ECLIPSE 2024

I was in the path of totality, but we got this disgusting cloud cover. It was VERY neat though. My cousin and his friends brought their dogs and seeing them go nuts was mind blowing. The birds were going in circles. The cicadas shut up and the crickets woke up. This inspired me to want to buy a telescope. Any recommendations for a noob on a budget?

This stunned me and caused me to have a momentary existential crisis. You mean to tell me that Steve Stich, the super shy flight director from STS-107, STS-114, and STS-121 is named JOSEPH?

Stich was very handsome when he was younger. I can’t say “my age” because you have to be experienced to be a flight director. And it usually means you’re older than 30 (I’m 26 but still)
