Lapis Ketan, inspired from Pinterest.

Lapis ketan is a traditional Indonesian food. This cake usually consists of two colors that are layered (Lapis), this is what gives this cake its name. This cake is made from glutinous rice flour, starch, coconut milk, sugar, salt and coloring. This cake is steamed every layer before then the layer above is added. So, whoever makes this cake must have extra patience to wait for it. You can find this traditional snack in almost every traditional market or a few foods stall on the roadside.
