Hi, I have a question- I’ve seen some posts you’ve made headcanoning characters as bi-lesbians? I’m a little confused because I thought being a lesbian meant you’re NOT attracted to men, but being bisexual would mean you ARE..? I was hoping you could explain what being a bi-lesbian means & how it works? /genq

Hey there, I'm glad you ask! There are multiple ways to define bi-lesbians but the most common definitions I've seen are:

Bi women and bi nonbinary-women with a huge preference for other women but can occasionally be attracted to non-women (similar to the term homoflexible)

Women and nonbinary-women who have a preference for people with biologically female traits (as in the gender doesn't matter as long as the person's genitals are (mostly) female, i.e. trans and non-binary people with vulvas and/or feminine breasts)

Women and nonbinary-women with a split attraction (for example biromantic-homosexual women (meaning a woman who can be romantically attracted to multiple genders but only finds women sexually attractive) or vice versa)

I myself am not a bi-lesbian but I have known some people who identified as such at least once in their lives. It's also worth mentioning that bisexuality doesn't necessarily include men, being bisexual means you can be attracted to multiple genders but what those genders are is up to you. Everything is a spectrum! Fun fact, the term bi-lesbian isn't a "new Tumblr thing", bi-lesbians have existed for a loooong time!

Thanks for the link anon, although I am not quite sure what you want me to do now? I personally have never had any problems with DNI banners (if anything it helped my followers from other blogs point out people who have reblogged or repostes my stuff that were actually horrible people) and if anyone doesn't like my blog or its content they can literally just block me.
