblade wielding Disney Characters were more prepared for the Keyblade War than the Seven Guardians.
Sulley incapacitates Vanitas and throws him to doors like he was trash.
Jack Sparrow had enough of Luxord’s games and expelled his bad breath on Luxord, which made the latter faint.
Goofy saved Sora and Kairi form a fatal attack from Terra-nort, stunned the latter long enough for Donald to blast Terra-nort with Zettaflare, an magic spell only available to gods from the FF Universe (and even for gods is too powerful to use), while everyone else was just standing and watching Donald and Goofy fight instead of helping the two. I mean, common, this is a Keyblade War so of course you guardians have to be prepared to fight but apparently the ones with no Keyblades prepared more.
Even in the banter game, Woody was more prepared and roasts Young Xehanort by telling him no one loves him without getting played by the long and cryptic soliloquies which is a standard Organization XIII thing to do on Sora because Sora easily gets dumbfounded by it.
Non-Verbatim banter of Woody and Young Xehanort:
Young Xehanort: The toys in this world are just empty husks brought to life because of the love from their owners. That’s what you all are, Just empty husks.
Sora: What are you saying? What does the Organization want?
Woody: Yeah, at least Andy loves us. You’re just saying that because no one loves you.

The Power of the Roar of Monsters Inc’s Sulley as shown in Kingdom Hearts III
James P. Sullivan was the top scarer of Monsters, Inc. back when the company was still collecting screams to power their world. Kingdom Hearts III further elaborated how powerful Sulley’s roar really is and why he was the top scarer.
In the plot of Monstroplis, Vanitas tells Sora and friends that he was reborn in that world thanks to the negative energy from the screams and sadness of the children.
While Vanitas was focused on Sora, Mike and Sulley used their scare tactics to scare Vanitas. To our amazement, Sulley’s roar was able to incapacitate Vanitas.
That same roar which was the top scarer’s roar that brought most of the scream energy of Monstropolis, that same negative energy which resurrected Vanitas, was strong enough to stun the latter who was born from it and thrives on it. If you cannot see how amazing how this further proves Sulley’s talent for scaring, then I don’t know what can.
Sulley being the top scarer of Monsters Inc.was very legit.
