Belle x Adam .... honestly- doubt is HEAVY, no I do not believe they did it when Adam was in beast form and I can see them waiting until marriage but- with everything they went through I would not be surprised if they did it the first night after he was turned back to a human

Hades x Maleficent No, no they didn't They did it in high school and you will never convince me otherwise

Cinderella x Charming Yes, but mainly because Charming's father rushed the wedding since he wanted his son to get married ASAP

Eugene x Rapunzel No no no no no, and no With all the shenanigans these two have been up to I do not see them waiting until after the wedding

Anna x Kristoff No, I would say Frozen 2 even alluded to that they did it before the wedding

Prince Florian backstory in Descendants

Yup! I said I would pump out some headcanons about this guy in my AU and here hey are

So the best thing about characters where there's barely any screentime of them is that you can basically twist them into your own OCs without any major limits as long as it doesn't mess up the canon

Which is what I have now done with Florian so buckle up

With the evil queen being... the evil queen Florian's kingdom was always on high alert ever since Snow white's father died so his parents would travel a lot to build up strong alliances

Meanwhile Florian was left at home with a shit ton of guards and tutors, his parents tried to be as present as they could be by sending him letters and gifts regularly as well as coming home whenever they could.

Still, Florian missed his parents growing up a lot which led to him defying his guards and tutors by exploring his kingdom as he got older

So one day when he was out riding on his horse (who's name I learnt is Astor) he heard a beautiful voice coming from the Evil queen's castle and... everyone who's watches Snow White knows the story from there

Not long after Florian and Snow White were married they were visited by Adam and Belle who were on their honeymoon (yeah it started as a normal honeymoon where Adam just wanted to take Belle on a journey to see the rest of the world but as we all know it became a lot more)

After talking with each other they realized there were so many different kingdoms with tales like theirs around them and that they would be stronger together

So Charmington/Hannover (can't decide if I wanna use the canon name or the original one) was the first kingdom to join Auradon, the biggest motivation for Florian to join was because this way his parents could be home from now on

No fear of new threats rising up that would tear his family apart again

More kingdoms joined as Adam and Belle kept up their travels and about four years after Auradon was officially formed Florian and Snow welcomed their own child

Florian is a very emotional person and throughout his son's life he was very present even if he and Snow were crowned the official King and Queen of Charmington/Hannover

(Not gonna adress Snow White being a stupid journalist bullying a child)

Adam's hair in Descendants

Okay so- obviously we all know Adam has long hair in the OG movie and yet he has short hair in the Descendants trilogy

Now the off screen reason for this is probably that his actor has short hair and they didn't see the need to use wigs and stuff since people can change a lot overtime

But! I do have an angsty hc as to why his hair is short in my AU

.... and I wanna see if anyone else has wacky headcanons as to why Adam would decide to not have long hair anymore, so don't be shy! Put whatever you come up with in the comments

My formal apology to prince Florian

(Yes I know that he doesn't have a canon name but it feels wrong to just call someone "the prince", like how I almost never refer to Adam as "beast" because- they deserve a name!)

I at first wasn't planning on posting something like this but I have a few headcanons about Florian I want to get out and since I have stated in a previous post that I hated him it feels like it would be weird for me to start posting positive things about this guy without addressing why I previously saw him as an asshole

His age I sadly bought the whole "He's 30 while Snow White's 14" thing for a long time... but not only does he actually look like a teenager but the way Snow White acts in the movie reads to me that she's AT LEAST 16. So for me both Florian and Snow white are between 16-18. I admit this took me watching a video where someone ran down all the on and off screen reasons Florian isn't 30

Non-consentsual kiss Okay so the rest of these reasons were because I hadn't watched the movies since I was a kid and didn't remember much. You get to learn that he searched far and wide when he couldn't find Snow White and when he finally found her she is "dead". The kiss wasn't him trying to take advantage a corpse, he was kissing his presumably dead girlfriend goodbye. The kiss isn't intimate, it's small and innocent and he kneels to weep right after before Snow White wakes up

So yeah, I really owe this guy an apology for falling into internet rumors so easily

If Ben told his parents about what happened on the island (+ Gil's message)

"YOU WENT TO THE ISLAND?!" Adam roared before Ben could even finish his first sentence.

"Dad- PLEASE just hear me out-"

"WITHOUT PROTECTION?!"

"Well I had Evie and-"

"WITH THE FAMILY CREST ON YOUR JACKED?!"

"Adam-" Belle grabbed his arm, squeezing it tightly. "Maybe we should listen to the full story before we do something drastic!"

"I-I suppose..."

Ben swallowed as both his parents sat down and looked at him expectantly as he started telling the story.

Starting with that awful argument with Mal, to her going to the island- to him going after her with the others and then bumping into Gil-

"Gaston's son?!" Belle covered her mouth in horror. "Oh gods please tell me he didn't recognize you!"

"About that-" Ben smiled nervously as he got to the whole... wandering off after Mal refused to come back.

"I was going to giver her space and to clear my head and then-" He could see the panic in both his parents' eyes as he got to the whole kidnapping part.

"YOU GOT KIDNAPPED?!"

"To get the wand?!" Belle gapsed in horror. "That's how Ursula's daughter got a hold of Mal's spellbook?! And got off the island?!"

"Yeah..." Ben looked down. "The others printed a fake wand with Carlos's printer to exchange me for it! Then Lonnie got involved and-"

"LI LONNIE?!"

"Adam!" Belle sighed "You're going to bust someone's eardrums!"

Adam bit his lip but nodded at Ben to continue

"Then they managed to free me and we got away after some fighting!" he finished. "And well... both of you saw what happened at the cotillion!"

Ben looked up nervously at his parents, Belle was rubbing her face while Adam had started pacing around the room grumbling to himself.

"Mom..."

"I-I..." Belle stammered. "I'm glad you're okay but-"

"You are NEVER going back to the island again!" Adam growled sternly.

"About that-" Ben took a deep breathe. "Mom- dad, I've seen the island now! I've seen what a truly terrible place it is and- those kids deserve better!"

Before any of his parents could object Ben ran down the program he and the others were setting up to slowly but surely bring over more villain kids to Auradon.

He could tell they both were nervous but neither of them objected.

"I-I see," Adam took a deep breathe. "Well son, I am happy you are making these decisions but... with Uma still on the loose promise me you'll be careful okay?"

"I promise dad!" Ben nodded. "Besides Mal can turn into a dragon! We'll be fine!"

Belle took his hands and squeezed them tightly

"Well we're very proud of you!" She smiled lightly. "I am glad you made it out of that situation well and alive!"

"Thank the gods nothing else happened-" Adam grumbled. "Who knows what Gaston's son would've don if he wasn't following orders!"

"Oh about that!" Ben smiled nervously. "H-he asked me to pass on a message to the both of you!"

"..... what?"

Ben closed his eyes and recited what Gil had told him

"Before you go, tell your mom that Gaston says hi, and also tell your dad that my dad wishes he finished off your dad when he had the chance"

He swallowed.

"Well this was a good conversation but I need to go get some work done so I'll be in my office if you have any questions!"

With that Ben bolted out of the room leaving his parents to process everything that just happened and what this meant for Auradon's future

"I-I need to lay down..." Belle mumbled to herself and slowly started heading towards the nearest couch.

"You do that love I...." Adam looked around and sat down at the nearest table.

"I'm just going to scream into my hands real quick-"

Small discussion about Belle (Descendants)

Okay so I made a post a while back about how I hated how they wrote Belle in Descendants because she didn't feel like the Belle from the OG movie

However I recently stumbled upon an old instagram post made by Keegan Connor Tracy (Belle's actress) that she made shortly after queen Elizabeth II died

In that post she talks about how when she was cast as Belle she studied queen Elizabeth in preparation for her role

Now no hate to Keegan for this but- maybe this is why her character felt so off? Don't get me wrong the biggest issue is no doubt the writing!

So I don't live in England and I don't pay that much attention to the royal family but from what I have seen Queen Elizabeth was not the kind of person Belle would grow into being

Belle is an awkward bookworm who tends to easily get lost in her own world, she grew up as an outcast to her community and didn't become a princess until she married Adam

I feel like everyone involved in the production should've had taken a closer look at Belle and realize she's not this formal, quiet and polished queen that she appears to be in the movies.

She's not afraid to stand up against what she sees as wrong, she's kind to a default towards everyone she meets and most importantly- is all for giving people a second chance

Charming will make jokes/puns about his last name on a regular basis- Adam is very tired of it

They have tea together with their wives all the time

They are among the few who call each other by their actual names (Adam and Henry)

Instead of therapy they traumadump on each other

They go horseback riding together and Charming insists they race all the time
