I have finally graduated! It's so nice to be free from school now. Not sure what my plans are but I'll just go with the flow. At this moment the heart of the institute is very tired and needs to catch up on their sleep. 💤👁

I've wanted to do this for a while but I am opening asks on my blog! I've never done this before so uh yeah! I will be a bit busy for the next 2 weeks and I will respond when I can.

Ask Jonah/Jon, me, any questions about my fictionkin or therian identity! I also do not mind roleplayers just keep in mind I am NOT role-playing. I also wouldn't mind statement givers whether fictional or true supernatural experiences. These will be put in my Archives for safe keeping. 👁

Prompt 11: How did you discover your kin?

It began when I first questioned if I was a therian. Looking back at old memories and experiences, I always felt sort of reptilian. Along with feeling much like a dog, I was also so drawn to swimming, fishing, snakes, and dinosaur related things. I thought for sure I was a mugger crocodile in my early discovery and had identified as one for a while until it didn't feel right. I didn't have a sail, I was always on my belly, I felt bigger than I was. So I tried again. Back to extensive researching. Then I found the Ichthyovenator and just like that it clicked.

I want to let others know that it is okay if you find out your identity is not correct! Trial and error is okay and the more you learn about yourself the better you'll feel being who you really are. ♡

Prompt 10: Share a piece of media relating to your kin.

I absolutely LOVE Prior Extinction on Roblox. It's free and is the most accurate game in which I can play as my kin. Yes it takes a lot of grinding to get different dinos but I'm very determined due to being fixated on this silly game. 🐟

I've always felt like I'm living in the past

Prompt 7: Favorite aspects

My favorite aspects of my Ichthyovenator kin is how I hold myself and my behaviors. I tuck in my elbows and rest my hands outward. My tail is strong as it pushes me through water. My sail is ridged and pretty. My teeth are jagged and sharp to catch slippery fish. I lean forward to make myself feel longer and bend my knees into a more comfortable stance. These are my favorite aspects.

I have gotten so many flicker shifts that I'm not sure whether they are actual kintypes of mine or just a passing identity. Such as boreray sheep, belgian tervuren, buck eye butterfly, vampire, and some concept flickers.

I have them written down just in case I do get another kinshift although it feels unlikely. Could I call these cameoshifts too? Oh well, don't mind if my kinlist in my intro ever changes from time to time. Identity is fluid and always tested.

Also questioning mink and snake species. A little wary though. Oog

Prompt 6: Hearthome

My hearthome as an Ichthyovenator is the floodplains. More specifically, the Savannakhet basin in Laos. Cold rivers and wide rocks to sunbathe on. Plenty of gar to eat. I wish I could find a local place that looks like this.

Prompt 5: assign colors to your kin

I'm gonna take this prompt more on my appearance as an Ichthyovenator. Though my mask was made with a woodpecker design in mind due to the vote I posted, it is not actually how I looked.

I was lighter in coloration but still quite adapted and camouflaged in my environment. Maybe a dull brown or grey. I was speckled in pattern. I also had countershading. That's about all I know due to shifts and common knowledge. Artwork is by me!

Prompt 3: Share 5 facts about your kin

1. Ichthyovenator means "fish hunter"

2. They are older than the Spinosaurus by around 20 million years!

3. The Ichthyovenator has a groove in its sail that is not caused by damage but is a physical trait instead! The use for it is unknown if it even had a use.

4. It was around 30 ft (9 m) long and 10 ft (3 m) high at the hips.

5. It was almost classified as a baryonychines but is now a part of spinosaurinae.

I've been quite busy trying to keep up with the prompts so I will be doing these in my own time til I've completed it. ♡
