Both are really good as well. This one is just my favourite out of the 3 though. The same author also wrote Just One Word (F), which is a soulmate AU Mettaton/Reader which I also enjoyed.

Teach Me How - Sans/Reader - Finished

I read this fic waaay before I realised I was somewhere on the aro/ace spectrum and hoooo boy my obsession with it when I was younger really makes sense now. Incredibly sweet, they go from hate to love, and the reader is aro/ace. It’s a little messy, but isn’t everything?

In writing this I also realised this is by the same author who wrote You, Me and Dr. G!!! >:O

The Nebular Theory - Skelebros/Reader - Ongoing/Unfinished

If it's not obvious already, I absolutely adore this fic. You want some REALLY good characterisation? A juicy plot that has me wishing I had the space for a red-string theory board? An attention to canon details that make me scream? Communication between characters!!!!!

I'm cheating here by linking the entire series (which is 11 fics of various levels of interconnectedness) but it's so worth it. This series tore my heart out, stomped on it, stuck it back in and gave me a sweet little kiss at the end. Several times over!! I cried like 4 times in one night while binging it!! Also this series contains one of the few OC/Canon stories that I enjoy!!

I actually read Burning Mountain first and then everything else in order and proceeded to LOSE MY GODDAMN MIND reading the first and second fics because OH. That's why the end of BM was so... OHhhhHHhhhh.........

The current fics included in the series are all finished, but I'm not sure if the author intends to come back to it in the future.

In the meantime, their other fics A Little Bit(ty) of Trouble (F) and Cold Blood, Warm Heart (O/U) have also stolen my heart. Those ALSO deal with dark, complicated topics so tread carefully and enjoy!

One of the good ol’ classics. Japes! Drama! Romance! Really good plot! Apparently optional smut according to the tags! I don't recall that but it's a thing!

The impact of this fic can still be seen in the way I view Kindness souls and how they behave lol.

This series is so so funny. They’re both kinda idiots. And they're both SUPER TSUNDERE. I love all the characters here so much.

Honestly all of this author’s works are fantastic, but in particular I love Roadside Attraction (O/U), Fur a Good Time, Call… (F) and also her AU vignettes… Flotsam & Jetsam, Not So Spooky-Scary and Make Your Mark.

Although the icing on the cake has to be Blue’s face of distaste, which resembles a baby eating a lemon for the first time. Just thinking about it makes your bones rattle with laughter, which is not helping Red’s cursing fit.

Snowgrave Berdly Dead or Alive?

I’ve seen so many arguments on whether or not Berdly is alive at the end of Chapter two of deltarune. So, I gotta throw my theorist hat into the ring!

Okay so if you watched or played the snowgrave route then you know Berdly gets frozen in a block of ice and is unconscious in the lightner world. I’m gonna talking about the evidence point to him being both dead and alive before giving my verdict, which might surprise you.

Theory 1: He’s dead.

Snowgrave is a move that is described in game to be lethal or fatal, meaning a person hit with that can die. And although it isn’t clearly stated that the darkners who were frozen have died it is safe to assume because of the other darkners response to Kris and Noelle. The more darkners you freeze others will eventually run away you and all the npcs and cars are no longer around. Indicating that they are scared of you most like because you’re murdering people.

Now for people who say “but darkners and lightners are different so you can’t compare them!” True, you can’t do a 1:1 comparison but it’d be a bit foolish to disregard this information because of that alone. Humans and dogs are different but if we’re stabbed we both bleed. Just because they’re different doesn’t mean they can’t die to the same thing.

Now for the people who say “they’re not dead just frozen in ice.” ...I hate to break it to ya but being frozen in a block of ice will kill you! You will die of hyperthermia, of shock (you body suddenly experiencing an extreme shift in temperature in a shot amount of time), or suffocation. If you get trapped in a block of ice you are dead, just like if you get burned to death you are dead not extra crispy.

Theory 2: He’s Alive but probably comatose

This is because he hasn’t dusted yet and when you click on him the text say “he appears to be sleeping.” People are assuming that his SOUL is trapped in ice causing him to be in a coma but not dead.

I’ve seen people argue that because his soul is trapped in ice, his body is preserved which is why he hasn’t dusted in the lightner world. Which is possible. If Berdly fires his arm getting the plug off, it’s black in the darkner world but in the lightner world his arm looks fine but is paralyzed. However, something that can disprove this is the word “APPEARS to be sleeping.” That means he’s most likely still breathing and as mentioned above you would not be breathing if you were trapped in ice. So is he dead or alive?

You’re probably thinking he’s alive just in a coma right?

Wrong!

Remember when Ralsei taught Kris about recruiting darkners? If you fight a darkner than they will be Lost and won’t be able to join your town.

What happens when Kris cleanses the dark fountain of other worlds? He destroys those dark worlds, unable to go back to them. Only able to bring the recruited ones “his” darktown because they’re “SOUL” (potentially) manifest as toys or items in the lightner world (maybe).

So if Berdly’s soul is trapped in a block of ice in a world that Kris destroyed with no way of going back means that Berdly is LOST. His SOUL is not only trapped in ice but also lost somewhere in limbo or the void. 

It’s possible that for those who played the snowgrave route that Berdly will be hospitalized by the time we get out of the dark world. He might not be dead yet but it does stand to reason that he is dying without his soul (after all he can’t eat or move).

Okay I need to share my thoughts on some of these dang Deltarune characters!

Kris- Needs to be freaking protected at all times!! Also dark knight...STOP RIPPING OUT HIS FREAKING SOUL!! Unless Ralsei is actually evil and you’re trying to do us a solid...

Ralsei- Not sure if it’s cause he isn’t wearing his hat but he was giving me some sus vibes -_-

Susie- Apparently I assumed she had a tail and was right. I did not know that this wasn’t common knowledge.

Lancer- I was yelling at my screen to just put him back in my pocket before he turned to stone. He was fine in my pocket! He woulda been just fine if I could just put him back in my damn pocket!!

Queen- I love her but I also hate her cause she tea bags ya if you lose!

Spamton- I love his battle music! I messed up and didn’t get his secret boss boss battle, so I’ll definitely try that later. (Here’s to hoping it doesn’t traumatize Kris)

Noelle- She needs help and a Susie plushy doll

Nubert- My favorite color

Swatch- Stole my heart in 2.5 seconds...I might have problems...

Asriel- Why do you have a room in the Queen’s mansion?

Remembering how easy it was to snap the necks of humans. How easy it would be to snap your neck…
