I feel a lot of problems could be solved if people stopped worrying about helping "too much"

if someone is in trouble, and they get enough help that they're supported into when they could support themseleves, is that really so terrible??? as long as other struggling people aren't getting fucked over by this accidental stop gap, is it really a problem????

if a person with autism and a person with dyslexia are given the same accommodations for an exam, the dyslexic person may not need to be in a separate room, while the autistic person may not need extra time. both having both is hurting no one however, and as long as they are required to have the same thing, this is the only way both will get what they need

if it isn't fair to the rest of the strugglers, maybe offer them the help they need as well, it truly is not that deep

#so much suffering is based on giving people only what they need to survive #and then them not surviving because their needs were underestimated #there are enough resources for everyone to live in excess #capitalism is indeed the problem yet again #that the 1% decide theyre the only ones who get to live in comfort is sickening #but what do I know #politics
