Out of all the upcoming Mario game remakes, Which ones are you most excited for?

I'm pleasantly surprised Nintendo is remaking the classics, including Dark Moon! That with a trippy yet hilarious and fresh new game coming! Mario and Luigi fans are having a field day today!

I'm most excited for the Super Mario RPG remake and The Thousand Year Door remake!!

I haven't played either of those games before but I've been dying to!

I'm still excited for the Dark Moon remake and will definitely buy and play it, but I have beaten it before which is what makes the other two games listed more exciting to me.

And Wonder and the Princess Peach game both look so FUN. It's about time Peach got her own game again :') and swordfighter Peach is especially cool, what a LOOK!

I'm seriously excited for all of it!

Do you ever experience any hate toward you for your smb fan character being obsessive and evil? I've been wanting to make a character that's similar but I'm afraid for getting hate for it😓

Well he's not a smb fan character cuz.. he's literally just me, but you know, more cartoonishly evil. And I have received some rude, gross, and annoying comments about my art before, including that of the evil, cartoon version of myself.

As long as you're not doing anything wrong or making a character based off of me, my self insert, or my AUs, you should feel free to do whatever you want. (You'll have to excuse me for covering my bases here, I've had some unpleasant experiences in regards to this and am super territorial over my intellectual property).

That being said, people online will send hate for literally the most benign shit, even just out of jealousy, which I've seen happen firsthand (very NOT cash money).

Ultimately if you post any art online, you kinda have to be prepared to get hate for it and/or have people be freaks about it (lol), otherwise it's best to keep for yourself and friends. It's not fair, but it is reality.

Are u doing commissions

Nah I don't do commissions! I am flattered though, thanks for asking :)

I can really only draw stuff if I care about it emotionally, otherwise I really can't even focus on it without EXTREME EFFORT. I did do one commission once, and it helped solidify in my mind why I do not do them 😅

I shall permanently remain an amateur artist ✌

Hey, so question about the art of you kidnapping Luigi: HOW did Mario find your hideout so fast?! Does he have spidey brother sense or something? Or did something give him a clue of where Luigi is? Just curious. Still hilarious tho!

Also RIP you in the recent picture, no worries, I'm sure you'll have Luigi someday...

What can I say, I'm a scientist, not a supervillain (at least not yet). There may have been some glaring holes in my plan... along with some security weaknesses in my lair.

Plus, as I've come to discover, you really shouldn't underestimate the ~spooky connection~ that twins have.

My list of independent variables to control grows longer with each "failed" plan to capture Luigi's metaphorical and physical heart.

But, he will be mine.

i DO have to ask, where is daisy in ur aus? i saw that 1 post tho so i promise I'm not doing the same thing. I'm just curious abt it :3 or is she just omitted from the story entirely?

It's not an active omission, she is just not in any of the Mario games I play, from which I draw my main inspiration for my AUs.

If she were included in the Mario and Luigi RPG series or Luigi's Mansion series, I would probably include her (assuming she plays a significant role in the story).

She was given a bit more of a role in the story mode of Tennis Aces since she actually had dialogue, but I don't have any AUs based around Tennis Aces, THOUGH Lucien is pretty interesting. Who doesn't love Luigi corruption??

And really, if we're being honest, most of what is considered to be her "canon characterization" is from sparse flavor text and fanon. And as I'm not immersed in the Mario fan culture (for my own sanity) Daisy is not a compelling character to me, and I'm tired of having to justify that tbh.

BUT TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION DIRECTLY: In my AUs, Princess Daisy is likely in Sarasaland, just chillaxin'

Do you guys understand how hard it was to find a piece of my art that had 1. Luigi fully clothed and 2. No blo0d??

I got to meet Charles Martinet today

I gave him some fan art and a small letter (and had some fan art for him to autograph). I got to tell him how much his work and passion means to me, and I feel so thankful to have had that opportunity.

He offered me a handshake before I left and (to the best my autistic brain could tell) seemed moved by my own passion.

If you have a chance to meet him at a con, he's super nice :')
