The problem with being the only person working on my MSB!AU is the fact I'm the only person working on it.

Don't get me wrong, I have LOVED working on this AU and the fact that it's developed into a year's worth of work (two years in march... WHAT?!??) but the fact I'm the only person working on it means I have NO ONE to share my ideas to!!!!!!!!

Like sure, there's people I can rant too (I have some wonderful mutuals who listen to me rant constantly <33) but no one who also works with me on the AU..

So, even when I'm tired and unmotivated there would still be someone working towards getting content of our AU made and published (which I think would inspire me to become more motivated)

BUT SINCE I'VE WORKED ON THE AU FOR SO LONG BY MYSELF I CAN'T REALLY ASK FOR HELP YOU KNOW???

LIKE??? SURE, PEOPLE RESPOND TO MY MESSAGES AND ENTERTAIN ME, SOME PEOPLE ACTUALLY FINDING MY CONCEPTS INTERESTING AND COOL.. BUT IT'S NOT LIKE THEY CAN JUST ME LIKE "well actually, what if we did this!!"

Even with ranting I need to be given prompts/questions by the person I'm ranting too otherwise my mind will go blank unless I'm specifically thinking about a certain plot, pairing, character, etc.. WHICH DOESN'T HELP EITHER!!!

anyways, shoutout to all the amazing people who like my content, and have stuck with me even though I've been saying "I'll make the fanfic soon I swear!!" for the past year... and I have yet to complete the first chapter because I got too absorbed in the lore and making sure all the backstories line up...

I will say, that choosing this AU out of any to be the first one I publish and complete first BY MYSELF has been a huge struggle BUT ALSO SO MUCH FUNNN!!! I DON'T EVER WANT IT TO ENDDD!!!!😭😭

Nooroo is struggling in my MSB!AU not because he's starved by Gabriel and thrown around like a plush toy then squeezed in this middle-aged man's hand until his eyes almost pop out, but because Nooroo isn’t trusted to be away from Gabriel so, he has to listen when Gabriel and Nathalie get freaky almost every night, and Gabriel refuses to renounce him or anything, just in case there's a chance he can akumatize someone

then also they'll get freaky while Gabriel is transformed into L'Empereur cause he's like 2-3 feet taller than usual and has a long proboscis tongue thing so Nooroo just can't catch a break ever

so he just cries to Adrien every night about it while Adrien doesn't pay attention pacing around his room and talking to himself as he tries to decipher the grimoire and building his weird shrine thing to Null or when he's planting more flowers around Emilie's cryogenic pod thing

luckily Plagg is sort of listening but only because he knows Tikki would kill him if she found out he knew L'Empereur's identity and wasn't listening to his potential plans

so Nooroo has a crying session then Plagg scarfs down a whole cheese wheel then Nooroo starts explaining in graphic detail the things he has to endure then Plagg pukes all the cheese up then Adrien has to clean it

(the spots and stuff aren't solid black but the coloring got messed up in ms paint so i had to make all it full black)

Here he is, the main villain himself!!

It was fun to redesign Butterfly!Gabriel to be more bug-like.. and civilian Gabriel look his actual age (I say, hopefully, since I never draw middle-aged men)

This is probably the first drawing of Gabriel I've ever done LMAO

I'm calling him Emperor because I saw somewhere the Butterfly Miraculous creates 'Champions' (it feels like it fits) and also his color scheme is based on a Purple Emperor Butterfly (if that's not obvious from all the times I mention it)

Do you have a timeline/plot figured out, or is it just a drawing/scenario prompt?

My Miraculous: Tales of Scarabella and Chat Noir or MSB!AU for short, is a rewrite/redesign/rehaul/whatever you want to call it of Miraculous Ladybug where Alya is the Ladybug holder.

1. It's both! Sometimes I'll spend all day writing, other days just making silly doodles, funny comics, different concepts for powers, or reference sheets for characters is all I feel like doing at the moment..

2. I'm working on the set timeline (which will be in the form of an ao3 fic, and I'll probably post the chapters here too..) but honestly, I'm trying not to stress myself out too much with completing it since the main concept is easily understood through comics and some people prefer that over reading a bunch of dialogue.

(I also post about my AU on my Instagram and Tiktok if you're interested... My instagram has pretty much the same posts as here HAHA)

Also, be ready for me to post more about my AU since I'm finally in summer WOOHOO!!!
