Proverbs 2:1-5 My child, if you receive my words and treasure up my commandments with you, making your ear attentive to wisdom and inclining your heart to understanding; yes, if you call out for insight and raise your voice for understanding, if you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures, then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God. . We all have something we store up in our treasure chest whether it be money, family, career, love, and etc. Just like Matthew 6:21 says, for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. . What God shows us is that if we treasure up His Word, which is full of wisdom and understanding, we will be able find God. Don't you want to find God. I want to, and I ask myself what is in my treasure chest. Proverbs 1:15-16, 19 . My child, do not walk in the way with them; hold back your foot from their paths, for their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed blood... Such are the ways of everyone who is  greedy for unjust gain, it takes away the life of its possessors. . Many times we get tempted by the world, people, situations, and even ourselves. Because we get tempted and we give in, we fall off our tracks and walk in the way of darkness. This is how the enemy wants us to live... in evil, greed and sin, and sooner or later death. . But God has a different plan for us. He wants us to be AWAKE. He wants us to KNOW truth vs false. He wants us to stand firm by His Word, hold back our feet from temptations from the enemy and keep walking in the way of Christ, which is the way of TRUTH and LIFE. So don't get caught up in situations, emotions and whatever is holding you back. Know that your Father is cheering you on, for you to finish walking on the path that He has created specifically for YOU. Then you'll be able to taste and see the goodness of our Father as you walk alongside Him. This is a journey that I've been planning for a very long time. About 6-7 years... So why start now? Recently, I've been in situations of brokenness within myself and with people. Even though I was constantly with God! 😩I realized that in order for me to really live in wisdom, righteousness and justice, I need to dive into the book of Proverbs once again but journal it out. So here's to me taking a leap of faith to see how my time with the Word of God will change my life!
