Hi, how have you been ? Just in case you're still wanting to write some light headcanons- I've be curious to see how Alastor would react if his queerplatonic partner was a vegetarian (it made me laugh thinking about it, as a vegetarian myself, haha)

Hi there! Sorry, I’ve been a bit busy lately but I promise I’m trying to get back to writing more haha. I LOVE this idea as a vegetarian myself, so this ask was a delightful surprise in my inbox. 

Alastor x Vegetarian! Queerplatonic Partner Headcanons 

Alastor finds out you’re vegetarian when you are eating dinner together in his room and he offers you some venison he prepared for both of you

You decline and get some leftovers to eat instead. Then you explain that you’re vegetarian but he asks you what that is (considering vegetarianism was far less popular in the 20s and his best friend is a fellow cannibal)

At first he finds the concept a little funny because he certainly would never limit his food options but ultimately he respects your choice and would never force you to have food that goes against your moral code

He then has some fun with it when he realises that there’s a whole host of vegetarian meals he’s never cooked before (and Alastor is VERY passionate about cooking - especially for you)

After seeing you having to eat leftovers, he decides to surprise you with the fanciest vegetarian meals imaginable. Frequently. 

You can tell he’s enjoying exploring a whole new side of cooking and surprising you but he rarely eats the veggie meals he makes because his bloodlust is too strong

If you do like cooking then you bond over making the dishes with him; if not, then he temporarily bans you from the kitchen when he cooks as a means to surprise you with the final result!

Little update !

Just wanted to let everyone know that I've updated the characters I'll write for so be sure to check out the pinned post to see all of them! But the main update is that I'm now willing to write for Angel Dust & Husk as well as Blitz and Moxxie from Helluva Boss!!!

Also I've been feeling a little burned out from trying to write a whole fic as my first project as an amateur writer so if anyone wants to send in an ask meant for a headcanon list rather than a full fic then I could answer that quicker and regain writing motivation! 💕✨

Queerplatonic Alastor x Reader Headcanon

I like to think that in place of any 'his and hers' themed matching items, Alastor and Reader would have 'Deer and Dearest'.

Maybe I'm being silly but I like to think it fits Alastor's personality considering his delight for puns and his "Oh Deer!" mug. I can see him getting this gifts both to treat his queerplatonic partner but also to annoy them a little because it's honestly entertaining

(unrelated but I just wanted to update everyone on the fact I've written 1155 words for the fic I'm writing so far)

And for anybody curious, I am currently writing a fic in response to a different ask I've been sent and I think it's going quite well. Although it's taking a little while because I'm adding some extra story to it that I felt was necessary. So it's going to be what you asked for AND more! I appreciate your patience and please trust me that the extra time waiting will be it worth it as I try to perfect it haha. Can't wait for you guys to see it!

I'm obsessed with the idea of Alastor and Lucifer being in a QPR but those two can't be normal about anything so instead of being in a queerplatonic relationship, they'd be in a queerplatonic RIVALRY

Idk how to explain but they'd have this immense queerplatonic tension between them that could have started as mocking politeness so they end up with like an increasingly intense angry-friendliness situation going on lmao
