Lace Harding was a young dwarven girl wandering the Ferelden Hinterlands with her family Mabari, Contessa, helping a neighbor wrangle sheep, when she found an Inquisition scout overwhelmed by bandits. She rescued them, led them back to camp, marked up a map, and trotted home. She returned the next day with a bow and said “Maps are all right, but nothing beats a guide.” She stuck around for a week until she was offered a job, and that’s how Lace became Scout Harding.

Neve Gallus, Protector of Docktown! I loved the Threader’s Plate armor from Neve’s personal quest. The Investigator’s Robes are cool too, but I just love the look of a mage in armor!

Also I wasn’t planning on the Sailor Moon vibes, but I’m into it haha

Super excited for the new Avatar: Seven Havens series announcement, and after revisiting an old Toph portrait, decided to take a swing at an old Zuko portrait from 2020! I really liked the original (below) and it had always been one of my favorites, but 5 years is a long time and after seeing the difference with Toph, I knew I could breathe some new life into this one as well. Again I kept the background and the general pose, but then redrew everything from scratch. Check out the original and a comparison below.

I absolutely LOVE Lace Harding’s story in Dragon Age The Veilguard! Exploring the deep lore of the Titans, lyrium, and the Dwarves’ separation from dreams, magic, and the fade was so engrossing and satisfying. And centering it all around my favorite scout was brilliant!

Really proud of these! They took as long as it typically takes me to get from the opening bar fight to the decision about Treviso or Minrathous.
