I want nothing more than to be consumed by love. I want to not be able to breathe, i want to look into someone's eyes and get lost in them, i want to be the one who knows all the unique gestures in your face because i've memorized them by gazing at you for hours, i want to cry or laugh or get hurt even if it kills me i don't care but god just let me feel something. I want to love.

The US government (a bunch of white men) banning abortions in 14 states because "abortion is murder" and then proceeding to provide Israel with bombs and weapons so they can kill palestinian children and babies in a literal genocide.
There are no words to descrive just how vile and inhumane these people are.

THE 10 STAGES OF GENOCIDE, AND HOW FAR PALESTINE IS ALONG WITH THEM
Tumblr media
This will be using the UN's ten stages of genocide map (as seen above) as a base for each stage.
So far, palestine is within its ninth stage of genocide.
*although I do not believe isreal is a real or valid country, this will be referring to its citizens as "isrealis"
First Stage: Classification.
This stage is about us and them narratives. In the Holocaust it was Jewish vs Germans, in this it is Palestinians vs israelis.
The ‘us vs them’ narrative has been drilled into young "isreali's" minds for decades and has only gotten worse.
Second Stage: Symbolism
I do not believe there are any symbols to tell an isreali apart from a Palestinian person.
Most of the time it is based off their religion, however not all Palestinians are Muslim nor are all isrealis Jewish.
Instead of symbols, they segregate.
Third Stage: Discrimination
This stage is about taking things away from their target group. isreal has taken away their housing, their land, and their property as seen in the west bank.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fourth Stage: Dehumanisation
Dehumanisation refers to distancing the target group from humans, and making people less inclined to empathize with them.
Isreal refers to Palestinians as both animals and derogatory words such as "whores" or "monsters."
Tumblr media
Fifth Stage: Organization
This stage is about planning the genocide, and training.
Many isreali students are taught in order for them to grow up and become IDF soldiers. They are taught how to kill without remorse and enjoy it.
Sixth Stage: Polarisation
Polarisation is about the media and spreading hate about their target group in media.
The IDF not only go on international TV and talk about palestinian "terrorists" but also spread misinfo on social media.
(see this post)
Tumblr media
Seventh Stage: Preparation
When preparing perpetrators use code words in order to make their intentions seem brighter.
Isreal calls it "land disputes" or "self defense" when it is a genocide fueled by colonialist ideologies.
Eight Stage: Persecution
Persecution is about rounding up their target group and committing mass killings.
Isreal has rounded Palestinians up into Gaza, an open air prison, and continues to bomb their homes, shelters, and hospitals.
There is nowhere for palestinians to go.
Stage Nine: Extermination
This is the stage we are on. Isreal is destroying hospitals, relief centers, communities, and families.
They are attempting to find and kill every palestinian. Class of 2024 has been canceled due to all students dying.
This cannot continue.
Stage Ten: Denial
If we continue to let isreal kill off Palestine, we will get here. To the point where zionists will deny the genocide entirely.
SPEAK UP. DO NOT LET IT COME TO THIS.
Thank you for reading. The original post can be found under the Twitter/X account @aligaytor_. OP has given me permission to share it to Tumblr.

I'm never forgetting the Palestinian babies that were left to starve to death then rot in their beds by the IOF.
I'm never forgetting the Palestinian doctors surrounded by bodies of dead children begging the world to stop the slaughter.
I'm never forgetting the Palestinian children who held a press conference in English to beg the world to stop murdering them because they want to live.
I'm never forgetting the Palestinian Priest who said "We will not accept your apology after the genocide" to the world.
I'm never forgetting the Palestinian Imam who used the speakers of the Mosque, not to call people to prayer but to call out to God while the world around them was burning from American supplied Israeli bombs.
I'm never forgetting the grandfather who held his dead grandchild in his arms. Or the father carrying the remains of his two children in plastic shopping bags. Or the mother holding her dead child in a shroud. Or the father sitting among the rubble after he lost his whole family. Or the girl trapped under a broken building begging for people to save her family first. Or the boy who cried when he saw his brother alive. Or the girl who asked if she was still alive after being pulled from the rubble. Or the boy who carried the remains of his brother in his backpack. Or the old man the IOF used for a photoshoot before they shot him dead after getting pictures. Or the little boy wearing plastic gloves to pick up the remains of his family. Or the graves desecrated. Or the body of that small baby girl left alone in a tent because no one knew who she was or if her family was alive, small and alone and not one person who knew her name to bury her. Or the young boy who was shot in the street while his sister watched from the window. Or the men and boys who were stripped naked in winter. Or those tortured. Or those made to stand in open graves. Or the people who were raped by IOF soldiers. Or Palestinian workers kidnapped by the IOF and then labeled with wristbands, each one reduced to a number, then made to walk back to Gaza to be killed in the world's largest open air concentration camp. Or the people of Gaza starving because Israeli Zionists are blocking aid trucks. Or the Israelis dancing and celebrating the death of Palestinians. Or the lies spread by Zionists and their supporters. Or the people profiting off the oppression and deaths of Palestinians. Or the people of the West Bank being killed or kidnapped by the IOF. Or old woman who was older than the creation of the terror state of "Israel" who was shot by snipers for saying that. Or the Israelis dressed up as Palestinians to enter a hospital and kill three Palestinians in their beds. Or every single Palestinian currently kept in an Israeli prison. Or the journalists, doctors, poets, men, women, children, and the unborn all massacred. Or the fact that WCNSF exists now. Or the woman who refused to wash the blood from her hands. Or the dead, unburied and unmourned.
I'm never forgetting those who chose silence in the face of a genocide.
I may not know all their names but I will not forget the over 30,000 Palestinians dead. Or the over 60, 000 people hurt. Or the unknown number of people missing, still lost under the rubble. Or the 12,000 children slaughtered. An entire generation crippled or murdered.
I will never forget these things when Palestine is free.

Being from Gaza, Palestine is so different.
I tell people I'm from Gaza and I get pity, I get the "oh... do you have family there?" and I have to act tough, I am tough, it runs in my veins. Being from Gaza is expecting that reaction, the sorrow, it's dealing with dumbass people everyday, it's getting the "can you go there?" question. (No i cant btw).
I am from Gaza, I feel emotions just like everyone else, I feel anger and hurt and longing for a place I cant visit, I feel love and comfort and right now I feel alone and like im yelling at the world to pay attention and NO ONE CARES.
I am from Gaza, my thoughts belong to Gaza, my heart, my skin color, the way I speak, the way I say words a bit differently than the rest of the Palestinians, the way I wish I was a filmmaker to share my culture with the world.
I am from Gaza, i am aware of how different my people are, i am aware that i grew up differently, I am aware I grew up looking at the news from my grandparents television with my aunt waiting for news about her family, I am aware that I have trauma in my veins, I am aware that my culture is taken over and that I can't really speak about it, I am aware that not everyone experiences your aunt screaming that her brother died and yelling "He's apart of my soul, my soul died"
I am from Gaza, I hurt, I feel, I love, I care and my heart, soul and mind all belong to my beautiful land and its people.

Yesterday, Palestinian and solidarity organizers disrupted a Biden campaign event 14 times during his speech on the protection of women's rights. These activists called out hypocrisy because Biden and his administration are actively causing a reproductive care catastrophe in Gaza.
50,000 pregnant women do not have access to healthcare in Gaza, and C-sections are being performed without anesthesia. Women and children in Gaza are being killed by U.S.-made and supplied bombs.
described by @winged-wolf-s-collection-of-arts
[ID: Transcription of what the protesters are saying, while security personnel try to get them out:
Israel kills two mothers every hour in Gaza. Ceasefire now! End the genocide! Ceasefire!
Women in Gaza are being murdered. Killing people in Gaza is a war crime. You are a war criminal.
Stop funding genocide! Ceasefire now!
50,000 pregnant women don't have healthcare. Their blood is on your hands. Ceasefire!
Ceasefire now! Stop funding genocide! Gaza is a reproductive issue.
Free, free Palestine!
The end of the video shows article headlines with photos of the protesters or of Joe Biden, from various news organizations:

When i used to see people say "you don't love them you love the version of them you created in your head." I always thought that was so weird because how does one do that? Deffinitely not me, because i'd be able to tell if the way i pictured him and us in my head wasn't real.
Turns out i couldn't. And yes, i just loved the person i had created in my head, i loved the relationship that could've been. He's actually not all that and wasn't worth all the time i spent thinking about him. Oh well.

In the tvd books blood sharing is a very big deal and it's constantly portrayed, because in the books, vampires don't have sex, because blood is now their greatest form of pleasure, blood sharing is as intimate as it gets, it's their way to love. I truly wish they did add that to the show because in the books it was extremely important and honestly beautiful and exciting, it really did add a lot to the concept of being a vampire itself.
What are your thoughts on blood sharing?
Tumblr media
Blood sharing was one of those things they introduced because it served a very specific purpose but then when that purpose was over, they dropped it.
We really only get one mention of blood sharing in TVD season 4 when Damon tells Elena to feed from him and then, after the fact, tells her it's personal. We also see Stefan's angry reaction to learning this. I honestly hated this story because, once again, Elena's autonomy is taken away if blood sharing is an intimate act.
However, this is literally the only time we are told blood sharing is personal.
You have characters like Klaus who have fed half the show because he is always biting people and needed to heal them. But that's never seen as personal. Mikael exclusively feeds on vampires but it's never viewed as sexual. The Augustine vampires feed off vampires but again, it's not personal.
I do think it can be a personal thing if the feelings are already there. But it's not exclusively a personal thing. Even in TVD season 1, it created intimacy between Stefan and Elena, but this was mostly because of the trust it created in them. There's also something intimate about Hayley and Elijah feeding from each other in TO season 1 and the deleted scene. But again, the emotions are already there and, especially when Hayley feeds from him, it means a lot because it's her first time ever drinking blood.
Vampires also all view blood and feeding very differently. Some characters have no qualms about feeding directly from their victims like Klaus or Damon, and then others struggle with it like Stefan. So it would really depend on how each of them views it to explain how it would impact them specifically.
I can definitely see blood sharing being an intimate thing to certain characters and even used as foreplay, but it's not as one-sided as Damon and Stefan made it seem in season 4.
Thanks for the ask!
